[CONGRATS LB!!!! 128 is fabulous!!! Way to go girl!!! I am so happy for you.

queenie
I so understand the blessid headaches. They are so killing me! I hope all goes well and you can join me in starting stims. yeah:)

Rinnie I am praying for you. Keep up the faith girl!!

Amber I am sure you are going to have a perfect bunch of follies on fri.

Imblessed I am glad you enjoyed your AP session. How great that your 6 embies are doing so well. GL with the 5 dT.

Ruby Drop the stick!!! (hehheeehhhee)

Prawnster You are right along with a few of us taht started stims yesterday, today and tomorrow. Very exciting!! I feel you on the headaches and weepiness, its horrible!

Well, I managed to remember the Gonal-f, Lupron, doxycyclin for me AND dh, AND my metformin all this morning. Now if I can remember to repeat all this evening (except for Lupron). These blasted headaches are still taking their toll on me. I am trying to do things to stay relaxed, but tis not working. I had to write "the" big fat check yesterday to the clinic and I am just so worried that this is not going to work. Its been such a bad year so far. DH lost his job in Jan, my grandpa died in Feb, DH had a kidney scare in March, my Grandma died in April and my dad cut his fingers off a few weeks ago. Its not been a good year. I need some great news for the family. Things need to start looking up again!!

Hello,
I'm new to both the post and forum. I've been reading some of your threads, and am so happy to hear the good news for you many of you, and definitely understand the rigors of this process as this is our first ivf cycle.

After trying several months either naturally, help from clomid, letrizole, we went to 3 attempts at IUI and failed. After that I immediately went on bcp's in April, then stimulated with a cocktail of lupron, gonal-f and menopur. Our ER # was 14 on 5/22, all looking great with the same shape, size, etc with 13 fertilized via ICSI. I now have very painful nipples/breasts with the daily progesterone in oil shot. 10 embies made it to our 5dt which was yesterday, 5/27. I am now lying low for 2 days as directed, with no harsh activities (I'm pretty active outside) for the 10 days until we go back for hcg blood test on 6/6.

Can anyone give me good suggestions for inside quiet activities? I do have books to read, and there is only so much on tv!

I'm crossing fingers for myselft and everyone else that is going through this. I know none of us would unless the desire was so strong. Hang in there!
Our precious Liam was born 2/4/09!

Aims - Sorry about your BFN. I truly sympathize with what you're feeling. I pray that you'll get thru this and be able to continue forward when you're ready.

LB - CONGRATULATIONS! :D

Wow, this is really difficult.....dealing with BFN's and BFP's at the same time.....a part of me is happy and a part of me is sad.....it's like an emotional rollercoaster. I wish everyone could get BFP's.

As for me, my ET was today. So, I'm officially PUPO and have joined the rest of the 2ww'ers! I'm going to rest now. Unlike my last two cycles, no worries and no stress.

Good luck to everyone.
Me - 38, DH - 40 (male factor)
1st IVF - 1/08 - BFN
2nd IVF - 3/08 - BFN
3rd IVF -5/08- BFP - THANK YOU GOD!!!

ftg: Good luck finding low impact activities! My bed rest the couple days after my ET were terrible! It was hard to lay around and do nothing. Reading helped a lot! I work, so being here has helped me get through the 2ww. At least I'm distracted! How many embies did you transfer? Best wishes and baby dust your way!

IMBlessed: Congrats on youe ET!! How many embies did you transfer? How did they look? Take it easy the next couple days, and just enjoy being PUPO!!

jharris - They transferred 3 embies....1-8cell and 2-6cells. My doctor said they're all grade 1, which is the best quality. They're going to keep watch on the other 3 which are 2-5cells and 1-4cell. DH is so tired of going thru this that he wanted them to transfer all 6 embies. My doctor said this time it's gonna work. We'll find out on June 12th.

Hi All--

Aims: I am so sorry. Take all the time you need to grieve and do what feels right for you.

LB: This is wonderful news, Lisa. You are officially litigating for two! :D

Dakota and Prawnster: If you are anything like me, the headaches will ebb as you get rolling with the stims. I know it sucks, but remember it is all for the best possible purpose.

Jharris: You're next, girl! I am sure your little TarHeel has scouted out the best uterine neighborhoods, laid claim to some prime real estate, and settled down for a nine month stay!

Rinnie: Get thee to an In-N-Out Burger! You are deserving of some comfort and TLC! Allow me to second those who wrote to you earlier regarding slow rising numbers. My sister had a less than ideal rise with her second pregnancy and now she is mother to a plump blue-eyed girl. The point is...those numbers are rising!

IMBlessed: Congrats on your ET and welcome to the 2ww! We can obsess about symptoms together. :) Are you going to cheat with an HPT before the beta? My beta is scheduled for 6/5.

To those in the 2ww and those on the other side: I'm three days in...when can I reasonably expect to feel some pregnancy symptoms? I have been poking my breasts constantly hoping to feel some tenderness. Unfortunately, they are sore now simply from being jabbed at so often.

You girls are the best! Have a great day.

IMBLessed: Sounds like you transferred 3 very good embies! 3 seems to be the magic number for this board! And it sounds like your RE is thinking positive already! That's always a good sign! Good luck getting through your 2ww!!

ForMaggie: You are too funny! I hope my little TarHeel is all settled in! hope they are all moved in, and put up curtains already! I guess I started feeling some symptoms about 5 days in? But obviously I don't know if they are pregnancy symptoms, or just PIO symptoms. My boobs are tender and sore, I'm tired, take frequent pee breaks, my back aches, I've had a little heartburn. I'm hoping they are pregnancy symptoms!! But trying not to overanalyze! Trust me, in a couple days, you won't have to jab them to know! Just touching them softly will be enough!! :D

Thanks again for everyone's support. My plans for now is take some time to heal. My DH on the otherhand is ready to try again now. lol. I was lucky to have my insurance pay for my first two attempts. So, now before trying again, I have to see if they will approve it again. I still have 4 frosties, so hopefully I'll be back at it again soon. It's just really frustrating not knowing why it hasn't worked.
