Ladies,

Hiya :) Hope everyone here is doing well ... I have a question..

Ive started spotting this morning we are praying to god that its implantation, but deep down ladies, i know - i know my own body and i know my AF is about to come - she will be here by 2mrw eveing if not sooner ....

Im trying not to cry, but its dam hard - this was our last go - im so angry at the clinic cos we only got 1 dam egg - i fee sick with worry - just dont know what to do ... i just wish this dam AF wud hurry up an arrive so i can get on with things and have a dam good cry

Has anyone had implantation bleeding, please tell me what it looks like - what can i expect - i dont know if i can go on like this wondering no more ... is it too late really for implantation? Please, be honest with me ladies .... i wud rather have the truth ....

Thanks

I did not have spotting, but it can happen for a while. Don't let it get you down at this point Becky. You still have a chance.

Hi Ladies -

Becks - I posted to you on the other thread. I'm so sorry about AF's arrival. I was so hoping it was implanation bleeding as I was reading the posts. :( Thinking of you, sweetie.

Hope everyone else is doing well. I'm almost at 13 weeks (tomorrow) which means HELLO 2nd TRIMESTER! However, M/S has not gotten the memo! :? Maybe it was delayed in the mail!?! Hopefully it catches on soon.

In the meantime, here are photos of my little one from last week's nuchal...

Image

Check out those long legs and little TOES! (still not included in the measurement - of baby measuring 6 days ahead of schedule). Still not sure if that "extra" part there is part of HER other leg or part of HIS required anatomy... whatdya think? ;) (I really don't care, but I'm totally curious of course!) Will gladly take pink or blue!

And here's the 4-D image ... weird... but you can see that he/she is holding on to the cord like a blankey! how cute. :)

Hello all!! Hi Lara, so glad everything is going great with your first few weeks with baby.

We did have a scare yesterday so we have a set of pics early.

Wednesday morning, I got up to get ready for work and when I went to the bathroom I saw blood. I, Stephanie, was totally frightened and woke up Jim. I called into work and then called the doctor's office. She told me to get off of my feet and come into the doctor's office first thing when they open. So we went in and they immediately did an Ultrasound. My cervix looked perfect at 4.6 cm. My uterus looked good. Baby A was moving allllll over the place with a great heartbeat and Baby B was chilling with a great heartbeat.

They said everything looked great. The doctor said that, especially with twins, that you get a lot of blood flow to parts down there and that sometimes they bleed. There is nothing wrong with my pregnancy. The only potential was that Baby A's placenta was hanging lower than Baby B so it will need to move up by about 20 weeks or so or they may modify my activity and it could possibly mean definite c section. So needless to say we have new pics for everyone to see.

We are going today for our first trimester Level 2 scan or whatever it is called and we will get addl pics then as well.

Image

Both of them - yay we finally got a great one of both of them.

Image

Baby A moves all over the place in the scan and this pic we got one of him/her looking at us.

Image

Baby B is hiding. It also looks like he/she is saying get this thing off of me.

So I will post today's pics later. My appt is at 1:30p.

Please keep us in your prayers.

Steph - what a scare! I'm so sorry you had to go through that, but I'm so happy it was nothing! Still, scary, though, I'm sure. The piccies are fab! You're right the one does look like, "hey, quit squishing me!" And thus begins the journey of having siblings who have to share everything - not just birthdays and special events - but the uterus too!

Mir - so good to hear from you - we were worried you'd gone OVERBOARD! Where the heck u been, sister?? Hope your vacay was fab - but don't scare us like that anymore!!! ;) Tell us about your trip - and PICS!!! Thanks for your prayers for my g-mom and family - they still need it - today is 4 weeks exactly in the hospital. UGH. I feel for her- and them, they are rotating shifts and someone is with her 24/7. M/S - well, I'm scared to say it out loud cos it's been much better but I'm scared to say it's over - it creeps back up on me when I do! Just every other day or so tho... so much better than constant nausea and vomitting!

Hello to all the other mommies and mommies-to-be out there - and all of our other friends TTC (BABY DUST TO YOU!!!! <<<HUGS>>>>)

Must go to 2nd OB appt now... no more scans til 18-20 wks! :( But I should get to hear HB on doppler today. Today is going to be like a regular GYNO appt :? Lovely. I don't know why i'm so dreading it, like all of us, I've become accustomed to the stirrups and quite used to them actually... I guess it's just old dread from pre-IVF... go figure.

Have a lovely Friday my dears - I'll be back later tonight or this wknd!

Well I thought it was almost overwith last night and 4am this morning I woke up and it was back to red. I layed down and calmed down and after a couple of hours it was going back to brown. I called the nurse and she said as long as I am not cramping and that I am not soaking a pad, then don't worry. I am just seeing it when I wipe. So if it continues I might insist on another scan Monday. I have to work tomorrow so I hope it behaves itself.

My next appt is Friday the 13th I get a vaginal scan to check my cervix because of my history of leep procedures and they will take a look at the babies then. Then Wednesday the 25th of June I will see the OB and then Friday the 27th of june I will have the genetic (anatomy scan) with the high risk. The peri doc is guessing one is already a girl.

Steph - I know it must be scary - seeing the blood - I know I would completely freak... but if they are saying not to worry, please, please, please try not to. Hopefully they will know more when they do the vaginal scan too - could it be a cervical issue?? Did you get the nuchal done?? Any piccies?

As for me, my OB (which they consider to be the first OB, since the one I had at 9w2d was just "pregnancy confirmation") went fine. I had a pap and regular gyno exam (which was due anyway, so check!) Heard the HB with the doppler - no problems. Woo hoo! This means my risk at m/c is now less than 1%! (sigh of relief after going thru one already!)

We did discuss the results of the nuchal, which weren't good, but weren't horrible either. My risk of Downs has increased 0.2% (from 0.4% - based on age alone - to 0.6%) but they aren't terribly concerned, as it's still under 1% risk... I think it's interesting that they do make kind of a deal about it as an increased risk, yet at the same time, make a big deal about my risk of m/c being less than 1% - I think that's odd. The doc even said that 3 of his 4 kids had an increased risk of Downs and none had it. I guess we all know there's a chance of any type of problem with our children when we take the TTC journey - but it's a risk you take. That's where FAITH and PRAYER come in.

So, I'm giving it up to God. If we have a baby with Downs, then He'll give us what we need to cope. They asked us if we wanted to do the amnio, but we aren't going to terminate under any circumstances, so there's no point in taking that chance with the baby.

How are the rest of our mommies out there??? Must be terribly busy - haven't heard from most of you in a while!! Tell us how you are. we miss you!

Hi Ladies, sorry i've been MIA, just exhausted by the end of the day. Finally finished work, but am paying the price for the last 2 weeks, i have turned into the elephant woman, my legs are huge can only wear one pair of sandals which have a velcro fastening. On the good side everything else is A okay so as long as my BP stays normal they are not worried about the swelling, the down side is i can only manage around 2 hours before i need to rest with my legs up, so getting everything organised at home is taking longer than expected. But all for a good cause.

Hope, glad all went well at the Ob, and your sailing into your 2nd Tri, congratulations, i know its such a relief to have the odds go down. Take care, hope the ms is on its way out.

Steph, sorry your having a hard time at the moment, make sure you rest up when you can, and take time off work if its too much for you, the babies are more important. I hope it resolves itself soon.

Miracle, welcome back, we missed you. repiled to you on the other post, hope your still happy from your cruise.

Rachel, nice to hear from you, wow how time flies, 6 weeks already, i bet she's changed so much. Hope the hearing test goes ok. My SIL had a boy last week, he is so gorgeous, can't wait for mine to get here now. We are all excited at them having cousins so close in age, it will be crazy at my in-laws.

Shantala, Su, Nims, hope all is well with you all.

Got to go do some work in the nursery, catch you all soon.

I only have two more days Tue and Thur left this week and then I am off until the following Saturday. I just wish the spotting would stop. yesterday all I wanted to do was see them to make sure they were ok. I am trying, really trying not to worry and I remind myself every time I wipe that it is brown not to worry, but it is hard. I have to take paperwork to them tomorrow for my FMLA and short term dis. I might call and see if they can check it again. I do have the possibility of cervical issues but both times I was checked Wed and Thur by two different doctors the cervix looked good. So the bleed started prior to that. I just have two babies up there causing a bunch of comotion and they need to stop. :). Thanks for all you guys support. I will post some of the nuchal scan pics tonight or tomorrow. There were like 12 of them. Everything looked perfect scan wise, just waiting for the blood work, which should hopefully be in by Wed.
