Baylor: What a GREAT jump. That is surely doubling every day....LOL Can't wait to hear your u/s results....maybe there will be 2 :)

TheChosenOne: Good luck on your Beta test...sorry I can't really be much help, I'm not that far along in the process. I plan on POAS too, I've already gotten them so I can pee on them daily and see the Trigger shot leave my system and see if a positive comes up before Beta. Maybe someone else can shed some light on your symptoms :)

I got randomized for the gel. I am glad b/c I was worried about the ring and comfort. We got our report today.
Out of 19 eggs, 13 were mature. They ICSI all 13 and 6 are fertilized and growing. So we find out more tomorrow! The nurse said since we have MFI, our results are excellent. I just pray they keep growing and growing!!

Becca- I bet you are glad to be done with the study & the ring. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Indie- I am planning on testing out trigger and POAS too. This is our first real shot at a pregnancy. Please grow embies! How many are you planning on putting back?

baylorbear-Great #'s! When is your u/s?

chosenone-Good luck on your beta. The spotting sounds good, could be implantation.

Karen: So glad that so many of them fertilized....that's great! I'm planning on putting back 2 on day 5 or 3 on day 3....unless we don't have a lot at day 5. If we only ended up with 3 on day 5 I think I'd press them to transfer them all....that way we wouldn't have one lone frozen embaby. How many are they letting you transfer? Good luck with the HPT :) and the gel :)

baylorbear33 - Wow, that is one heck of a beta :) I'm excited to find out if you have 2 snuggling in!

Thechosenone - I'm no help on this one, sorry, Best of luck to you though.

karen266 - Great news on your fert report, can't wait to see how things go tomorrow. I'm not yet sure if I want the ring or gel, even though I used the gel last time. I'm a little concerned with putting the ring in, but guess we'll just have to see.

stressball- Keep the PMA, your numbers are still looking good. If you have sharp pains and are really concerned, you should call the RE. Let us know how your b/w goes tomorrow, I'm praying for you!!

IndieBlue - How are things, feeling anything from the stims? You're almost there!! Oh yeah, your prank call radio story was cracking me up this morning and I love the word holla, always makes me smile :)

beccatx - I cannot believe you're already heading for your last study visit, time sure has flown..okay, maybe not for you :)

Nothing new with me, just day 3 of Lupron and take my last BCP this Friday. I'm so ready to start stims and already getting nervous about the outcome, so just trying to focus on the next step and keep the PMA going!

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the shout outs to my pregnanyc and ending the study soon...holla!

Again yesterday afternoon there was bright red blood when I used the restroom (peeing)...it shocked me (no sex or activity to cause it). It was in the toilet and on the tissue...of course I panicked and looked to make sure there weren't any clots or chunks and then called the RE office. The nurse bascially said decrease my activity and unless it got worse or I had accompanying sharp pain, try not to worry, it can be normal for some women, and call them today if I need to. They could try to squeeze me in for a sonogram or HCG test, although they are booked. Oh yeah, the nurse mentioned that the progesterone can be an irritant and cause bleeding for some women. After the one time, nothing on pantyliner at all and just minute traces of brownish when I wipe. I do have pms type cramps pretty frequently still, but nothing major and I guess I'll just wait and see. I was up a lot of the night worrying and praying, but I have an ok feeling and think I'm alright (is that denial or faith?)

thechosenone- I did have cramps much of the 2ww, but I only had some spotting right before beta...8dp5dt. I do think I've read that spotting like you are can be totally normal. You would get a pretty reliable hpt reading at this point- are you against doing one?

All you other beeyotches take care...I'm so excited about all the progress!

Your radio story had me LOL Indie...

Becca: I'm glad you've stopped spotting....and I'm sure it's probably just that progesterone, that seems to be one of the main side effects is the irritation. LOL on the Beeyotches too.....it was HILARIOUS, I wish all you guys could have heard it. At the end of the call he said, oh and what does 'my 9 strapped to my side' mean? The guy said that 9 referred to a gun....the radio guy freaked out and said 'I'm calling a family counselor, that's it!!!, he's bought a GUN?!?!' Too funny!

Angram: Holler! LOL You'll do great....and I'm sure you'll be sooooo happy to get off those BCP's too. I keep thinking there is something I'm forgetting to take everyday, but it's those darn BCP's and Doxycyclin LOL I just got in such a rythm of taking them and my mind is still stuck on them.

Nothing new for me either....appt tomorrow, praying that the increase in GonalF has made a difference. I've been searching out more GonalF just in case....since I only have 2 vials left, so that's roughly 4 shots. If the u/s isn't my last tomorrow...praying that she atleast decreases me GonalF back down so I can make it last longer.

Speaking of funny....have you guys ever watched Madea? It's a Tyler Perry movie, maybe it's an Atlanta thing LOL Anyhow....his character in one of the movies always says "halliluyer".....that seems to be the word of the day for my oldest lately.....it always cracks me up. She says it then says "Jesus just saved your life" when she's in a church for a wedding.....if you ever get a chance, watch those movies....they are all FUNNY! I'm not a big fan of the sitcom but the movies crack me up.

Take care ladies!

Karen Did they tell you why a 3dt? Now I'm worried about my ET....from what Dr. K said, they don't do a lot of 3dt anymore and she said that she'd transfer 2 on day 5 for me....unless something came up. Anyhow, just wondering if they told you why the 3dt?

Yippee Karen...good luck tomorrow...it's going to be great!

Indie- I haven't seen Madea, but our Pastor is always telling my DH and I about it...in fact, that's where we went on Memorial day and he was trying to get us to watch it then...I wasn't opposed- just trying to be outside in the sun! He is from Georgia...maybe there's connection.

karen266 - Gook luck tomorrow, I'm sending sticky baby dust your way!!

Thechosenone - I didn't POAS last time, but I sure wanted to. DH really didn't want us POAS and said just wait it out for the beta, so I did. I figured I had already waited so long to find out and I've POAS'd during all of my IUI's and it drove me absolutely crazy. I totally understand doing it, but hoping I can hold off this next time around :)

IndieBlue - Holla back at ya beeyach..you and beccatx had me rolling this morning before heading to work, it was a perfect way to start my day  Any news on the meds today, did they lower you or at least only another day or so?

beccatx - I'm so sorry for the bleeding scares you've had, but I do know quite a few women that bleed throughout their pregnancy and end up delivering beautiful healthy babies. Good luck and I hope it stops soon for you!

stress - Any word on babystress, I'm thinking about you two and hope all is well.

Duramed study question

Post by telli01 »

Hey guys
Sorry for jumping in here but I have a question for you all! We thought we were "in" the Duramed study and today one of our nurses called and said that because my DH has lower counts (1.5 to 3 mil) that we may be excluded?? She said she thought there was a way around it and nobody has told us this (and this has gone on for over a month now). We already have a study number etc and when I told her that, she said we may be ok. Any thoughts about this? I'll know one way or the other tomorrow when she talks to the clinical director but right now I'm stressing! Thanks for any help! (we're dealing strictly with MFI, everything with me has checked out fine)
