Oh, Rinnie...I am so sorry. I know you are smarting but consider this: With the Chinese medicine, you edged closer to your goal. You KNOW you can reduce your FSH. You KNOW you can produce good quality eggs. This is progress and you are moving in the right direction. Only a bit further to go, girl. IVF is a marathon and you are strong closer. My heart is with you.

JHarris: Don't despair! HPTs are crappy and unpredictable. If your RE thought he could get a reliable test result today, wouldn't he have scheduled it for today? The point is...it's too early! You've got to relax and take the pressure off yourself. Call up some girlfriends, go shoe shopping (Nordstrom's is having its semi-annual sale!) and go see the Sex and the City movie tonight. Doctor's orders.

Neffi: I can't tell you how many posts I have read about egg quantity vs. egg quality. Dozens of women wrote specifically about getting pregnant during the cycle with the least amount of eggs produced. Your body is devoting lots of time to creating prime follies loaded with perfect eggs. Not to worry!

IrishHope: Did they make the decision yet? If not, take to your bed and drink V-8! If they have decided to freeze everything, don't despair. My RE told me that FET rates are improving all the time and are, in many clinics, comparable to fresh cycles. And you'll have oodles of eggs to work with!

MzTia: Don't worry. She'll come. Have you started Lupron yet?

Rubylee: Wow! Sorry to hear you're all revved up. PIO hasn't had any psychological/emotional effect on me...at least not yet. I do, however, have bruises and welts all over my backside. :( Good luck on your beta tomorrow! I can't wait to celebrate your good news!

No real progress for me...I am just hanging out in the 2ww. Too early for symptoms. Too early to really contemplate cheating with an HPT. Tomorrow I go to my RE for a progesterone check. I am praying that she tells me I am a veritable font of progesterone and it is mandatory for me to stop my shots immediately. Not likely, but I can dream, can't I?

ForMaggie- I am not taking Lupron. I do see that alot of ladies do seem to take and take it for a long while. I will start on Follistim and Repronex on day 3 of AF for 10 days and adding in the ganirelix at some point towards the latter end of the 10 days.

Rinnie - I am so sorry to hear your news. The good thing is you know it can work, so that hopefully the next time is your time! Do things for yourself in your time off and enjoy that wine tonight!

Neffi - I am here!! Just trying to stay calm and see what happens tomorrow - I feel like I am just as nervous for tomorrow as I was for the initial test! Good luck tomorrow - hope you have lots of follies, although I think what ForMaggie said makes sense.

jharris - don't give up hope!! Anything can happen in the next 2 days.

Ruby - good luck with your beta - can't wait to hear your news!

Irish - I hope things went well today and that you get to move forward with ET.

Sending lots of PMA to everyone tonight - I know I need it!

Rinnie, I am so so sorry that this cycle didnt come through for you and DH. On a positive side, like you said you are starting to get somewhere through TCM. Keep it up, it may take some more time to get your eggs just right. I do agree with your AP, sometimes WM Dr's & RE's do things so clinical and under these circumstances it needs to be more custom, you need to be watched better and so forth. I hope that they can do that for you when you start your next cycle.

Enjoy your wine and soak. You so deserve it!! Please take care and let your mind bosy and soul heal so you are fresh and perfect when you get back in the wagon.

lots of ((hugs)) to you.

Rinnie - I saw your post on the other side, and I am so sorry sweetie. I sounds like you have a good plan to try again when you are ready, and I love the jacuzzi/wine idea tonight. You are in LA, right? What clinic do you go to? I live in HB. I was just curious which doctor you were seeing...

Hey ladies I have a question.....I did my Ganirelix shot tonight, it is a pre-filled syringe, bu tit had 2 huge bubbles in it, so I tried to push them out and I shot so meds in the air....it was not a huge amount, but I definitly lost some of the medication. Do you think that will be a problem? For those who dont know this is the suppressant like Lupron. I think Im okay, but I just wanted another opinion....I only have one other syringe, so I might need that tomorrow night if I dont trigger.

I havent been on in a couple of days, so much to read. LOL I started on tuesday with gonal f and luveris, plus estrace pill. Tomorrow back to office for blood and sono. I shocked myself, I did my own shots! I didnt think I'd be able to. I guess tomorrow they will tell me date for ER. I'm really nervous, DR said they might have to do abdominally (too many adhesions around ovaries and tubes) So far meds are ok just headaches, and sore BB's. Anyone had ER in that way?

Rinnie - I'm so sorry. It sounds like you're already on track for the next round. That's a good thing. Your posts inspired me to check into Chinese medicine and do acupuncture. Now, I'm more relaxed during this cycle than I was with my last two cycles. So, I thank you and hope to see more posts from you in the near future.

Rubylee - Good luck tomorrow!

Neffi - If it was only a small amount of medication that you lost, I'm sure you'll be alright. I was on Ganirelix and lost some with a few of my shots as well. Don't stress it.

Good night to all the Ladies!

I haven't tried AP with any of my ivf attempts, so I will looking into that as well as chinese medicine. I think I'll take more time off work too. My job can be stressful.

Hey Everyone,

Just got back from my cruise with my family. It was really nice being surrounded by family. I didn't even get a sunburn :)

I am still playing catchup on all that has happened since last Saturday. I do have to say to Rinnie that I am so sorry for you  I hope you have a good jacuzzi and a big glass of red wine. Also a good cry always helps. I hope the next time your TCM and western medicine get in sync and you get a beautiful child. I'll be praying for you and rooting you on.

Well, I thought I had started AF on the 24th because I was spotting, turned out to be 3 days of spotting and then nothing. The nurse said it could be because I started b/c the day after I starting spotting. I go in on Monday for baseline. If I get the go ahead I guess I get a shot of cetrotide. She said I will get AF after this shot. Anyone else doing this shot? I guess I then move into a couple of days of Lupron and then stims on the 5th. Better get to bed as I am really tired. Hope everyone is doing good and I will catch on the many pages since I left tomorrow.

So sorry I've been MIA, I've been getting moved into my house and studying for my Board exam which is on June 12th. I've been keeping tabs the best I can.

Rinnie- I'm so sorry about your beta, but totally agree that your success with TCM is something to celebrate in itself this month. I know you can get west and east together and make a perfect little one as soon as you are ready. Enjoy the wine with your hubby.

ForMaggie- I just wanted to say thanks for the laughs, your posts are keeping me rolling! Particularly the part about the progesterone- wouldn't that be great!!

JHarris- We're all in agreement, too early to tell for sure. Can't wait to here good news from you.

aims- thinkin' of you!

LB- can't wait for more good news tomorrow!

Neffi- Can't wait for your follie report tomorrow. I agree with ForMaggie too, think about all that energy going into each one of your little eggies.

cocosmomma- I can't wait to spy on you and Rinnie in August :)

Rubylee- Good luck tomorrow.

Good Friday morning ladies!! Is it just me, or has this been a really long week??!! :D I am so glad my beta is tomorrow!! I haven't POAS again since yesterday. I figure I will now know soon enough tomorrow with the most accurate test method, so why bother! My DH asked me this morning if I had POAS again and I told him no, he said good because I obviously got a bad batch of tests!! Gotta love the DH!

Another busy day, right? LB and RubyLee, best of luck with your betas today!! I'm praying for you!

ForMaggie: You are the best! Thanks doctor for the orders! My relaxing last night was watching So You Think You Can Dance! I feel optimistic that everything will be okay! Good luck on your progesterone test, but don't expect them to tell you to stop! :D

Neffi: Good luck on your US. May you have many healthy follies!

Rinnie: I am so sorry about your results. I hope you enjoyed your jacuzzi soak and your glass of wine! Sounds like you have a wonderful plan in place for your next go round!

babygurl: Good luck with your BW and sono today!

turtles: Welcome back from your trip! So glad you had a great time, and glad to see you are getting geared up for your FET!!

SD: You have had so much going on lately! And I hope you are enjoying every minute of it!

Dakota, IrishHope, kimmysq, aims, IMBlessed, MzTia, and anyone else I missed, hope you ladies are doing great, too!

Guess I should get to work. Hopefully it will distract me enough to make this day go by faster! :D
