FET

Post by lukesmom »

Congratulations on your son. I as well had a son with IVF in August of 2005. I had FET back in August of last year. It was not as involved as IVF. I had to wear some type of patch and the progesterone shots towards the end just like IVF. Then went in on a certain day and they implanted the embryos. I got pregnant, but unfortunately miscarried at 7 weeks. The embryo just did not develop. My RE told me that there was probably some wrong with the chromosomes and that is why I miscarried. So it is possible to get pregnant with FET. Good luck. My DH and I are getting ready to start a fresh cycle because we have no frosties left.

Hello:
I have also had a successful IVF/ICSI. Just had a FET today. Only 50% survived the thaw. The meds were so easy compared with a fresh cycle.
I have my beta on 6/10.
Good luck to you when you do your FET.
