Heather I just wanted to chime in and say that I started meds on day 3? Not sure if it makes that much of a difference with FET or not....but with fresh cycles I've met lots of women (including myself) that have started meds on day 3. I'm praying for you....good luck!

Ladies you are so awesome. I am so lucky to have so much support from not only my family and friends (which very few of them know I am doing this), but also my "cyber" family.

Hope, you almost put me to tears. You have such an awesome way with words. I know that if it's God's will, then this will happen. I just need to keep up the PMA, and pray, pray, pray.
Hope - How are you feeling today. Are you steering clear of fruit?

kbat- I am still hoping things work out for you this month:)

Indie- When is your retrieval date?

I won't go back in until Friday....maybe I'll get a better idea of when I'll trigger based on that u/s and blood work. They estimated on the 2nd of June....which is Monday!!! Praying I make it by then and my follies catch up.

Hello All!!!!

Let us note that the God we serve is a God of miracles, if we reflect on the story of Abraham and Sarah, then we will all know that there is hope for all who believe.

Mally Yes, there are many many stories in the bible of God blessing women with children who were unable to conceive without his hand.

Hope Thanks for asking. Well, looks like I'll be scrounging up some more money for some GonalF....I won't trigger until next week sometime. I'm as slow as molasses sadly....but on a good note the follies all seem to be keeping up with each other. On the right I have a 13.5, 11 and a 9 and on the left she measured a 13, 12, 11, 10 and two 9's. My lining was 10.4 and she said a B+? So again....looks like I'm growing follies at about 1mm a day or less, and at that rate I won't trigger until sometime in the middle of next week.

Oh well, so much for getting through this without added stress. I really really thought with the way I'd been cramping that this would be it....guess not :( I've been stimming since the 22nd, so again....today is only day 9, looks like I'll go 13 or more :( CRAZY!!!!

It's such a beautiful day out today--nice and sunny not too hot. Last week-end I got my tomatoes and other veggies in the ground and looking forward to having them grow in.

Just wanted to let you ladies know that I am thinking of you all today and hoping that everything is going well for everyone. :D

Dear all

Pl. know that though I am not posting much but you all are in my thoughts.

Today was my 4th day with down regging, so officially I am on with my 4th IVF-ICSI. :) I pray to God that this cycle is for me!!
My next appointment with the doc will be when AF arrives. The ER should be by the last week of June. Already feeling excited abt it.

Kbat - So nice to hear abt the pleasant weather at your end. Here we are still combating with scorching heat and waiting for the rains to arrive soon. :) Thinking and praying about you too!!!

Indieblue - Hope follies are growing big and strong. The counsellor at my clinic advised me to go for morning walks as it relaxes body and mind and increases blood circulation. Also the fresh air in the morning is very good for the uterus. I was also advised to have good amount of water, which means that one should be hydrated to the extent tht one doesnot feel thirsty.
Oh, the woods around your house seems interesting. Here in India with so much of encroachment into green area we rarely find these beautiful scenarios.

Heather - I am happy that you have started with stims. I know its clear to you now about the 2nd or 3rd day but my doc always calls me for beginning stims on the 2nd or 3rd day of the AF. This is because of Sunday and the clinic is closed on Sunday.

Hope - I was so thrilled seeing the pics of your little one on the other board. Congrats for being out of the first trimester, you must have started showing up now. Praying that your m/s goes down now.

Chris-where are you? Missing you, dear.

Hugs and love to all.

Good morning lovely ladies -

Hope you all have a fantastic weekend.

Hi Mally - Welcome to our little thread. Where are you in the TTC journey?Image

Indie - Honey, I feel your pain with the additional stress of buying more drugs and taking forever to peak with the follie growth. I was so scared in my last round having such slow growth and I think I had to re-order drugs 3 times! Which was frustrating due to $$, but also in getting them piece-meal and having to be home for the delivery! As I recall, I stimmed for 13 days too. :( But as it turned out, slow and steady won the race for me... I'm praying that even through all these frustrations and hurdles, you will have results like mine. Keep your eye on the goal, sweetie! Once you get that BFP you'll forget all about all this! ;) Image

kbat - Sounds like you are making the most of the beautiful day God has given! I wish I was a gardner - even my weeds get the best of me around the house! (I know my neighbors cringe!) My grandmother, Sassy is a farmer's wife and a wonderful gardener - We always have gorgeous veggies at home. Wishing you a beautiful crop!!Image

Heather - how's the stimming going? When are your appts scheduled?? Wow, reminds me, we need to update the prayer list! Grow follies grow!!Image

Sonu - Hi sweetie - sorry it's so hot over there! I bet it's a lovely country, though. I used to sell oriental rugs and had many friends and co-workers from India and Pakistan. They used to tell me lots of stories about their home country. I would love to visit one day. It's good to see you D/R'ing! When do you expect AF? It's so nice to hear your excitement!! Praying this is the cycle for you also!! Image

I guess our girl Mia is overseas now spending time with her DH's family in Moldova. If you get a chance to read this, Mia - we're praying for you, DH and little one. ;) May God grant you safe travels home! Image

I have praises to the Lord this morning, as my M/S seems to be slowly making it's way out the door. Woo Hoo! ;)

Unfortunately, my grandmother is still not doing well. :( Her form of lymphoma is rapid-growing and her body is so weak that she is having a very hard time fighting both the cancer and the chemo. I pray that the Lord will bring her comfort and strength and much encouragement as she is beginning to lose her drive more (after being in the hospital for over a month, I'm sure anyone would). I am also praying for my family, especially my mother, who is with my grandmother every day for about 12 hrs. It is also taking it's toll on her and my sisters who rotate day and night shifts. I hope that I can say goodbye to the m/s so that I can go down and spend some time with them.

Please also pray for my little one - I have placed this in the Lord's hands - our results from the Nuchal Translucency scan came back this week. The results are not bad - but my risk of Downs Syndrome has increased slightly. With my age alone, my risk was 1:232 and with the screening, it has jumped to 1:160. Personally, I don't like the use of ratios. Statistically speaking, I think it is much more appropriate for the patient/mother to hear this in percentages. Which is that there is a change from 0.4% to 0.6% - only an increase of 0.2% and still less than 1% chance of my child having DS. Needless to say, we will not terminate under any circumstances, so we have opted against the amnio to diagnose. God has selected this one little one out of the 20 embryos we created throughout our IVF journey and He has a very specific, excellent plan for him/her - if that includes having Downs Syndrome, we will love our child no less and carry on with life.

Praying that you all have a blessed weekend and new week ahead....

Hope - Thanks, dear. So sorry to hear about your granny. How hard it is for such an enterprising lady to be bedridden for so long!! I pray to God that HE grants her some peace and comfort.

Also, dear, I appreciate your strength and conviction after nuchal test. I have read many posts here that these tests are often misleading. I believe that your little one certainly has a beautiful life ahead and is coming with some wonderful planning by that GREAT ARCHITECT!!

I should be welcoming AF by the next weekend hopefully for the last time in the next 10 months. :) Yes, I am excited because now the fear of negatives has lessened and I know that I can get pregnant. I believe in HIS planning though I was really upset for a short period of time. And yes, you remembered on the right time...the prayer list should be updated now...if you need my assistance, you can tell me.

Selling Oriental rugs sounds interesting!! Was it from Kashmir? Kashmiris make beautiful handwoven carpets and they are priced exorbitantly high. They borrowed this art centuries back from the Persians.

Yes, India is an interesting and beautiful country and you should definitely visit India sometime. Within couple of days, weather will be amazing here with the arrival of monsoon.

Take loads of care....sending you ((((hugs)))) for this wonderful post!!!

Sonu -

It is so good to see you in such good spirits. If you're anything like me, when you know you have another tmt to look forward to- it gives you a kind of kick in the pants to get your attitude back in line after going through the grieving process. You are an inspiration and such a blessing to our little group.

Praying your AF next weekend is definitely the last for you for the next 10 months!!! You are correct, his timing and planning are perfect... you have amazing focus and strength.

We had handmade rugs from all over the world, but most of them were from Pakistan, India, Persia and Turkey - we did have quite a few from China and some from Afghanistan. They are amazingly beautiful. I can't imagine the skill and patience that goes into making them. I have since gone back and bought a few for our home... (though, some on the LESS pricey side! ;) ) Our showroom was the largest in the area. It was a huge open room - like an upscale Wal-Mart without shelving! It was like a sea of rugs!

So what is the "amazing" weather like when the monsoon comes?! That sounds rather scary and dangerous! Hopefully one day I can make the trip and maybe get to meet you in person - and introduce our little ones to each other!!! How cool would that be!?! :) God can make it happen. He is an amazing God!!!

Hugs to you, sweetie. Praying that God holds you in His tender loving care and blesses you with your deepest desires of the heart.

Ladies -

I need your prayers. I got a call at 7:30 this morning that Sassy has taken a turn for the worse. My DH and I are heading down this morning, but it is a 5 hr drive. I so fear that she will pass before I get there. Please keep her, my family and our safe travels in your prayers.

Thank you all so much - you girls are awesome - and so is the Mighty God we serve!
