ForMaggie- Thanks, I hope you are right, but I am also realistic inthe fact that my eggs will probably look the same, I just hope the fert is better this cycle. Im not so worried about the quality as long as they make it to blast! I hope you are doing okay in you 2ww. Thursday will be here before you know it. Are you going to POAS?

As for me, I am really bored today, and I can think of nothing other than the upcoming week and waiting for the calls about fert and dividing embies! I am ready to go, but at the same time scared!

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Congrats Ruby!!!!

jharris, dont you have your beta today?? GL!

We'll I had my E2 this am. Its only at 115, so they told me not to come in tomorrow for an US, but they are keeping me at the same dose. So if it is low, why dont they up my Gonal-F?? I dont understand, but they have been doing this for years and have great results. I asked the nurse and she said its only been 4 days and the Dr does not want to push it. We'll wait until Monday. What I fear is if it is still low then they up it too much to try and make up for loss times then I end up with a crap load of small follies and end up OHSS. I ALWAYS have to question everything. I am so horrible at that.

Anyway, super busy today, I hope all is well with everyone.

Hey ladies. Just wanted to make a quick post. I had my beta today, and it was negative. I had a good cry, then me and the DH went to the in laws, cooked out, and I had a couple Coronas!! Not sure where I will go from here. We have to pay for al of this out of pocket, so I have no idea when we will be able to save up enough money to try this again. Anyway, just wanted to say thank you to all you wonderful women for helping me get through this cycle. I don't know how I would have gotten through it without you. Best of luck to you all. I will continue to check in on you!! Now I think it's time for a good nights rest!

JHarris I am so sorry. That just sucks. There is not much to say other than I am sorry and just feel terrible that this didn't work out for you guys. I hope you find a way to give it another shot in the near future. Take good care of yourself.

Jharris - I'm so sorry about your negative. It's so disappointing to go thru so much and get a BFN, especially when you have to pay for it out of pocket. Hopefully, you'll get to try it again and it'll work next time.

Hi everyone! I'm new to this entire message board thing! Not even sure how to add all of the information bout myself!

I had my transfer done on 5/24 and now I'm waiting for my bloodtest to be done on 6/4. Time couldn't move any slower!!! I have taken 3 pregnancy tests...all BFN. Not sure what to think at this point. Has anyone else fallen into the same "trap" of wanting to know NOW and getting the BFN. Should I even hope for the BFP on 6/4?

:(

Amber - Sorry you're not having any luck with the meds. Did your RE increase your dosage or make ANY type of change before your next appt?

Hopeful - Welcome! I think it may be too early for you to do a HPT. Maybe you need to give it more time in case the embies implanted late.

so sorry to hear the bad news today from both amber and jharris.

Jharris- hugs to you. chocolate, wine, hot baths, anything you need to get through. Lots of snuggles with your hubby. We're all here for you.

Amber- your whole situation seems to be so frustrating, when will you know for sure about the future of your cycle?

hopefulinIL- Welcome! Don't worry about the negatives, there are many women who get negatives and then a positive Beta. Stay hopeful!

Neffi- can't wait to here your egg report! We'll be thinkin' of you tomorrow. I'm sure the ForMaggie is absolute right! OOHHHH AHHHHHH ABSOLUTE BEAUTIES!!!

ForMaggie- I didn't feel any different at all on my 2ww, in fact I was pretty convinced I wasn't preggers. As a psychiatrist, I strongly advocate retail therapy :)

HopinginPA- Now that I'm moved into my new house I can finally concentrate! But thinking about my upcoming u/s is making it a bit difficult (but IMO the 2ww after ET is far more difficult!!) I'm finishing my residency in 3 weeks so I'm taking my Psychiatry Boards on June 12th and my Family Medicine Boards on August 9th (I did a dual program). Are you in medicine?

Kimmy- Isn't it great to be PUPO!!

Babygurl- sounds like you are making some good progress with those follies!

Dakote- I'm wishing you Goldilocks Estrogen for this cycle ("Just right")! Go do some retail therapy like ForMaggie to get your mind off things--- just stay away from the swimsuits. Stimming and swimsuits aren't a good mix!

IndieBlue- How are you? Glad they made the substitute. I can't believe there is a shortage of menopur, as if this process wasn't hard enough!!

Rubylee- How's your pregnancy going? Any symptoms? Are you still in disbelief?
Me-34- 1 tube shy of a pair
DH 33- 6% morphology
TTC- since 1/07
IVF 5/2008-- BFP! (joy to the world)
DS born 1/25/09
planned FET mid-November 2010
still tryin' in the meantime!

SD Trying:
Your beta numbers are just incredible!! Congrats again!

JHarris, I am so sorry..I am sending you a ton of hugs. I know how hurt you must be, so please take some time for yourself. I know how hard it is when you are self pay (we are also), just one more piece of the puzzle to worry about. I hope you can jump back in the game very soon.

Amber, I am sorry to hear about your cycle...I hope they get it straight soon.

JHarris--my heart goes out to you. It so unfair. You seem like the type of person who would make a wonderful Mum. Please keep the faith that you will be someday.

Rinnie--I wanted to say i was awfully sorry to read about your beta drop. How cruel to have that BFP snatched away. But it sounds like you are so much closer this time after all your effort and embracing the Chinese medicine. It won't be long now.

forMaggie--my BBs are killing me--I can't even lie on my stomach anymore. I am also super exhasuted and have fallen asleep on the sofa most nights since my transfer. But I read both these are symptoms of the progesterone, as well as being pregnancy symptoms. So who knows! i am also quite grumpy--but it is probably just the whole waiting around mindgame.
