New to IVF... Help!!!!

Post by Rosario »

Helllo guys!!!!! My name is Rosario (23y) I am new to the forum and new to IVF. It will be my pleasure meeting everyone. Congrats to all the mommies to be and lots to luck going out to everyone's IVFs. Here is a little bit of information on my journey.

2005: Pregnant followed by SAB. Same time had surgery for corpus luteum cyst causing ovarian torsion.

2006: Dx with endometriosis. Never followed up on this assuming many people with endo have kids.

2007: 5in mass on ovary. Couple of physicans suspected cancer. Went in for surgery for cyst removal, chromotubation, d&c. They tested the tissue came back Negative for Cancer

2008: Went to different GYN took my medical records to find out my post op report states there were no spills when they did the chromotubation meaning... TUBAL BLOCKAGE. Definitely have severe endo, one of my ovaries is severely damaged due to my endo and now was referred to RE. I am now currently waiting for approval from insurance company but also waiting for AF (which should start in the next few days)

***B/w these 3 days I have tried and tried. ANd while i knew something was wrong deep inside all the GYNs i went thru to them, it was all in my head and i was stressing it to much. Fortunately I changed GYN and God put her in my life because these told me what the others failed to tell me. I love my RE and hope all goes well in my journey to becoming a mother.

I wish you the best of luck!! I know how frustrating it can be to get someone to listen and act on what you are feeling!!! My first round of GYNs only wanted to do a hysterectomy to deal with my endo, but I just couldn't do that at 21years of age!

Anyway, good luck with your IVF journey!
