Anyone in the 2 wk wait

Post by crogers »

Hello everyone!! I just joined and please excuse me if don't know all of the abbreviations yet. We just went through ivf for the first time. June 2 was our ET and I am a little nervous. The waiting game is not that fun! I feel good about everything so we will see.

I know what you mean. I'm not in the tww. however i'm waiting on my u/s and that seems like forever. but good luck and welcome above. my tww was the pitts. 4dp5dt i started cramping and the next day i started cramping and spotting. mainly AF cramps. once I got the bfp the spotting went away. So good luck and may God bless you!

Crogers- I see you are from Norman. Not too far from me. Did you go to OK City for your procedure?
I will start my 2ww on Monday, June 9. I am praying that it works. We are doing a FET.
Please keep us posted on how things go for you.
Do you plan to POAS?

Hi Ladies-
The TWW is a horrible time but trust me...it will go by fas when you look back on it. Just try to fill up your calendar with little things and it will help the days go by fast.
I just finished the TWW. I really didnt think I was BNP because I hadnt had any real symptoms. I had a little cramping but it was nothing out of the ordinary. I didnt take a test because I decided that if it came back negative I would be really sad and if it came back positive I wouldnt believe it. So I know that everyone is differnt but just try to wait it out. 2 weeks will go by fast. Dont try to read into anything becuase it will just add more stres and sress is the last thing that your bodies needs right now.
This board is a great support system. I suggest asking questions on this board vs making youself crazy doing research online. We will help you get through it.
I am currently waiting for the first U/S. I thought that the tww was bad...its nothing compared to this wait. My DH and I decided not to tell anyone until after the 1st U/S. So I am so excited to hear that my test came back BFP but I cant share it with anyone for a few more days.
So hang in there and try not to get too stressed. And if you need anything dont be affraid to ask because we have all been in your shoes.

Hello:
I am currently in the 2ww.
Cooking girl..what amazing beta numbers!

I am currently 6dpt a 3d transfer from FET. I have no symptoms. It is driving my crazy. When I did fresh cycles my bb were sore from the progesterone. I don't even have that...makes me wonder if my progesterone is working?

Saw Sex in the City last night..that did a good job keeping my mind off this wait.

Baby dust to all.

hrobinson- yes we did go to OKC for our procedure. Dr. Reshef is who did our ivf. We have been very happy with him and his staff. Love them!!

I am very new to this so can I ask what POAS stands for? I was looking for a place on here that gives the answers but I couldn't find anything. Where did you go for your procedure? I don't feel any different yet so I will not jump to any conclusions.

I am so glad I found this site because I have found some many post on things I have gone through or may go through. Very comforting!

Count me in - i'm a 2WW girl...so far I'm ok but it's still early in the wait...
this may sound weird but I almost dread beta day - I guess I fear another BFN so I'd rather be in the 2WW and hope this cycle worked...i am exhausted from progesterone, my boobs are big from progesterone, I have cramps since E/R so really i won't be able to tell much unless something really odd happens in the next week which I am hoping it does of course!!

I, too, am in this awful 2WW. I had a biochemical preg during my last cycle and had 3 frozen embryos left. We thawed all three, and 2 survived, one Grade A and one Grade B. I had my FET on June 2nd, and I go in for my preg test on Wed. I have had very few symptoms--just very mild cramping. During my chem preg, I had very sore bbs for 1 day, and then few symptoms at all.

I am torn between being active and laying on the couch. I was in a wedding this past weekend (5 days after FET) and, of course, no alcohol. But, I did dance a bit, which I am now really beating myself up for. I feel like I don't want to do anything to risk this, but then I feel ridiculous for being so hypervigilent! Let me know how the rest of you are doing!

btw...I was previously under "leigh28" but had to change my name...forgot my password. Anyways, I do remember IrishHope from when I was here last.

Hi!
My beta is tomorrow and I don't feel anything. I had mild cramps last week, but this week I feel absolutely nothing. I did a FET on 5/30. I did an HPT this am and it was negative, so I pretty upset today.
Sending babydust to all for +++ beta's !!!!!

kimmysq - Goooood luck tomorrow! I am hoping the HPT was not sensitive enough...

leigh31 - I remember you as leigh28 - wow you are a trooper being in a wedding! It's so tough not to have a few cocktails at big events...mostly b/c people look at me funny since I'm never one to turn down a beer or two!! :)

I am still in the beginning of my 2ww and last week I was def calmer...I'm starting to get nutsy analyzing every little thing...I had some cramping/pulling Sat/Sun which would be 5 and 6 days past transfer but I also have lower back ache like AF...so who knows...I don't really have sore bbs like people talk about - they are bigger but that's the progesterone...

I am still debating POAS this cycle!

hang in there girls! Baby dust to all!!

Hey there,

Kimmysq, wishing you really well tomorrow, I hope that you are one of the ones who has a positive result after a negative the day before. After far too many hours cruising on the net about betas and the whole 2WW, I've found PLENTY of those.

I haven't been brave enough to POAS - I wanted to just leave it for tomorrow as I figured that one time hearing the news of a negative would be enough. Praying for both of us to come out with a positive tomorrow.
I still have V sore BBs but nothing else going on.

Baby dust to all!

Judy Jude7702:
I am hoping for a BFP for you!!!!!

Irish Hope: How are you doing in the 2WW. It is so hard! It was all I could think about. I do not have good advice about POAS...I am addicted!

Baby dust to all,
Kim
