Thank you for all you replys and words of encouragement. You really are uinbelieveably strong woman and I have so much respect for you. My sister is still finding it hard but is slowly opening up more to me. I just feel she needs to talk to someone who knows more about the situation but at the minute she refuses to talk to anyone but me and I don't want to push the subject.
I can't see her as much as i want to (due to school, i'm 17) and as we are not close to our mother I find it hard to cope. If there are any other numbers or website address I could give her, just so she has something when i'm not there, I would be very greatful.
Thank you so much for your help so far

Hi Kate - at the risk of being totally condesending - my jaw dropped to the floor to read that you are 17. Thats not to say you are not capable of supporting to your sister - which you clearly are. But I just wanted to a add a cautionary word of wisdom - please please make sure you have some one who will be a listening ear for you too. Being so close to some one who is so distraught is very traumatic and its important that those who are caring and supporting them have their own support systems too (thats regardless of their age!) That doesn't mean breaking your sisters confidence but just seeking some emotional support for yourself to enable you to remain strong for your sister.
I know the other girls who replied have suggested some organisations - and I hope they are of use.
I wish you and your sister peace and happiness. What a truly remarkable sister you are - you are both blessed to have such a loving relationship.
Best wishes
Lorraine
