HELP!!!

Post by Nicky Dean »

Hello All

I am now into my 4th week of injecting burserlin, this is my 1st attempt at IVF, i have had a cycle and the 1st scan showed that i have a cpl of cysts on my right ovary, i had another scan last sunday which told me that the lining of my womb is still quite thick, so i have been given some tablets to take so as to make me bleed again and i'm hoping they will do the trick.
Has anybody else had the same prob, i'm thinking that i'm not responding to tmt.
I am 36 almost 37 ive had a kidney transplant (20yrs ago) and maybe my medication for that is not helping, but i know of transplant patients that have had a pregnancy, i am hopeful but getting ready for a fall.
Also i have just been made redundant this week, i'm at work now and it feels weird, ive got till the end of the month, its just that this was ideal for me, not far from home part time evenings 4 on 4 off, just great for going through this.
Anyway life goes on and at least it gives me the chance to give this my all.
Take care everyone
Love
Nicky

hihi nicky
on my first treatment i started off injecting with burserlin and when
i was scanned they found a rather large cycst, i was also given
tablets to make me bleed unfortunately the cycst did not go so
i had to have it aspirated and after a couple of days went back
to injecting with burserlin.
on the next 3 attempts i was put on the 21day protocol where
i took the pill for 21 days then after bleeding started the
burserlin injectoins, this was to try and avoid cycst's, hope this
helps

Hi There,

I can't really help with your questions to be honest, I did have ICSI but my tmt seemed to go straight forward. I was upped on more drugs because I wasn't producing enough follicles but thats it. I just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world and I am sure someone will be able to help you on here.

Hi Nicky

My first cycle went a bit haywire but not exactly like yours. I was stimulating too well and my oestragen levels were through the roof. I was told to stop injecting and was coasted for a few days. Then they found a huge cyst on my ovary and I had to have it aspirated. It immediately filled back up again but wasn't painful. I then started to bleed just before EC and as my oestrogen levels were still very high they put me on a couse of Oestradole (not sure of spelling). It's an oestragen tablet to boost your levels which I thought was bizarre as my levels were too high anyway but apparently it levels thing out. My EC and ET were all changed and almost cancelled but eventually went ahead but then I got severe OHSS and spent the 2ww in hospital.

Our bodies react in so many different ways that there is no rhyme or reason as to why things happen the way they do. I hope things settle down for you and you get what you wish for.

Good luck and take care. Sorry about your work situation. It may be a good time to have a bit of time to yourself anyway.

Love Dagny x

On my second cycle I got a cyst and this will stop the downregging process so they took me in and took it out then 2 days later I started my stims Im sure you will be fine , it is common for this to happen if they arnt too big they leave them alone!
I spoke to someone once and she got them every time she had TMT

Hope this helps
