Hi Everyone! It's nice to see new names.

I guess I will have to start checking more then a couple of times a week as I am falling behind on all the news.

Unfortunately when I get home from work I'm am down for the count. Love my sleep. I am averaging around 10 hours a day with the occasional 2 hour nap.

Never slept that much before in my life.

I'm glad to hear everyone is doing well and some of you have already been to your first OB appointment. I am 10W1D today and have another ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow. Can't wait. I have already had 3 but it
s been a couple of weeks since my last one so it will be nice to see how much my bean has progressed!

It sounds like alot of you have your ultrasounds scheduled for Monday so I would love to hear how things go.

My M/S is still there but doesn't seem to be as prominent. I am hoping that means that I am almost done with the nausea.

So other good news I am officially off the progesterone and estrace as of today! Yay!

My next ultrasound is on June 23rd followed by my first OB appointment. Can't wait. I love my OB. She is actually the same Doctor who did my surgery for Endometriosis 2 years ago. She works out of the hospital I work in so I see her all the time. She always asks how things are going and if I have any questions she answers the for me.

I think the tomato thing is mainly in texas but I think they said some were grown in new mexico too. We haven't had any reports of illness in San Antonio and they haven't taken tomatoes off the shelves, but I would rather be safe than sorry. And of course I was craving pico de gallo yesterday, so I made my own hot sauce with canned tomatoes. They said on the news if you use raw tomatoes you have to cook them 1st to kill the salmonella.
I also didn't know deli meat was a no-no unless you heat it till steaming either. I was so craving a subway sandwich the other day, so I settled for the grilled chicken sandwich since the patty is hot.

monkey- I love my OB too. She is this tiny little petite woman, like 5-3 90 lbs so reminds me of a brunette tinkerbell! But she delivered 2 of my friends babies, so I trust her. She also went through IVF to have her 3rd child, so she knows exactly what I went through! But sadly I won't be released until 12 weeks.

waiting- I gave up on the scale. I haven't been on one since my IVF consultation in Jan. I figure it will just make me depressed! I told my husband if my rings don't fit later he will have to buy me a new one!

sdtrying- congratulations on seeing the heartbeat! what an amazing milestone!

jim- been quite lately...how are things on the homefront?

God Bless!

well ladies I had my first OB visit and it went great!!!!

Except for the part where they drew 6 tubes of blood!! I am like omg are you seriously gonna get that much out LOL

I am a little confuse my RE said I was 10 weeks but when I went to my OB did ultrasound both babies are doing great:

Baby A - Measuring at 9W5D - HB: 171
Baby B - Measuring at 9W1D - HB: 176

So now i am confuse am I 10Weeks or am I 9weeks 5days? LOL

is this normal to have this much of difference between RE and OB ultrasounds?

sameera- I think the U/S measurements are more accurate. The '10' weeks is from your last menstrual period...not necessarily when the embies implanted and started growing. I guess you are technically 10 weeks but your embies are measuring 2 days behind....which isn't a big deal right? Atleast the look good and the heartbeats are great!

Chelly - You are right i'm not going to really worried cause it's only couple days off but I just didn't know if it was common with IVF.

Where OB has different view and RE has different calculations.

Yes, both babies are healthy and doing well - that's all i could hope and wish for!

Sameera- The measurements on ultrasounds of statistical averages. If the dates of conception are known for sure you go by your dates rather than the ultrasound (provided there isn't a huge discrepancy between the two, 1 week discrepancy is not enough to change your dating). Your OB should be using the dates known from your RE which would be 10 weeks.

Most docs have pregnancy wheels that you plot the mother's LMP, usually these wheels also have date of conception on them too. I used my pregnancy wheel to plot what would have been my LMP (2 weeks prior to ER) and gave this LMP to my OB to stop all the confusion.

The baby's sound excellent!

Thanks everyone!

I'm really not going to worry about it and go with what RE said and just go with that statistics rather then the whole confusion.

I'm so glad today is FRIDAY!! - I wanna sleep in late - i have been so tired.

My doctor prescribed me something called Prenate DHA she said to start taking at 25 weeks- apparently that drug is extremely good for brain development and such - it has Omega fatty acid and stuff.

Well, i am not sure why she said 25 weeks - since brain development starts way before 25 weeks but I will have to call and ask her about it.

How's everyone doing? eating healthy, getting big - Ihope :) :)

Hi Chelly,

Things at home couldn't be better. My work is keeping me busy is all. Dri is doing good, she just isn't used to not being able to clean. (I wont let her!)

You doing okay too?

jim- glad to hear everything is well...are yall looking forward to the 9th? I wish my husband won't let me clean! (just kidding, he does a lot anyway and my mom comes on the weekend to clean the bathrooms) I'm so spoiled!

sameera- I take optinate prenatal vitamin, it has a tablet for the vitamins and the capsule for the DHA which I think is the same thing as omega 3 fatty acid. I've been taking it since I started IVF...but yes it is supposed to aid in brain development. I think they started putting it in formulas too. Glad to hear your babies are ok!

God Bless!

Good Monday morning yall!
How is everyone feeling? I was so lazy this weekend! I think I just lounged around the house...my mom came on Sunday and she cleaned. This will be her first grandbaby so she doesn't want me to lift a finger- I am getting really spoiled! Its crazy how the m/s comes and goes...some days its really bad (like this morning) and others its tolerable.
Just waiting for my next u/s on wed!
God Bless!

Hey everyone!!

How's all the preggos doing?? hope well!

Chelly - Damn, lucky you - I wish somebody would come to my house and fold all the laundry that I have done. Every weekend I say to myself I am gonna fold this and I get so tried :( I never get to it..

I hope your m/s is gone for good instead of coming and going. I cannot wait to hear about your u/s.
