Aaarrrhhh!! I am so confused!!! So my E2 was only 718, but RE said its ok. He said your E2 needs to rise 50-100% every other day and mine has been doing that daily since the increase. BUT, now he wants to reduce me back down to 150 2x's a day. WHAT??? He said because the E2 is increasing as it should, right now he just wants to get whats on the left side to grow just a little more and too much "juice" can fry them. Really??? Has anyone every heard that before? My right side is just right and he doesnt want them any bigger, bu the left side is just shy of being good enough so just a little bit.

This is so confusing and frusterating

Hi
I had my ER today and things went pretty much as well as we expected. Out of (just) 6 follies we got 5 eggs. 4 were mature and the other they were hoping would catch up by the time they did ICSI this afternoon. This whole thing feels like a check list:
downreg....check
stims.....check
ER....check
(to be completed...)
fertilisation......
develop embryos......
ER............
2ww...............
POAS 234 times......
Beta..........

Now I am terrified how I will cope if none of my 4 or 5 eggs fertilise overnight.

Any tips on keeping a PMA at this time?

cwrj00 - yes, it is a checklist/hurdle by day...is this your first cycle? Your eggs will fertilize!! they will - try not to worry...I wish you a great fert report...

last cycle was my first and I was super list/check obsessed and honestly crazy  ...this try I am much more laid back and have more PMA...I think you just have to try and focus on work or whatever makes you feel happy...your hubby, a pet? shopping :) ...also, realizing truly worrying isn't going to change the outcome - what will be will be and tell yourself you have just as much a chance things work out great vs. not great...it's a constant battle in your head - I know but don't worry yourself sick...

Dakota - sounds like your RE knows what he/she is doing! Good luck!

hope everyone is doing well...

SueQiwi I'm so sorry :(

Dakota Just trust your RE!!! You'll do great...just trust he knows what he's doing. I hope your other follies catch up and nothing 'fries' LOL I'm actually in a study so I have to do the Crinone gel....but I've left a message for my nurse so we'll see what she says. As far as deciding on how many to put back at transfer, my RE makes this decision based on your response, lining, age and embryo quality. She said that with my age the most she'd put back is 3 and that would be on day 3....so we'll see :)

cwrj I've put my checklist in my signature LOL It's hard to keep up with everything....I'm just glad after ET that I don't have to make anymore long road trips to the RE for 2 weeks...YAY! I'm tired of going every other day. Good luck with your fertilization report.

Good Afternoon Ladies

SueQiwi- I am so sorry to hear the sad news

I really hoped for slew of BFP's to be coming.

As for me 2nd day of stims. Feels good do be doing something even if I am already rashy and bruised. But each day puts me hopefully one day closer to that big BFP.

Have the best day ever.

Hey Ladies

LB-- glad to see your still around. Can't wait to hear the results of your u/s!

Dakota-- dont stress, the RE knows whats going on.....the other can get a little bigger! Just relax, everything will be fine!

Indie--glad to hear that 5 fertilized! Thats great news....I'm sure they will divide on schedule...your doing a day 3 transfer? right?

SueQ-- my heart is aching for you! Have a glass of wine and a bath!

ForMaggie-- cant wait to hear your beta!!!!!!!!!!

MzTia--as soon as the stimming starts everything goes fast!

Cwrj00-- I think this is the month for little numbers of follies, but lots of BFPs! Dont worry, I thought the same thing, but I have three embryos waiting for me, and so will you!

Emmy good luck tomorrow!

As for me, my 3 embies are all doing well. they called today and said that one other fertilized and is a day behind but she is hoping that it will make it to blast to freeze. I'm a little pissed that they didnt tell me another was growing! I know they dont want to get my hopes up, but they are MY BABIES! I have a right to know.....I have a feeling when I go in for my transfer tomorrow I will not be nice, plus I'll have a full bladder so I turn into a WITCH! ANyway, I go in at 11am, cant wait to have my babies back :D

Bad news. While my beta came back positive, my hcg was only 34. I also learned that my estrogen is quite low, so my RE had me slap on an estrogren patch. I go back tomorrow for bloodwork. All signs point to a chemical. I'm mad.

ForMaggie-
Could you please remind what day post transfer you are? You may be just fine, and the estrogen may be all you need...hang in there! When is the next test?

ForMaggie- I am sooooo sorry this is happening to you! I know exactly what you are going through. It is such an emotional rollercoaster! My beta last cycle came back 26, but I had been getting + tests for 6 days! I was so upset, its like it is stolen from you! But dont get your hopes down yet! You never know whats going on in there, wait until your next beta. I know the wait is torture! I wish I could say more. Know that if this does turn out to be chemical there are some positives! You know you can get pregnant! But lets hope for the best, I have seen at least 4 people on this site start with low beta and have viable pregnancies! I'll be thinking of you!
