FET in Feb!!!

Morning all!

Well got a call this a.m. from the embryologist and he said out of the 32, 20 fertilized naturally! I'm pretty shocked at how many!
My RE has said that she'd like to try a 3 day ET this time around with AH, for something "different". I did 5 day ET the first time around and no luck, so we'll see what they say when Sunday comes around.

Laura I think my RE will only put in two blasts if it's 5 day, and if it's 3 day I may be able to squeeze 3

Kim I'm sure your progesterone is getting where it's supposed to, I know all cycles are different. You might not have cramping since you weren't on stims. But I'm sure your RE would give you a progesterone blood test if you're unsure. Good Luck!!

Kimmy, with my FET, all I felt was tired, which was a little misleading, since that is a side effect of PIO. My bra was a little tight, but my boobs were not sore. And when my face broke out, I had a feeling that my body wasn't using the PIO, I would get a negative result, and it was just making me a greasy-face. which turned out to be true! But who knows! everyone is different, hopefully no symptoms is good news!! Hang in there! My first fresh cycle, before I got my BFP, I had a TON of cramping and bloating -- from the stims.

Laura, wake up! Isn't that lethargic feeling terrible? Are you surviving these storms? I had DD outside today and I thought the wind was going to take her away!

Donni, I hope our son's graduation went well. Want to see those pics!

Hello everyone else!

I am officially a pin cushion. I am still on Lupron...working my way thru the Gonal F, now I have started Luveris! Thursday's u/s, I had about 6 follies, but they are too too small. I go in again tomorrow afternoon for more bw and another u/s. My ovaries are starting to complain. I say, "Be quiet and do your job!!"

Do you have to stay in bed after the ER? or can you go about your business? (the same day) I am really having a memory lapse about my last cycle! that's ok, makes it all new and exciting again! \

I would stay in bed after your retrieval if you can...I was a little sore.

Faith- That's great- 20 is awesome! That makes sense to try a 3 day transfer with AH if d5 didn't work- can't hurt to try something different- tons of women get pregnant with 3d transfers. Let us know what happens this weekend if you end up having the transfer- good luck!!! Sending you lots of ++++++++++++++++++ baby dust!

Beth- Hope your bw and u/s went well today! I think I took it easy for the day of the retrieval but by the next day I went back to work and just tried not to overdo it since you will be sore and stuff.

Quick update

Did the ET yesterday, transferred 2 three day embies. From what I was told they looked great so now the waiting begins.
I'll write more tomorrow, thought I'd better take it easy today!!

Faith ~ I was wondering what is going on with you. That sounds wonderful, I am so incredibly excited for you! So when is your beta?

Also - are they going to try and keep the others and freeze at blasts? When do you get your frozen babies report?

Beth that actually wouldn't be a bad idea to stick all 20 embies in, haha. Maybe, just maybe one would stay!! LOL How are you doing as the "pin cushion"?? Ugh, I hated that!! Didn't help this time because a couple times I bruised! Now they are just yellow bruises! Hope you get lotsa follies!!!

Donni my beta day is June 18th, and I got a call today and 12 of our embies made it to blasts and are frozen for us! We were happy with that number!

Well as for me I am feeling SO miserable!!! UGH! I always feel terrible after the transfer and this time is no different. I have awful AF-ish cramps which my uterus feels like it's getting a beating. My ovaries are not very happy with me either, and my stomach is so bloated it feels like it gets to places sooner than me..lol. Soooo it seems IMPOSSIBLE to me to be in pain like this that something good could come out of this even though it's only been a couple days. AND sorry if it's TMI but don't care, I need to vent why in the heck to the cramps get TEN times worse after going to the "bathroom". I may be the only crazy chick this happens to but UGH...no fun.
But....we'll see right?
Ok girlies I'm done for now. My stomach is going to escort me to the living room now...haha

I feel the stomach thing...good lord I am bloated!! And it really just started during my 'hell week'!!
My stomach and thighs are covered in bruises, I look like I got in a fight with a really short person.
What an awesome number to have frozen!
I can't wait to see how many follicles and eggs I have, they grew very suddenly! We still don't know whether or not we are going to freeze the left overs. (sounds like I am talking about dinner or something...LOL )

Me, I have my ER scheduled for this friday -- that's tomorrow morning!! So that means ET will be Monday or Wednesday. Why don't they do day 4 transfers? That would fit into my schedule so much better!! LOL.

Daily report from "Mrs. Beer Belly"...

I think I'm cracking up, lol! I honestly think I may have mild OHSS, everything is so tight and definetely not comfortable. I mainly noticed it Tues or yesterday the most, and yep it's not gone anywhere. So yucky and crampy! UGH.
Ok Beth, like you said, less than a week until Beta, but if I don't write on here for awhile it means that I've officially popped. Your hell week is almost over!!! Yay! Good Luck on your ER tomorrow!!! I hope they yank out lotsa eggies! Let us know how it goes!

Mrs. Beer Belly ~ You crack me up lady!!! You poor thing, I remember that feeling of being so darn bloated. Just think if all comes out wonderful you'll continue to feel that way. And the belly leading you around - yeah, gets worse. But a welcomed worse. OK.... so I've tried really REALLY hard to not ask - but will you be PingOAS??? I wish I could sneak around and catch some of your urine and dip it without all of you' all knowing it. That way if it was positive I can jump up and down and if not, then just keep testing to feed my addiction. Beta June 18th - YAY!!! And what an amazing number of frozen. Everything is just working out wonderfully.

Beth ~ What - what....? ER tomorrow already?? I am so excited! YAY - rest and take it easy after, but update us as soon as you can. Inquiring minds want to know. By the way, my RE typically only does 4 day transfers. They are on the "cutting edge". Good luck tomorrow! I will be praying for you.

I'm just taking my lupron and I'm so tired it's crazy!! I go in tomorrow for u/s and bw and then I'll be hopefully adding in estrogen and baby aspirin on Saturday...so things are moving right along...

Hello ladies...

Faith, I thought this beer belly was supposed to start going down after the stims...I think you and I can bump bellies from across the country! Ugh!
My report, We got 15 little eggies, and 7 of them fertilized. They are dividing like they are supposed to, so I am scheduled for ET on Wednesday, that would be day 5. wow. Part of me can't believe I am at this point already.

Off to work. We painted the nursery this weekend and put up the border. I'll have to post pics when I can. Tomorrow is another cervical check and my OB appt is Wed.
