I start Lupron June 25th and Stim meds on July 9th.

Did I mention that I am scared of needles. You girls that give yourself shots are my heros... I however will be leaving it to the husband!

Hi Jennalea - welcome to the thread - believe me I am petrified of needles on my last cycle DH did all injections for me - but this cycle he has different job and is away 3 days per week so I had the choice - do them myself or no treatemnt - first one was scary - more the thought of it than anything but no issues now - you can do it !!!

helloo eveyone - been away for a couple of days with work and my word has this board started moving!!

Well ladies need you all to get out your dancing shoes to start the follie dance - will take first stimming injection (gonal f) tonight - schedule wise I think I take it for 12 days before ER - seem to think that was about right for whoever was asking!

Am knackered so off to bed and will catch up more tom

Happy Friday to everyone. I started Lupron yesterday. YEAH Only a million more shots to go. Is anyone else saving up all the needles that they used during this process? I still have mine from my last cycle so I am thinking of just adding all the ones from this cycle just to show all the trouble I have gone through to get PG. That is if the container I have is big enough for all those needles.

Hi everyone. It sounds like everyone is really starting to progress. I haven't been on in a few days and I feel like I am behind on everyone.

I went to my second ultra sound today, and I am responding a lot more than the two previous times. My follicles are usually around 10-12 mm at this point, and today I had some that were already 20mm. The nurse said that this is not bad, but that I am progressing a lot faster than normal. I don't really know what to think, I am only on day 8 of my cycle (day 6 of stimulation) and they are talking about pushing the egg retreival up to Mon or Tues. Has anyone heard of any similar situations, and do ya'll know if it is something to worry about?

I would think it was good you are responding so well best of luck and baby wishes coming you way. I hope I'm respomding as well as you are I go for BW and U/S on Sunday 4 days into my stimming I hope something is going on in there

I have done 4 days of stimming and starting to feel crampy. They told me I would feel some discomfort and this is nothing too bad. Is anyone else feeling like this?

Tarabeltwo- I am not having cramps, but I have had a constant headache for the past three days. I asked about it today and they said that it was normal. I guess we all react differently to the drugs. Hope you get to feeling better.

I am on day 6 and my follicles are 15mm. The cramping is horrible for me. I went to the Dr. today and he gave me some pain meds to help. It hurts to sit and walk. They say it's normal to a point. I had bw/us today and I go again tomorrow. They are hoping to retrieve on Mon or Tues. I can't wait to get these things out of me. I am a beast right now and I have bruises onmy legs from all the shots. Talk to your Dr. about the discomfort if it gets any worse.

Thanks for the info. Brit I was really concerned about headaches when I started because I already suffer from Migraines but I only had 2 or 3 days of them and they went away. I slept a lot those days, seemed like it was the only way I could get away from the pain.

Thanks so much for your input. I hope you get feeling better and your ER is soon. I go in on Monday for an US and I will see how things are going. I have a feeling I will be taking it very easy this weekend. DH will be doing Saturday cleaning. I don't think it will kill him

This is my first IVF cycle and I should be starting the week of June 22 if everything goes well. I am waiting for insurance approval and they seem to be dragging their heels! I am stressing out that they will wait too long and I will have to miss this cycle and start next month. Has anyone been through this? I am very excited to get started so I hope we get the green light soon! Good luck to you all!

Hi ladies

brit/Hotflash - excellent news on those follies - I have had bad heads as well - and is a huge side effect of treatment - have had to resort to pain relief as so intense - last night had a new side effect though... we had been out with friends for dinner and I was absolutely knackered - got home about 11ish - did the injection and stright into bed - 2am still wide awak, 3am, 4am - obviously eventually drifted off but 7am woke up and feel like i have slept all night - bizzare - I vaguely seem to reebmer this happended last time I was on Gonal F -- anyone else experienced this?

Hows all the oher stimming ladies?

Will do a little AF jig for all those still waiting for her to show her ugly face to get the party started!!

Am going to spa tomorrow with my mum for 3 days so won't be back on until late tuesday PM but will try and check in on all my lovelies again today before I go

wisfhfull 27_ Yes that happens to me a lot. But it has finally caught up to me and my Dr. gave me Ambien. All I want to do is cry and he said it's not all hormones it's lack of good sleep. Last night I took one for the first time and I don't even remember taking my glasses off and going to bed!!

Tarabeltwo_ my DH will be doing everything this weekend as well. I have on and off migraines and with the cramping, let's just say it's the least he can do at this point. Sometimes I get resentful but I know it's just the stress of the process. My us/bw was done this morning and I am waiting for the official results but they are between 15-18 so any day now.

brit1612- Don't worry about how fast you progress. Samr thing for me this cycle. I am also on day 8 and I think I'll be pushing today and retrieving Mon. This is a few days quicker than my first cycle. They watch you so closely. Good luck we could be going in on the same day!
