All those going through some tougher times please hang in there. This was the most relaxed I have ever been in the over 1+ yrs since we started trying. I had had enough of my own sometimes poor attitude, 2nd guessing, and worrying. I know its difficult, but I do think there is a silver lining in it all. We've been there and know when pain is difficult to overcome.

Those that continue the 2ww keep doing what you're doing. During this time this was the most sedentary I think I have ever been in my life. My dr's told me to take it easy, and they knew that was asking a lot for me. If we got our result, that's all we wanted. Keep your heads high!

Tuesday I had a pretty painful uterine twinge. During the last 2 days I've passed out asleep in the middle of the day. I never did feel the urge to POAS, but my beta this morning was 134!! I know this by no means decides that one is out of the woods, however I just felt different this time. Maybe thinking since this is where we're at in our ttc journey, its our first IVF try, we had only 2 good blasts because none made it to freeze, and its totally out of my hands - worked. None of us really know what makes it work for any one of us so go with your gut!

Please hang in there, and know that there are differing forces at work that will make your dreams come true. :D

ftg - Congrats! That is awesome news

Neffi - OMG - Congrats to you too, you must be so relieved, i am so happy to hear your news

Dakota - hey girl...thanks for looking for me...looks like you and I are on schedule together...

Sooo I had an apptmt for u/s & b/w today and I am happy to say that I will be triggering tonite!! YAY!! I am so excited and wow, things really DO move quick once you start stims..whew...anyway, my ER will be Sunday morning...so it works out great, our IVF center is downtown Chicago so we will be going out for an early dinner with friends down there and then spending the night so we can have a short drive over for the ER on Sunday (our normal drive from where we live is about 2 hrs) - kinda like a mini-vacation...only with IV sedation, probing, and paper gowns on sunday..LOL

Lots of fantastic news on the Board today!

I get to add to it! Overnight 4 of my 5 eggs fertilised! We are so excited - it s double what we had before when I had 9 eggs!

My ET is Sunday. Can anyone tell me if EC Thursday and ET Sun means it is a 2 day or 3 day transfer?

So happy right now......one more thing checked off the list!

Have a fantastic weekend

You are all so incredibly kind and your words have meant so much. Sometimes, in the wee morning hours, when I am in the waiting room of my RE's office, I imagine all of you sitting in offices across the world--knitting, tapping into Blackberries, reading trashy magazines (Why is it that US Weekly and People are dog-eared and falling apart and Smithsonian is virtually untouched?) I am enormously comforted knowing that all of you are out there. A silent, global sisterhood.

For the last day I have been searching for stories about women with low betas who went on to have drooling bundles of joy. For awhile, it was a bit like searching for BigFoot. Everyone had heard of someone who had beat the odds...

At the RE's office this morning, the angel of mercy who sometimes draws my blood congratulated me. "But my number is low," I said. And she pulled me aside and whispered, "I am not a doctor, but I have seen a 17 make the most beautiful baby you have ever seen. Don't give up." I just love her.

I had back-to-back-to-back meetings all day and then had to drive my friend to pick up her car in some crazy location that even had my GPS confused. Have I mentioned that I am directionally challenged? By the time I found my way and dropped her off, it was almost 4:30. I didn't take calls on my cell during the day for fear that it would be bad news and I wouldn't be able to hold it together for my meetings.

When I finally picked up my cell, there was one message...from the clinic. It went like this, "Hi, this is Chris. I'm calling to tell you that your numbers are wonderful. You nearly doubled in 24 hours! And your estrogen is way up too!" Thank you all for pulling for me. I know I am not out of danger yet, that there are alot more hurdles to clear, but for tonight I am pregnant.

Love you girls.

ftg - Congratulations! That is a great beta. Keep taking it easy and enjoy being preggo!

Yay Neffi!! Congrats, your PUPO. Enjoy it. I am so happy everything came together.

Dakota/Queenie - Have fun triggering! Things do speed up when you stim, but prepare yourself, after ET they slow way, way down.

ForMaggie - I have such a good feeling about you...my mom just bought me a little kokopelli statue (a fertility god in the Native American culture) and I have him sitting on my window sill in the kitchen...I just gave him a little kiss and a pat on the head for you...sending lots of "kokopelli" strength your way and for your embie(s)...xo
have a great weekend, and keep up the strength and pma...
