Hi Shell

Glad you have a date to be induced but hopefully the baby might come before then. I must be a great feeling to know that you will get to meet your baby finally. I have to agree with everybody else i think your nesting some of my friends were like that days before the babies were due. They used to say stretching helped bring it along.
Hope it happens soon.

Hi Helen,

Its got to the stage now I'm over my due date and I just can't wait to say hello to my baby. I had some pains last night and thought I was going to have to wake Lee up but then they went again and not had any this morning. Alot of people keep saying to me that I should drink Rasberry Tea, the only thing is if it tasted like tea I would be sick because I just don't like tea or coffee full stop.

I bet your excited, I see your approaching 12wks soon, when do you have your next scan?

Love
Shell.

Bloomin heck Shell, I've just got back from our huge shopping spree at John Lewis (went for the weekend!) and logged on expecting to find out......only for you to tell me its another week! You are going to be unbearable this next week. Your posting tally will go sky high, Tracey Sharp and I will never be able to knock you off the top three!!!

Just take things easy. Fruit tea tastes nothing like normal tea. I like strawberry and rasberry tea its quite refreshing. Worth trying!

Fingers crossed it all happens sooooon.

hi Shell

Still here I see! :o

Well if you want something to get this baby out watch the film I watched last night  I absolutely poo pooed myself. It's called 'The Ring' and I wish I had worn a nappy. I am a bit of a scary movie wimp but OH MY GOD! If that doesn't bring baby out nothing will. Ignore this if you have seen it but if not unplug your phone, you will understand when you watch it.

Anyone else seen it by the way and am I just being a wimp???

Hi Dagny,

You do make me laugh bless ya, well yeah I am still here still plodding on I bet you I will go right uptil Sunday now. I wonder how Alison is getting on.

Well I ain't seen that film to be honest, but that is not one of the films I could watch to be honest, I am more of a soppy person me, I prefer Ghost, Pretty Woman, etc.... I know I am probably sad lol.

How you doing? You had a good weekend, apart from nearly poo pooing yourself?

Hi Bertie,

I know what you mean about can't wait to meet the new arrival. The thing is it gets harder as time goes on. I was so much wanting to see mine and here I am going over. I am sure little one as stuck its hand out and said hold on Mom I ain't coming out yet its a little too cold for me. Knowing me I will go into labour tomorrow with all the bad weather they have forecast (6" of snow) who knows.

Honestly Shell if I didn't love you so much........ First I want to confirm it's a boy and secondly Nik is right - you can bugger off for a bit and stop posting so we can catch up - honeslty!!!!!
Try a bottle of castor oil - try not to worry too much - probably likes it in there!

Hi Shell

Just posting to see how you are doing and whether you got the snow last night. We did, well if you can call it that. In the south it's just pathetic the excuse we get for snow. It's always bloody cold in Redhill and it's always on the news that Redhill has the lowest temperature and even my mum rings up from Devon too see if we are alright. Then when the snow comes it's rubbish and I LOVE SNOW!!!!

I am dying to go skiing like we have done the last 2 christmases. Nothing better than a white christmas day on the slopes and no crappy TV. I can hear the slopes calling me for this christmas but my mum would kill me if I went away for har first grandchilds first christmas. Ho Hum!

Let me know how you are getting on. Did you get your car?

Hi Dagny,

Well here I am still posting and still no signs of baby making an appearance, little one must of stuck its hand out and said Mommy & Daddy if you think I am coming out in this cold weather think again  I think it will be Sunday I will have to be induced I can see it coming.

Your brave going Skiing, this is something Lee as always wanted to do but to be honest I am such a coward I really wouldn't like it.

I'm sorry to hear that you was a little dissapointed about the snow, :( we do have some here and its about half inch thick. The clouds still look full of it but while typing this its knocked off.

Yeah we picked our new car up and its lovely, I was a little sad to see my car go but hey I had to really because it just wasn't practical. I haven't drove the new car but thats probably something to do with I can't fit behind the steering wheel properly.

I am just going to do some drying now of my clothes, I wanted to wash the covers off my settee just the arm covers but its getting them dry ain't it???

How are you doing anyway?

Love

Hi Shell
been away to the Lakes for a few days (no snow) came back home to Newcastle (plenty snow!!) and you are still here. Hope you are alright.
In my baby mag yesterday I was reading these tips and thought of you -
1. blowing up balloons puts pressure on the cervix, but be really careful it frightens me when people blow up balloons.
2. going on the swings
3. walking on the pavement with one foot on the curb and one on the road
4. drink raspberry leaf tea

However, 2 and 4 probably not recommended in the snow.

Take care
