We've been really busy. We're moving an July 7th. Our DD is turning 2 this month and our 10-year anniversary is coming up. I'd like to blame the drugs for feeling tired, but it could just as easily be the circumstances. :)

Kimmy, sorry about your neg hpt. I'm sure you know that it's still really early. Keep smiling!

DD is calling. More updates later.

Hello ladies! Thanks for the support. I went to the Dr. and he said my pain may be caused by my endodemetriosis (spelling???) I also have not been sleeping very well because of the pain and hotflashes and now I have a stomach bug thingy. He gave be some Ambien and pain meds. My follies are hugh and they thing I will retrieve on Mon or Tues. 5 measurable on each side. He also said he wouldn't retrieve if my stomach flu diesn't go away. I am freaking out...

hrobinson- Day 3 embryos just means they have not grown as much as the day 5. There is lots of debates in the IVF world I guess as to which ones are better to transfer. But I wouldn't worry I'm sure it will all work out. And yes BG means baby girl. What does ET/ER mean? I am new to this and I can almost figure them all out but there are a few I can't. Oh yeah and BFP's what does that mean?

Kimmy_ I am an obsessed when it comes to POAS. I drive my husband nuts!! I'll give you advice that I can't seem to take. Put them away :-)

So I go for BW ans US tomorrow morning and I'll know if I have to take the trigger shot. I can't believe I could be transferring embryo's backl in next week! I am so nervous and excited. I am already dreading the 2ww!!!

Hotflash- Good luck- hope your bw and u/s went well today! Do you know when your retrieval will be yet? I hope you are feeling better so you can keep going with your cycle.

Yellow- Sounds like you are busy- hey go ahead and blame the meds for being tired- why not?!! I always blame the meds just cuz you can! Are you having a party for DD? We just did a family party for ds last month when he turned two so it wasn't too big- actually it was 3 days after my transfer.

hrobinson- Sounds like things are going good! A blastocyst is the stage that the embryo reaches usually at day 5 and it has I think 70+ cells in it at that point. Lots of women transfer day 3 embryos that aren't blasts yet and get pregnant. I guess the debate is whether it's better to watch the embryo develop in vitro outside the body and see if it makes it to a good looking blast or whether it's better to put a good day 3 embryo back in and let it turn into a blast inside you...so I wouldn't get worried about all that. I'm hoping for the best for you- good luck!

Kim- Hope you are surviving- only a few more days. Did you POAS again? It's hard not to once you do it cuz you want to know so bad...Here's to #2! Lots and lots of +++++++++ baby dust coming your way!

Ladies- So weird, dh and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary on August 1. So cool that we are all so much alike.

Laura- Thank you for explaining what a blast is. My clinic says that rarely do they wait until day 5. SAid there is a lot of debate about it, but....

Kim- Waiting to see those HPT test results. When did you go in for your BETA?

Hotflash- Sorry to hear about the pain. I also have endo. I went to Oregon about 7 years ago to one of the top dr. in the world to have him remove the endo. He said I would never have it again. WRONG!!! The endo is back. Mom said I probably need to have lap done again...and probably every few years for the rest of my life. UGH!!!
The dr. said that as long as I am not in horrible pain, he recommends putting off surgery. So, I have no pain as long as I am on BCP. so...

Update on me....
WEll, I went in for my appointment and the dr. came out with a glum look. Couldn't decide if I should cry then or wait. Well, only one of the eggs made it in my "good" vial. The one that made it was an 8 cell though :D
So we had a decision to make becuase he didn't like just transfering one...not good chances. So, we decided to thaw both my other eggs and see what happened.
Both of them made it so we transfered my great 8 cell, and then a 4 cell. NOt so good. The other embie was only a 1 cell, so they were going to keep an eye on it until Friday and if it made it they would freeze it again.
So, we did transfer two, and it was an easy transfer. I called my dad and told him that I officially conceived at 9:40 this morning. Just what every parent wants to know.

Anhow, I just pray that I am pregnant, and if not, that my last embie lasts until Friday. God knows what is going to happen. So, I just have to have faith.

I do my Beta on Monday, June 23....though they said that I could hpt on June 21, since that is supposed to be my beta, but nowhere will draw blood on a Saturday. So.....

Have laid in bed the whole day. Sweet dd keeps talking to my belly asking if her brother and sister are in there. So sweet.

If I figure out how to scan my pics in I will share them with you.

Okay enough babbling. Gonna go rest a little.

hrobinson: congrats on being PUPO!! An 8 cell and 4 cell is great!! So nice that DH is taking such good care of you!

I don't have good news. My HPT is still negative, so I know what tomorrow will bring. I was careful to buy the sensitive HPT's (25 mIU). It's funny because I really thought this was going to work. I guess since it has worked in the past. I know I am so fortunate, but I wanted this soooo bad. And then, to rub salt in the wound, I just got the $4500 bill for the FET procedure. :(
Well, dh and I have 8 3 day frozen embies left. The RE said that would be good for 1 more try. However, this will be our very last try as dh doesn't want me to do a fresh cycle again....Pray that it works for us. I am thinking maybe August??
Thanks for being so special! I will keep up with you wonderful girls and hope for lots of BFP's!!!

hotflash, I'd love to hear an update when you're ready. Did you have ER?

laura, glad to hear you had a party 3 days after your transfer. Sometimes is feels like the world should stop for the days before and after the transfer. Of course, that is not possible. I'm glad to hear there are other women who plan stuff -- life must go on.

Kimmy, happy 10 year anniversary to you. I'm sorry about your negative HPTs. I know it's hard to take. You're in my thoughts!

hrobninson, happy 10 year anniversary to you, too. Glad everything turned out ok. It only takes one. Congratulations on being PUPO!

Me...
I must admit, I have not been keeping up with the boards lately. I'm trying to plan a little birthday party for DD, a going away party for all of us. We're trying to get a fence installed in our new house. I finally hired movers so that's done. It just seems there's a million things to do and I haven't really spent much time thinking about the upcoming FET. I do think about how much I'd love to have #2 though. And I'm still thinking about all of you!

Hi ladies:
I wanted to let you know that the POAS was correct..darn!!! I got a BFN!!!
I am going to jump right into another cycle, which would give me a transfer date around July 30. This is our last batch of frozen embies, so I am praying it works.

My RE wants to change protocol with my progesterone. Can you please let me know what type of progesterone you are using for FET??? They are suggesting that I use PIO, ugh!

Hugs to all!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Girls

A bit hopeless at staying away! Laura and Yellow - been wondering how your doing! Great to see your still on the thread and hope all going well with you.

Hello from me to all the new people on the board since last month too - its really great that the thread got busy!

Did a quick read up with you all, but will take a bit longer to catch up where everyone is at. I won't get the names right, but hugs to the recent BFN POAS and I have all my appendages crossed for the next beta testing.

Me am all good. Won't drag down the thread with any silly vibes or lots of details - but in short finally had the m/c at 11 wks last weekend. The DIY option turned out to be just about the worst thing I could have done! Ended up with two awful trips and long visits to the hospital and the whole thing ended up taking 4 days (and still not all sorted I don't think  )

Already feeling a little more upbeat now, and though DH and I agreed to wait until after winter finished to think about giving it another whirl (September here in NZ), I have itchy feet already - so quietly made my appointment with my re - you know "just to get things started and be prepared!". So thats next month, and in meantime lots of vitamins and early nights for me, coz feel like have been through the hedge backwards a few times!

Catch up in more detail soon

Best

Mel

Mel- so sorry to hear that the mc was awful. We have it so hard, and then to have to go through what you did. Big hugs to you and dh.
I am happy though that you made the "just getting started" appointment. sometimes it's easier just to jump back on the wagon. You and dh will be in our prayers.

Hey Mel~ happy to here you are still out there, so so sorry about your m/c. I can't even imagine what that is like. you and your family are in my prayers.

Kimmy ~ sorry about your bfn. You also are a very strong person for starting again right away. I don't know how you ladies do it!!

Hrobinson ~ congrats on your little embies you transferred! You never know what will happen, my fingers are crossed for you! PUPO!

Yellow ~ Stay busy! That keeps you mind off worrying about things. Sounds like your plate is pretty full! Moving and a party AND FET! Good lord!

laura ~ how are you doing, sweetie? have you gone mental on that lupron yet??

Me, well, I FINALLY stopped my meds and did my trigger shot last nite! Yipee! I go in for ER this Friday!!!!!! :D (Please, no one say anything about this friday's date, I can't think about superstition!! Then if anything goes wrong, i can blame it on the date!! )
Transfer will hopefully be Monday or Wednesday, depending on the little developing embies.
I am exhausted and bloated and I just want to sleep, but there is too much to do!

Beth- Again, good luck tomorrow!!!!!! Let us know how it goes!

Mel- Good to hear from you...I'm so very sorry for all you have been through...we are all here for support for you...You and your family continue to be in my thoughts and prayers.

Kim- So sorry about your bfn...It helped me too to get right going on my next FET after my bfn from my first FET...We're in the same boat- this time will be my last time too cuz these are our last frozen embies and I'm pretty sure we will not do another fresh cycle...For my last FET and for this one, I did the PIO shot 1 ml a day and also Crinone gel twice a day.

Yellow- How's your lupron going? I have an u/s and bw tomorrow to get started with estrogen and baby aspirin on Saturday hopefully... This time I'm crazy tired on this lupron... Sounds like you have been very busy. It was hard to plan my ds b-day party with the timing of my last FET but my in-laws helped out a lot that day and that made it easier. Good luck with everything.

hrobinson- How are you doing? You're PUPO!!!! That's so sweet about your dd talking to your belly- that can only help those embies stick!!! Hope you're surviving the 2ww...we're here for support...

Hotflash- How are you? Did you have your transfer yet??? Hope all is going well.

Yellow- You are like super mom...moving, planning a party, taking care of dd, putting up a fence, and juggling things with your upcoming FET. I am so amazed at women who do that much stuff.

Beth- So are you going through withdrawal not having to do meds? hehee
I hadn't even thought about tomorrow being "that" day. good luck and let us know how many they get.
