Looking for Answers

Hi All -

My husband and I have been through ICSI three times with the third time resulting in a BFP. I am now 81/2 weeks pregnant but on the day of the 8th week I started spotting. I have been having cramping on and off since day one of the transfer and still do.

Has anyone else had this and gone on to have a health pregnancy?

What kind of spotting is it? Are there clots? I have spotted a faint bloody discharge (TMI) every 3 or 4 days since transfer, I will be 9 weeks tomorrow. I do have occasional cramping...not really AF cramping but its hard to describe the sensation.
Have you notified your clinic? Usually they will bring you in for an u/s to confirm the baby is ok....I have seen lots of women here say they spot through the whole 1st trimester.
my RE said there are a lot of new blood vessels growing in the uterus and its very easy for one of them to spring a leak.

Thank you for responding. Yes I have notified my clinic but I live in a remote community and my clinic is two plane rides away. I have an appt this afternoon with my obgyn they managed to squeeze me in. Maybe because I was crying on the phone. The lady I spoke with wasn't very friendly or sympathetic.

The spotting is mostly light brown. On two occassions it was light pink. It is the cramping that concerns me more so.

We had an ultrasound last week and everything looked good. A strong heartbeat, baby in the right place.
