Hey Everyone, Sorry I have been missing lately. After my trip my Mom stayed for awhile. I just never seemed to have time to read. Anyway, I finally caught up today by reading 15 pages or so!! You guys have been so busy and had me on a mini emotional roller coaster. Happy, then sad, then happy …. Whew, I am tired now. :) Congrats to all you BFP’s. Hope everything is smooth sailing for you. For all you BFN I am so sorry  I wish you the best of luck for you.

As for me, I went in Monday and found out I have TWO cysts on my right side. One 34 and one 28. My lining was also still thick. I thought for sure they were going to cancel. Well, she said the cetrotide shot should fix me. I was supposed to start AF right away because of the shot, but nothing. Went back in on Wed. and still had my cysts though they did get a little smaller(32,25). My lining somehow was good even though I never really started. That was weird. But again I thought I would be cancelled . Talked to the nurse and she said that it would depend on my blood work. Got the call hours and hours later, it was a go.:D Turns out my estrogen was 23 which was good. They were going to start Lupron on Wed. but moved it to Fri to let the cysts get smaller. Whew, what a week. I was sure everything was going to be cancelled and everything went right. :) I guess maybe stress was holding AF back because I started on Thu. when it didn’t matter anymore

So I had lupron on Fri. and started stims today. Guess I am on the flare protocol with cetrotide. Anyone else use cetrotide? They are starting me off this time at 450 a day of Gonal F. I don’t go back in until Wed to see how things are going. Adsgirl, I think my ER is around 6/16, but have no idea really. I forgot to ask since I kept thinking I was going to be cancelled. Thanks for thinking of me. I am glad you get to go forward. Hope AF comes soon for you. ;)

JharrisOh, man, I am so sorry things didn’t work out for you this time. I really hope you guys can get the money soon so you can get back on this crazy roller coaster. I’ll be thinking of you.

Prawnster – Think you were asking about others whose ovaries are high. My left ovary is always hiding. When they did laparoscopic for ectopic he said my ovary was stuck high on my bowels  They always have such a hard time seeing it and it doesn’t seem to have many antral follies on it :( Hope everything works out for you.

Sdtrying - You are so funny with all your covert ops. I am glad everything is working out well for you. Hope your boards go smoothly. I was so stressed that I couldn’t concentrate this past month. I ended up dropping my classes so I could just focus on getting pregnant.

Hope everyone else is doing good.

LOL, guess I'll go do that now. I'm taking it easy....but I'm still cramping a bit :( I was cramping before the ET though, my ovaries are still really really sore and having a full bladder pressing on me this morning didn't help.

Indie - Congrats on entering the 2ww! Very excited for you, girl!

Turtles - Glad the cysts aren't slowing you down! My understanding is that as long they are not functional (i.e., as long as they are not secreting hormones and affecting your estrogen level), you can generally try to work around them. My RE said that when I go back for my day three appt, if the cyst is still there and is non-functional, she will drain it and we can move forward. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that those cysts don't complicate your cycle!

crwj, Queenie and Dakota - how are you all doing???

SDTrying, LB , RubyLee, ftg, Susivf1, ForMaggie- thinking of you often and so happy for all of you. Can't wait to be there with you posting a BFP!

It's been crappy, stormy weather here all weekend, and we have water in our basement and a river running through our backyard (never been there before!). The water is actually under our carpet in the basement...when you touch it, it looks like a waterbed with the waves rippling throughout the whole room. It's not good. :( Hope you're all having a better weekend than me!

Hi all! I am back form ER. I ended up with 5 eggs:( I am not going to fret as long as I get a good RF in the morning. We spoke with the emroyologst (msp) today and DH pitched a fit and insisted that we do at least 1 eggs with traditional instead of ICSI. I tried to explain to him that we only have 5 and with his male factor, he didnt care. He and his male ego! I dont feel so bad about it knowing the good report that Neffi got with 100% traditional & male factor.

I should knwo something by tomorrow morning...10ish.

How did it go queenie????

Dakota I'm glad they didn't really tell us what they were going to do to fertilize....we assumed ICSI but they did traditional and we got 5 out of 7. So I'm happy with that :) Still, I would have liked if they ICSI'd those last 2 :(

So you'll find out bright and early Monday how they are doing I suppose? Good luck....I can't wait to hear.

The lady that had ER on Saturday while I was having ET got 5, I overheard them talking when I was sitting there getting ready for my ET.

Dakota - I am so glad to hear all went well with your ER today...don't fret about 5...one of my friends going through this got 5 eggs too and they all fertilized!! :) Wishing you alllll the best..can't wait to hear some good news after your call tomorrow!

I had my ER today and have pretty much slept away most of the day...very sore and groggy...but that's ok, I have been letting DH clean house and take care of me today..haha..he's so good.. They retrieved 14 mature eggs at the ER...they will all be ICSI'd..I am so nervous and anxious for the fert report call tomorrow..hopefully they all fertilize, but i have also read things where they drop off and maybe only half or less successfully fertilize...so i guess we'll see...its out of my hands now...

Hope everyone else is doing well! Have a good night!

Hugs!

Queenie and Dakota-- congrats on making through ER! Cant wait to hear your Fert report tomorrow!

As for me, I am not on bedrest today, but I still took it easy today. It was 94 degrees here today so I went to a friends pool and then went to my cousins graduation party. I really don't want o go back to work tomorrow! I know this week is going to be forever! The 2ww is long, but at the same time, I love the feeling of knowing I could be pregnant!

Hello to all the girls ! I can't help but crash the thread. I read about all of you everyday and just want to encourage you!

Dakota: 5 is great ! They're probably top quality anyway and you'll have good embies ! Can't wait to hear your next report. I had 2 and transferred 2 blasts and they were top quality. We did ICSI as well. You'll be fine. :D

[/b]Queenie: You're doing terrific as well ! Wishing you the best for tomorrow...lots of fertilized eggs that just keep on growing and growing and growing....

Neffi:PUPO ! This is going to be your time. Thinking about you and sending you lots of good vibes!

Indie: 5 embies waiting for you that can't wait to come home. I was emotional just thinking that those few miraculous cells in a petrie dish were my babies, never imagined I'd feel that way and I couldn't wait for them to make the journey back home! Wishing you the best !!

SDtrying: Well !! what can I say? You already know everything is just fine and perhaps you sneaked in the hospital at night this weekend, talked one of the nurse in doing another covert US, got your flashlights out trying to find the right room  ...a bit like a secret operation out of a Bond's movie. This movie is taking shape in my head as we go along...and since I'm on the sidelines observing all of you...I take lots of great notes.
Anyway, can't wait to hear your "official" results tomorrow !

ForMaggie: Hang in there girl, you have a fighter and I can't wait to hear more great news from you! Keep your PMA.

Turtles: Good luck with the stimms, I hope all goes well for you during the next few days...sending destroyers vibes to your couple little cysts, they just don't need to hang around...the party is OVER for them !

Good luck to all of you and I'll check in on all of you tomorrow.

Hugs,

Valerie
