Gee Susan that rally does suck I don't have much more advise than what Jomae has given you. Give yourself time to think your next steps through but do keep trying!!! We have all hated getting the bfn but most of us have got there in the end. It took me four cycles to get a bfp but with the help of the girls here I got there!! We will all be here for you if you decided to do another cycle.

I just send my man back to work this morning. Ha Ha ha what a typical boy very funny. How longs hubby gone for long enough to get some sanity so how far are you now 10 11 weeks are you still crook or feeling good now. i'm half way today actually two weeks over if i have to have that ceasar. i brought ds a little wooden guitar yesterday and do you think i can ply it from his hands he slept with it for his nap yesterday and of course last night and this morning he's eating his breakfast but keeping one hand firmly on his guitar no matter how hard it is to eat he's so damn cute some times he even gets down on one knee and plays and then lays on his back and moves in circles as he tries to sing its a sight to see.
anyway all is good here do you think you'll have anymore babies after this one or is that it
Haha yea they are very cute at that age!! Yo have started something now!! DS starting learning the drums and guitar a few years ago so we had to buy him some drums and guitar. The guitar I can handle but the drums OMG!!
Dh is only away for two weeks this time. No more after this the shop is shut, two is enough for me I think. What about you?

He is a excavator operator and does some blasting too. He does 2 & 1 and 5 and 1 shifts.
Yea that helps when you already have all your baby gear ready to go. No I'm not gana find out I like to have a surprise after all that work!!! it would be easier buying clothes when you know what you are having.

Good morning ladies. Thanks for all of your good wishes last week - i really appreciated them. I was pretty down on the first day however after that seemed to accept the outcome of my first IVF session and like Jomae suggested have decided to use it as a "trial run". I know so many of you have had to wait alot longer to get your BFP but eventually did - so am using that as some motivation. I ended up trying the counselling options offer by my clinic and i have to say i thought it was pretty good and quite encouraging hence if any of you are in the same boat - i can recommend it!

Just wanted to share our news with you all! We had a big (4kg!), beautiful, healthy baby girl last week - 5 days past her due date. Her name is Gabrielle and she is adorable.
Thanks to all the wonderful ladies on this thread who were there for me through the highs and lows of this fertility rollercoaster ride - it made such a difference to have others there for support and encouragement along the way.
I guess girls are the order of the day here- with Jomae, Em and now me. Will be interesting to see what you have Kery. Sorry to hear that it wasn't to be for you this time Susan- hang in there and your time will be here before you know it. Tiger, hope you are well and enjoying Sydney.

Susan I am glad to hear you are feeling a bit better. It is always a blow when you don't get the BFP you are wishing for. I think after every time it failed I said "that's it no more I've had enough". Then after a while I knew that I would get back on the rollercoster and try again. I can't wait to hear when you get a BFP and you will!!!

Hey Kery 4kg is over 7pound i think probably 8 pound something i think if i remember correctly DS was 3530grams which was 7 pound 12. Kery take a look at the chinese calander it was correct for what i am having aswell as my sisters and my previous pregnancy even for a bit of fun
Susan i'm glad to see your posting and feeling more positive about what to do next. i'm glad the councilling helped aswell have you got any plans set to start again soon or are you taking a break. yep my ivf doctor said i have no option but to have a ceasar as i needed an emergancy ceasar with ds i laboured for 14 hours and only dialated one centimeter
As for me i had my hospital appointment today they've organized to get a copy of my pregnancy and birth from the hospital ds was born at apparently my sister over heard the midwife saying that i would never be able to give birth naturally and seeing i'm meeting with the doctor in four weeks to discuss my options and what i think i may want to do i want him to be fully informed as to what exactly happened and if it's likely to happen again. from what i can remember i was carrying etremely high and the midwives had trouble finding my cervix something about it turning or something which would explain why i only had pain in my lower back and no where else. anyway hopefully getting her notes should help clear up exaclty what happen and what can happen now. mind you i'm such a chicken and am tossing which is the lesser evil pain from the ceasar afterwards or feeling like i've been ripped apart through a natural birth
Did you have another ultrasound at your visit? I am hearing you about the natural birth thing. I think it's far over rated!! I laboured for 20 hrs then found out ds hadn't dropped down so they used forceps to pull him out. His head was black and blue with cuts to both ear. He spent a week in the baby unit recovering. During labour I was only allowed gas. If I had it my way I would have a ceasar this time. I know that it takes longer to recover but I would rather have that than the labor!!!! I guess in four weeks you will have a better idea of what is going to happen. I will look into the chinese calandar!!

No not this time Kery my 2nd ultrasound to check bubs heart is next tuesday. you should be nearly due for your first hospital appointmant have you registered yet.
Ozstock - congratulations!!!! That is just wonderful news....but hooley dooley 4kgs is a big one ...but also a healthy one so well done. I hope everything is starting to settle in well for you. I love your choice of name as well.
I'm back to FS next week to discuss round 2 and challenge him re a few things he told me last time we met ie ......"it will work for us first time given our history"...not! Hopefully will be back on the horse next cycle although i have to say i'm not looking forward to it.

Good on you Susan!!! Get back on the horse girl!! I know it's hard starting all over again. It kinda like child birth it's worse the 2nd time around cause you know what you are in for!!!!

Yep I've seen a OB so thats all go. Gosh when I had my DH we just saw any midwife once a month then turned up to the hospital and whoever was on duty delivered your baby gee hasn't things changed!! I was in the emergency doctors yesterday. My blood work came back and they rang me to come in and have a ECG (heart monitor). My tyroid levels had dropped so far that they were concerned about my heart. Anyway it came back ok so that was a relief One drama after another.

Kery my goodness lucky it turned out to be nothing. did you mean your thyroid are they going to monitor you or something further. yep you do pretty much see any midwife and then see the doctor for your last visit to see where your at i'm only getting to see the doctor because of the ceasar or not thing and i'm high risk because i had to have one previously so theres nothing extra special happening here.
