So I went today for US an BW and retrevial is on MONDAY!!

My DH gave me the HcG Shoot tonight... that HURT!!!! My transfer will be on Thursday!!

Hope everyone has a good weekend!! Hotflash are you Monday too?

Couple of weeks away from that strong BFP...

Since my estrogen level is bit too high for menstrual cycle @ 57, we may have to call off this cycle and try next month. Tomorrow I have been called again for bloodwork and u/s, I will get to know the final outcome tomorrow.

Whatever is the case, I still will be attached with this board.

As far as I remember, you also would be triggering today and would be ready to lay your eggs tomorrow. All the best wishes for the same and prayers for a healthy fertilization too.

Hi everyone! I am new to the board and wanted to first tell all of you good luck and I wish you all the very best results!!!! This is my first IVF, we have male factor and bypassed everything else and went straight to IVF . We will also have ICSI. I just finished my BCP today , have been taking LUPRON since June 2 , and will start stims on Wednesday the 11th. Approx. retrieval is the 25th. I am so scared and so excited for the possibility

For any of you that have started stims, are all the shots bad??? The Lupron hasn't been that bad, I have one little bruise after a week of shots.....funny that the right side of my stomach never hurts (knock on wood

) but the left side hurts alot alot and I can't figure out why????? Anyways, i am scared to have to add shots everyday. i will be on menupur and the follistim pen. I also realized today my trigger shot is Ovridrel (sp?) and is sub Q so I don't have that huge needle everyone talks about...it is about the same as the other needles.

How about everyone else? Scared of the shots? Retrieval? Implantation?

Tarabeltwo and brit 1612, I started stimming on Friday and have had some cramping but not really that bad. I also had some headache issues but today that has finally gone away. I'm glad to see others are experiencing similar issues.

Hotflash, I'm glad your doctor gave you some meds, I hope they're helping and I'm glad you got some rest, I hope you can go in soon.

Bella123, welcome to the board. I am new here as well. We also have male infertility and bypassed everything going right to IVF, we're having ICSI too. I'm a little ahead of you though, I started Lupron on May 29 and my stimming shot, Gonal F this past Friday, June 6. I've had minor bruising with the Lupron shots. My Gonal F stimming shot isn't that bad but we're using a pen type shot which I don't really like because it seems like the shot stays in you longer, but I think I just have to get used to it. I was really freaked out about the Lupron shots at first too but now I'm used to it and it's no big deal, after a few more days of the Gonal F shot I'm sure it will be the same way. My trigger shot is HCG.

I have the same strange stomach issue too, it hurts the left side of my stomach more to get shots than the right side, I have no idea why. Very strange. Anyway, welcome to the board.

Stims are Wednesday so you and I are pretty close to the same schedule ...good luck to you during your stims. I am sure eventually the pen will get easier

I know that left side stomach thing is strange, but it never fails , right side is fine left side hurts..hahahaha who knows

For me I am just waiting for my appointment on the 18th to find out when I start stims. I know it will be here before I know it but sometimes time seems to be going by real slow. Hope everyone has a good week.

Hi, I am doing microflare IVF this cycle, I was on BCP last 25 days, till yesterday. I went in for my baseline u/s today and my nurse instructed me to start lurpon on June 12 followed by puregon on June 14th and continue both till June 20, whether I get my AF or not. Isn't that strange? did this ever happen to any of you? were you ever asked to start stimming regardless of AF?

Hello to all Thanks so much for all the happy thoughts and good wishes. So my retreival went well I am sore though. They retrevied 12 eggs, is that good? I know I only need that 1 for the BFP!!! We will know something tomorrow about how well fertilization went... so EXCITED!!!! Again much love for all the good wishes!!! Praying for a BFP!!!

I am so happy to hear it all went well!!!!! I think 12 is great. I think anywhere from 8-15 is good. So you are sore huh? Does it feel like your AF cramps or worse? I am so happy it went well and good luck tomorrow hearing your first report! Let us all know!

Hi ladies,

I have been MIA for a while as I worked (4) 12 hour nights. I began my stim meds Bravelle/Repronex on Sat June 7th. Anyone else on this combo? I have pcos so things are a little different for me, I am told. Anyway all is going fine, the injections sting much more than the Lupron and I have a big red spot from my first one. I have an US/BW scheduled for this Thursday and then ER next week. Wow this is going fast! Anyone else feel that way. It took so long to get to this point but it has already been 2 weeks doing injections.
