Wow...I go away for a bit and its full! Way to go everyone on your great news = stims, ferts, tests, etc. Keep up all the great attitudes and support. I think it all rolls into outcomes no matter what.

Going to that question about stims...I looked back and I stimmed for 11 days (with huge bloated ovaries) and finally triggered on day 12 before ER on day 14. Kind of funny... 14 eggs on day 14!

Awaiting my 2nd beta today as they also did a thyroid check (I've been falling asleep in the middle of the day) and this takes longer to get back results. I have never had any thyroid problems.

JHarris - Have I stayed away from POAS??? Ummmm..........ummmmm........ummmm..........ok, ok.......I broke down and did it.......I POAS!!! You got me!!! I know I said I wasn't going to do it and I was doing really good, but what had happened wuz.......I had an old HPT sitting in the drawer. So, I decided I might as well go ahead and use it so I can get rid of it. So, yesterday morning I used it and got a faint BFP. But, when I went to throw it in the trash, I noticed the expiration date on the box was Mar 08. That made me curious as to whether the test was outdated. So, curiousity made me go buy another kit (yes, curiousity made me do it). So, I tested with the new HPT this morning and got a strong BFP. But, I don't want to get my hopes up. I won't feel better until I get my beta on Thur. Until then, I have 2 more sticks with this HPT.....I'll just test again tomorrow and Wed. Well, someone's got to use them.......right???

Well my beta is ony 55 but they said it is fine (anything over 20 was good)and they will see me in 2 days. I am kinda freaking out now!!!

You girls are the best!!! I do not post much these days since I have been preparing myself for another BFN and low and behold that is when I get the BFP...i just hope my nmbers keep rising!!!

Ads-I stimmed for 13 days and then triggered also on day 13!

smattison-that's awesome! Many start out with lower #'s and rise just as they should. What day post-transfer are you?

imblessed-I think it sounds like we need to add another bfp to the board!!

My beta today was 255, so #3 is requested for Weds which she told me is common, and at the same time suggested I make my 7 wk U/S appt for end of month. My thyroid checks in at 2.5. High is 4, normal is 2.3. They said it may clear up on its own, but will watch it. Has anyone else experienced changes in thyroid?

I'm feeling very calm, positive and will continue to think all the good thoughts about what the coming weeks and months will bring us!

Smattison - CONGRATS!!! My RE doesn't do the first beta until 14dpt, so I'm sure by the time you reach day 14, you're numbers will be up there. Don't stress it, you'll be fine.

FTG - Your numbers are rising......that's great! I don't know anything about the thyroid issue. Hopefully, it'll get better soon.

Smattison-- thats an early beta.....that number is just fine! think by wed it will probably be over 100! I think most betas are 11-14 days after transfer.

Ftg-- congrats! They went up! Thats all that matters!

Ads-- I stimmed for 7 days Trigger day 8 ER day 10

So there is just so much going on here these next couple of weeks! I am now 3dp5dt and I feel totally normal. I dont have any symptoms fromthe PIO shots either? But I'm getting that checked tomorrow, so we'll see. Last time I had bad heart burn. Anyway, I still am feeling very positive. This week is going to go very slow. I still can not decide when too POAS...yes thats WHEN not IF!!! hahaha....I am going to the beach this weekend, usually I'd say that I would do it Friday or Saturday, but I dont want to do it there, so I guess I'll wait til I get home on Sunday night. I don't know if I can wait that long. But I would like to call DH on Fathers day with good news. DH is driving cross country with his brother the week of my beta! I was not happy, but couldn't let him pass up the chance! Anyway......hope everyone had a good Monday!

What a crazy busy day for you girls...took me a while to read up on you. you are all doing fantastic and I'm thrilled for you.

Dakota: Great fertilization report!! 100%... I think you are well on your way. Congrats. Can't wait to hear about your embies!

Queenie: great report for you too. You are all going to have so much fun together, similar testing dates and transfers...It's wonderful.

MzTia: 5 out of 5 for Dakota and 2 out of 2 for me ! So hang in there because it's quality not quantity that counts! It's weird because I never doubted that they both would fertilize and they did. Keep your PMA. And you're only on day 5, I think the others have plenty of time to catch up. I gave my follies pep talks...they were a little hard of hearing I'll have to find another device so they can hear me better next time.

IMBlessed: Looks like a BFP to me ...if it's positive, it's definitely positive...YoooHooo!!

Smattison: I've got all my fingers and toes crossed for you...Congrats on your BFP...try not to worry, it's not best for baby.

Valerie- thanks for thinking of me and for keeping up with all of us. My ultrasound went really well I memorized all the details just so I could tell you gals the whole scoop!!

U/S report- my little bean is measuring 8.2mm Crown-Rump-Length, the ultrasound tech dated him/her at 6weeks4days (which is REALLY close to my real dates 6weeks5days) And most importantly there's a little flickering heart beat at 126 beats per minute. my little one stole my heart, you can make out its little head and its little bum (hopefully we'll lose the tail shortly!) if you stare really hard. I'm so in love with my little bean already, I can't believe its really happening. I went from feeling sorry for myself about infertility "why me" to feeling so grateful and lucky all in the matter weeks. This process is grueling and when it works it just feels so surreal.

Good morning everyone!
Just wanted to share the news that I got a BFP yesterday! My first beta was low , 13.4 but it's slowly going up....we're now at 80. I'm excited and hopeful but leary at the same time! Thank you to the ladies who commented me back...you kept me sane during the waiting period! =o)

SDTrying - Your U/S report is so exciting...it almost brought me to tears thinking about the joy you must have felt seeing that little guy on the screen. I am so so happy for you!

I'm going in today for an U/S and B/W. Hoping the cyst causes no issues. Has anyone else had to go in on day 2 instead of day 3? The first nurse I talked to seemed like it was no big deal...then yesterday when I was making the appointment, the nurse seemed very hesitant. She said my estrogen may not have gone down enough by day 2, and if it's not down enough, then I can't start stims. She said if that happened, I might go back Thursday for another check. I'm supposed to start stims tomorrow...so does that mean I wouldn't start? I wonder how big of a problem this is...and I'm really nervous about another canceled cycle. Keep your fingers crossed for me...and if anyone has any insight, I'd love to hear it. Thanks!

Adsgirl I didnt do my supression ck until CD 6, I've heard of all different days that it got done. Every clinic is differnt, but at least if on CD2 its not quite right they will redo on Thurs.

MzTia i, like you was analyzing every detail of the stimming. I got so stressed out!!! Just know that on day 5 your just getting started. You will be amazed at the change in your follies from day 5 to day 8. I think from day 5-6 I had two more measureable ones pop up. Once you reach day 5 they can start growing at 2mm per day!!

The nurse called and she scheduled me for tomorrow at 11am, BUT we wont know until tomorrow around 9:45am if we'll do the 3dt or 5dt. She said that they dont bother the embies today so I wont know until tomorrow morning if they all made it, or if they are doing good enough for a 5 day. So another day of worry!! Not to mention if they decide on a 5dt, if they will make it to 5 days!!! Another IVF hurdle!!!

You should have seen DH trying to give me the PIO last night. I swear it took 45 mins. He was freaking out!! He had to put his head between his kness at one point, then he started getting chest pains and turned white. "what if I hirt a nerve and paralyz you", "what if I hit a vein and you bleed to death". I was cracking up laughing and the more I laughed the more he got upset. When he finally did it, he said "you have to rub your own butt, I got to go sit down!!" all while he was ghost white. Silly man
