Hi everyone,
I'm about to start my 6th ICSI and I am just looking for an opinion on using aspirin.
I would like to know if any of you found that it made a difference to your outcome.
I would really appreciate your opinion.
I didn't take asprin on any of my treatments as I didn't know about it. I found out about it just after I had my ET for the 3rd time. I was convinced it hadn't worked so I was going to take it the next time only I was wrong and mt 3rd attempt did work, now 19 weeks 5 days pg. Have you spoken to your clinic or doctor about it? For some people it is not advisable depending on some conditions. I do know that it has helped it to work for many people.
I wish you lots of luck for your 6th go. At this point I am sure you are willing to try anything.
maxi,
frist of all i agree with dagny, always check with your clinic as they
are the ones that know your medical history.
i think u will find from all the girls on this site who have had +itves
some took asprin and some did not.
my clinic suggested i take if after my first failed ici and sorry to
say it did not help on my 2nd and 3rd attempt.
i did not take it on my 4th attempt, i had a hair sample analysised
by Foresight (the assopc. for the promotion of pre-conceptional care)
and they gave me a supplement programme to follow and they
advised aganst taking asprin and i had a +itive.
good luck with you treatement.

Your always best to check with your clinic, what may suit one person may not suit another. I was advised by my clinic to take it and I did and I am pregnant. Its not saying this is why I got pregnant but everything is possible.
Good Luck.
