Xo'Phoeah-I had negative test 5days after my 3day transfer and the next day it was positive so don't give up. I also have terrible headaches since late Sunday night 2 days after my transfer so the headaches might be a good thing. I will be praying for you. We are in the same situation can not afford to do this again for a while if it did not work out. So keep your head up

crescendo97,
Thank you for the kind words. I'm feeling a little more positive today. The headache is gone and I don't have any cramps at the moment. I think I'm just terrified that this won't work.

I was going to test this morning but decided I couldn't stand to see another negative. I'll test tomorrow (the day before my beta).

Hey Irishhope - Congratulations!!!!!!!!!
Can't wait to see what your beta number is!
hope the OHSS starts to get better soon, must be v scary, but so worth it!

Congrats on all the BFPs and keep them coming!

Good luck and baby dust to all others in the 2WW - stick!!

I got AF yesterday, sooo heavy after all the meds I expect, tons of cramps, (sorry TMI) - so am going to be going for first ultrasound and bloodwork Monday to see if can go ahead and start stimming again. Doing a short stim cycle again if poss. due to my insurance finishing for IVF very soon. Hopefully this one gets me on the BFP train with you all! :)

So, anyone else peeing on sticks like a mad woman? And for those of you who have gotten positive betas, when was the first time you got a positive pee-test? I'm just wondering if I should give up getting a positive test on Monday or if there's still hope.

Xo'Phoeah - I got a + HPT 10 days after transfer BUT my doc had already called to confirm since I had blood drwan due to my OHSS...everyone's body depletes HCG differently so I think while I could get a + on day 10 someone else may get one day 12 or day 9...Goodluck - don't give up hope...there is always reason to hope until you know for sure!

Hope everyone's 2ww is flying by - I was lucky I guess mine was cut short by 5 days but this OHSS is for the birds!! Hoping I've drank enough to keep my level down - will know tomorrow if I have to be admitted or not...not sure how I am going to function at work feeling like this but maybe it will subside by then...

I'm in the 2WW and scared and ? about lifting 25 lbs

Post by kateandlulu »

Hi everyone. I'm also in the 2WW. All went well (well, as well as can be expected with a high FSH--I only had one embryo to transfer but the doctor said it was a really good quality). Anyway, my main concern is that I've had to pick up/carry my 3 year old a few times in the past few days. My instructions said not to lift more than 25 pounds--she's almost 30 pounds! What do you think? Could I have hurt my chances because of this??

I am 5dp3dt and was hoping that I could join this board. This 2ww is terrible! It seems like it is taking forever and I am not even close to my test date. Congats on all the positives!!!

Crescendo- That number is great! It sounds like you might have more than one in there.
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

Crescendo- Congratulations. That is an outstanding number. I forget...did you POAS before today? How many did you put in?

Brit- Welcome to our board. When is your test date? Is this your first IVF? The 2ww is horrible and the and the sad thing is if you are anything like me, I analyze every singel thing that I am feeling. I am currently 9dp3dt and feeling very optimistic. I am having several symptoms, however, as I told my dear sister, all the symptoms are also progesterone side effects.
I do my beta on the 23. Seems so far away.
