Karen No, my Beta isn't until Wednesday. So lets see....40 by Sunday, 80 by Tuesday and somewhere around 90-100 on Wednesday.....oh that's more like it LOL My husband just keeps looking at me funny like I'm having twins or triplets LOL So my BETA might be lower than yours .....so I'll try to relay the relief to him LOL that it doesn't double every 24 but more around 48. Thanks for letting me know!!!

Indie - I've seen a lot of women say they have hot flashes when BFP, so that's probably a good sign. Also great that you got another line this morning, this is it!! :)

Angram Thanks :)....glad it's normal. My nurse told me that Progesterone made your body temperature rise....but I didn't ask about hot flashes.

Good luck tomorrow :)....are you excited!!!???

Indie - I'm so excited and very nervous. I'm trying my best to keep the PMA and know that I have no control over what happens, but I'm praying like crazy :) My E2 is so much better this time around, so I'm hoping my eggs are better quality than the last cycle and they're in the mood to party with the boys tomorrow :)

Hope you ladies have had a wonderful Saturday so far!

Ladies I just wanted to say that I think it's over for me. Yesterday's line got darker but then this morning I took 2 of the test strips and 1 of the FRER and all 3 were stark NEGATIVE!!! I'm having those hot flashes like I do before I start (first thing of the morning), as well as some AF type cramps. I'm also a bit bloated, so again....all signs that AF is going to show. Sadly the cold, fever, cough, constipation, the fact that I didn't do bedrest? Everything combined in to one and the little embryo just didn't make it :(

I'm sick....just sick. I have cried and cried and I just don't want to move....this is the most horrible feeling ever. The drive to the RE on Wednesday is going to be the most depressing thing I've had to do in a long time.

Anyhow, thank you all for praying for me. I just don't understand why God would let me see 2 positives and then take it all away from me :( but women go through this all the time and they get over it so maybe I will recover soon too :)

Thanks again!

Oh Indie...I'm so sorry you're discouraged right now, but maybe those tests were wrong, inaccurate, bad, something! Please don't give up all hope and hang in there. It must be really hard that they were +, then went to -...have you posted on the general forum to see if that happened to anyone before? I am most certainly praying for you and expecting a mircale. NOTHING is impossible with God- don't forget that.

Angram...I bet you're on your way to ET...thinking of and praying for you too.

Rebecca Thank you :) I pray that the FRER was wrong too, but sadly the more realistic outcome is that my test strips were wrong and giving me false positives :( I tested using 2 of those this morning as well and both negative with the FRER....I was shocked! What happened to the HCG!!!! I went back to bed after putting in my progesterone and after sleeping another 3 hours I got up and yep....POAS again. I got a faint positive again on the test strip so I got out 2 more and tested one in water and one in my husbands urine....yes I'm embarrassed that I've sunk that low LOL, but I wanted to check those darn strips out. Well, again mine had a faint positive, his was negative (thank goodness he's not pregnant LOL) and the water one was negative as well. So I don't know what's going on....it's all so confusing at this point. I want to believe that the test strips are right, but the FRER has been shown to consistently detect HCG as low as 12.5iu....so I can't imagine it being wrong.

It's going to be a long 2 days till Wednesday....I know that much. And what's even sadder is the whole time we've both agreed that this is our one and only shot, we didn't have any frozen embryo's and we used all our money on this study cycle. But I find myself trying to figure out how I'll ever get over not having a baby....but I can't put myself through this again, financially or emotionally :(

I wish I knew someone who worked in a lab and could run a Beta on me earlier than Wednesday LOL

That's so weird that you did get another faint positive and DH and water did not....hmmmmm....very confusing and agonizing as you wait and wonder. Do you havae another First Response...they're new right? Will you do it tomorrow? Oh gosh I wish I could do something for you. I'm still believing...hang in there. You could always go to a local clinic/doctor's office and have them run a beta??

PS-your ingenuity and resourcefulness shine thorugh...testing water and DH pee----genius! :)

Indie-You are still getting +'s so you are still preg. The FRER's didn't give me good lines at all in the beginning. Answer tests & $ tree did. Can you get a different test? I am praying for you too. Can you call your personal doc and get a blood test? This is enough to drive you crazy. Stay positive! Prayers coming your way! (HUGS)

Angram- Hope all went well today!

Thank you again Becca, Karen and Stress :)

Sorry you're sick Stress....that's no fun :(

Becca: yes....genius except husband thought I was crazy LOL asking for his pee. I will not take the other FRER until Wednesday morning before driving to the RE's office. I have 4-5 of the test strips left and I may pick up a cheapo test as well....but maybe I'll just use the strips through Tuesday. I really am just so nervous now....this is heartwrenching and I even went to the RE's website to check out their success rates. Seems 2 out of 3 patients get pregnant in my age range. I know that Karen was successful and a girl from another board that goes there was successful so maybe I'm that 1 negative :( It's awful to think that way...but not everyone can get a positive sadly, just praying that we still have atleast one little embryo hanging on.

Karen: Thanks for sharing your experience with the FRER....I read and read that they were the most sensitive...but now I HATE them LOL I want to believe that it could be wrong (which I did check and my test are actually the new ones, so they don't always show the darkest lines even at 25iu, the older ones picked it up at 12.5). Anyhow....praying that there still is a chance and the Beta is different. I thought about going to a local doctor but then again, I didn't want to be the crazy lady trying to explain to them why I wanted this test...etc. I guess I could call my Gyne/OB but again...if it came back positive I'd have to say that I couldn't come back and see them for 8-9 more weeks LOL

Uggghh, I hate waiting till Wednesday.

Indie - Keep the PMA and don't stress that little one out, he/she needs you right now. I cannot imagine you not being pregnant, if you've seen a positive so many times. Keep the faith that this time worked, and try not to read into every sign your body is giving right now...remember how much all the meds mess with your body/head. This IS YOUR TIME, just remember that. I'm sending big hugs your way and know we're all here for you :) BTW, you're cracking me up with testing DH's urine, I'm also happy to hear he came back negative

Stress - Sorry to hear you're not feeling well, hopefully this will pass soon.

Karen/Beccatx - Good to hear from you ladies, hope all is well and you're both feeling great.

Well I finally drug myself out of bed today, I think the percocet they gave me for cramping at the hospital made me incredibly dizzy and nauseous. Well, they got 11 eggs this morning!! :) I guess one of them was hiding during all of my u/s, so that was great news. Based on my E2, they're probably not all mature, but it's way better than the 5 we had last time! Only 2 fertilized last time around, so the embryologist and RE suggested ICSI. They said DH's boys are 'rock stars' :), but they're hoping doing ICSI will be better for my eggs. Anyhoo, I'll go in tomorow for the randomization and also get the fert report, so I'm hoping for great news.
RE will probably do a 3dt, so we're planning on ET this Wednesday...I'm so damn excited :D :D

Hope everyone is having a great weekend, and Indie, keep your chin up and stay positive! That little one inside of you is holding up their end of the deal by sticking, so you keep the PMA.

Hello all... I wanted to send a quick update following our ultrasound today. They have confirmed that there are only 2 babies, but they are Identical Twins. I can hardly believe it. There were in fact 3 babies, but we apparently lost the 3rd in the last few days. What's really crazy is that they were identical triplets to begin with, which from what my RE says, is quite rare. He actually mentioned that he would be writing up our case because of its' rare outcome. The 3 babies were in the same gestational sac, but within their own amniotic sacs, which is good. It's a weird thing to process... One one hand we are very happy that there are only 2 babies, but then feel guilty for being happy there are only 2. Knowing that there was a 3rd with a heartbeat at one time is also saddening at the same time. Just a weird mix of emotions. Bottom line is that we have 2 healthy babies, their heartrates were 163/165 and measured 12.9mm/13.1 mm.

Indie, hang in there... You never know what God has in store for you. Make sure you stay on your progesterone supplementation until your beta for sure. And if it is any consolation, I experienced all of the symptoms of AF as well and they were just symptoms of early pregnancy.

Stressbal, I sympathize... I have been nauseous for the last two weeks and finally threw up for the first time this morning. Lucky me... I hope it gets better for both of us.

Angram, congrats on your retrieval. Best of luck for lots of fertilized embies.

Have a great week everyone!

Angram congrates....what a good news....pray that all fertilize and grow strong...

Indie: I know that you must be feeling very low at this time......this whole confusion is worst than 2ww....dont lose hope....so many test trips cannot be wrong.....and mind you some clinics use these strips too just becoz they are sensitive....
