They consider it a biopsy and it is literally 5 minutes, BUT a painful 5 minutes in my opinion... Yes, at this point I would drink dragons blood if I thought that it would help.

Went for transfer today it was such a nice experience. They transfered 2 and we froze 7. Very excited, I am on bed rest now so I will check in later going to get some rest for now.

Chrissy-Congrats! Everything sounds great. That is great that you got to freeze 7. I go in for transfer tomorrow, hopefully mine will go as well as yours. Good luck with everything and keep us informed.

Thanks! You're right no big deal to wait 1 more day and it turned out even better than they thought. When I went in today for US the 2 that they wanted to get mature did and they think they saw 3 more so I am looking at a total of about 15. Yee Ha

On the day of my ET I have to start Progesterone shots until pregnancy test, if positive I have to do them for 8 more weeks. Does anyone else do this step?

I do my HCG shot tonight. Mom is coming over to do that one. She used to be a nurse so she is going to show DH how to do them then he will have to do progesterone from Saturday on.

Hi ladies! Today I went in for my U/S and B/W to check on how the stimming is going. It has been 5 day since I began my injections of Repronex/Bravelle. Last night around 9pm I began to feel really crampy and heavy, like AF was coming. I was pretty nervous as to what my results were today. As soon as he started the ultrasound I saw the follicles!! Lots of them! I met with the Dr. and he said he wanted my E2 level to be around 150-200 at this time, my results came back 578!!! Now I am nervous about OHSS! They clinic was pretty excited and said that number was great, I sure hope so. I have another U/S and B/W on Saturday, we will see what happens. What has everyone elses E2 been? I am so scared they will cancel this cycle if it is too high.

wishfull27: that is great we are on the same rotation. I too am scheduled for tentative ER on the 16th.

Hope everyone is doing good. My battery on my laptop is about to run out so i just thou"ght I would pop in and say "HI". Hopefully, this time next week I will start my Follistim to get things going. I feel like this is taking forever. I will post some personals later on once I find my power cord. I hope everyone has a good weekend.

Just wanted to see how everyone was doing...it sounds like everyone is progressing through

I too have started my stims, 6-11 and things are going ok. The lupron in the morning has become my "favorite" shot hehe never thought I would ever have a favorite. The menopur and follistim pen both hurt afterwards for at least a day or two so that hasn't been fun. Other then that, things are going pretty well. Tonight will be day 4 of stims. I had US and BW today , they saw 12 follicles on one side and nine on the other and I think the PA said under 10? I am guessing that means that is their size.

Jcurlygirl - My E2 baseline was <20 then the second day into stims my E2 was 99.1. i am curious to see what they say when they call today. My ER dropped follistim once already from 150 to 125. My RE did make a comment today that I look like I am "going to take nicely" to the meds.

That was a nice thing to hear! I will let you know what my E2 is today...try not to worry I am sure everything is ok

Tarabeltwo - goodl luck with your retrieval I am sure it will be great!!!!!Let us know how you are doing ....

Hey Guys, I would like to join your board. I am in the May/June but many of you are on the same schedule as me. So I would like to be on both boards.
A little about me. I have been ttc for 4 years now. Last year we tried 3 IUI’s after I had my left tube removed because of scarring. I attempted my first IVF in Feb. and after 1 month of bcp and 1 week of shots I had a horrible night of pain. Turned out I had an ectopic preg. and they had to remove my last tube. So my second attempt for IVF was in May had I had all the shots (60 of them) and was cancelled right before ER because I just wasn’t responding well with only 3 follies

So now I am in my third attempt to get to ER.

Right now I am on day 8 of stims. This cycle I am on the flare protocol. I had a cetrotide shot on 6/2. I started Lupron on 6/6 and GonalF on 6/7. I take 20 units of Lupron and 225 of GonalF twice a day. I seem to be responding a lot better this time. I went in today for u/s and they saw on the six between 11 and 17. And 4 under 9. Hope my E2 is a good number.

 jcurlygirl My E2 on day 5 was 224. I was very happy because last cycle it was only 39. I don’t think 500 is too high. You probably have a lot of follies. Did you ask how many you had and what size they were? I always ask now so I know what is going on. The more follies you have the higher the number. Good luck today.

Hi, all. I just started my second IVF cycle with stims last Wednesday. It looks like you're all on about the same timing, so I thought I'd join in.

My RE changed the protocol a lot this cycle to Lupron - Menopur - Follistim. Anyone know anything about the advantages/disadvantages of this combo?

I just wanted to let everyone know that I transfered 3- 8 celled embryos yesterday that the doc said were very good quality. I feel very optimistic and I hope eveyone else's cycle is going just as well.

Jcurlygirl- my E2 was over 1,300 at day 8. 500 seems to be pretty good.

Hope everyone is doing good and keep us updated.

WOOHOO

They called and my E2 was 774!!! That is a lot better than last time at 155. I am so happy. It is funny that my hormones are higher but I am not as emotional as last time. Makes my husband happier also

So I keep everything the same amount and go back in on Monday.

jcurlygirl how did your u/s and b/w go?

I am stimming with Lupron, Menopur and Gonal F and I did well with this combo last time when my 8 out of 13 eggies fertilised. I got BFP with those in the last FET cycle.

Hey turtle....hope you don't mind me calling you that...

Well done on that E2 level. Mine was also high in the menstrual cycle...@57 and we were about to cancel the cycle but then a day after it was back to normal @ 10...I am still wondering how?? Our hormones play with us all the time....
