I was told most embies implant on Day 6 or 7.....

So ladies I called RE to tell them I got a + HPT and they moved my beta to Monday......So one more day and then I will know if this is the real deal! I have had diarreha for three days, everyday the same time....sorry TMI....but I haven't eaten anything strange or abnormal for me? I dont know. I still have constant heartburn, but that could be from the PIO shots! I am so excited to be pregnant, but my ass is not to thrilled that I may have to do the PIO shots for another 6 weeks!!!

Hello Ladies

I got my fert report a few hours ago and it was awful. Out of 7 egs 2 were falling apart (they were no where near ready), 3 were mature and 2 not mature. Out of the 3 mature only 1 fertilized with ICSI. They will watch the other 2 they ICSI'D but said it is unlikely that will fertilize at all.

I feel I was stimulated way to fast and that is why my poor eggs didn't have a chance. I don't really know how the progress of the stim drugs work but if I try again I will prolly refuse the dosage they had me on this time. So it is a bad bad day and I really do not have much hope but we will see. Normal ovulation is only 1 so I can only hope.

MzTia-- I am so sorry that your day did not go as planned. Maybe your one embie will be a fighter! I also hope that your clinic listens to what you think went wrong and try something new next time if you need it.

Oh MzTia, sorry to hear your news - I am just praying that the one embie is extra special for you and pulls through. I take it this is your first cycle? I know on my first, I was stimmed too quickly and had to coast and then my eggs were of poor quality. They changed the protocol on the 2nd and my eggs were of much better quality and even though only two developed in to average grade embryos I got my 3yr old son Gabriel. I know it won't make you feel any better at the moment but sometimes it can be a trial on how your body reacts to it all. And sometimes there just is no logic to it all. I really hope it works and please keep us posted.

MzTia- sorry to here the news, but we'll all be keeping our fingers and toes crossed for your little embie. It definitely just takes one! We decided to just transfer one and it worked, I know the situation was a different- it was a choice, but still it was just one and it WORKED! So let's keep hope alive

prawnster- wow, sounds like you've got a lot coming up! It interesting that your clinic doesn't do betas. Do they do it, if you get a positive at home? How many days do you take HPTs?

Mztia: My heart goes out to you, I was so hoping you'd get a great report. Hang in there, try to stay positive as hard as it might sound and this one might be the one that makes it...
I agree that the first cycle is always a bit of an unknown as far as how your body reacts. We all hope for the best results on the first try and you just might get it. Keep us posted. Big hug for you.

Prawnster: Enjoy being PUPO ! Why don't they do a beta at you RE's office? How odd. Don't they want to know exactly how you're progressing. I guess each clinic is different. Best of luck.

Irish: How are you feeling? It seems that the worst might be over. I've heard that OHSS last about 2 weeks, but I'm sure everybody's different. The positive thing is that you're preggo. Hooray !

Hopeful: The numbers are going up, that's wonderful. You're in my thoughts and tell those embies to keep producing lots more hcg !

Dakota and Queenie: Patience patience day by day you will get to your beta. Take it easy and be spoiled!

<b>Adgirl</b> E2 of 128/178 on day 2 sounds great. Last cycle I was only 155 by <b>day 8!!</b> For side effects, I have also been having an upset stomach this time around. One day I brought a little garbage can in the car with me because I really felt like I was going to throw up. Last time I was also very blah and spacey, but not as much this time. It helps I think that I dropped both of my classes and am just focusing on getting pregnant. I am getting headaches, but I don't know if that is from the drugs or from being tense. I went to have a massage and she said I had some horrible knots in my upper back and neck Good luck tomorrow!!

I want to thank all for the good wishes. It really has been hard to stay positive but here is hoping for my one little embie to hang on.

Neffi thank you it is so good to hear that someone had success with only one transferred this gives me great hope.

Turtle I was on 300 units of follistim and 300 units of repronex due to my weight. The doctor was concerned I would not absorb the drugs I agree with him but in hindsite I believe it was way too much. On day 5 of stims Ihave 3 follies over 15 which seemed huge to me. So I only made it 7 days on stims.

Tonight is better, DH said we can try again if this does not work. It was a hard sell for the first attempt since we ahve to pay for everything out of pocket.

Ty all again I don't think I would have made it through the day without all of you.

Mztia-I am sorry to hear about your fert report. The same thing happened to me. I have 4 eggs but the eggs weren't mature and then one matured over night. It does only take one. We decided to not ICSI that one and try again next month.
I hope and pray that is works out for you. This process isn't perfect and the REs can only try their best and hope for the best! PMA!

hey Ladies

I took another HPT this morning and it was +. but it is still sooooo light! I'm just so worried that i am going to have another chemical pregnancy. Everything I have red says it doesn't matter how dark or light, so I guess I will just have to wait and see. I'm just worried, I don't want another chemical. I want this to be it! Pray for me, my worries will end tomorrow.

Well ladies what a difference a day makes. Looks like one of my non fertilized eggs decided it was so envious of the fertilized one that it decided to fertilize and divide over night. So now we have 2 embies HOORAY. The nurse said they have had very minor fragmentation and are both 2 cell on day 2. They grade them on a scale from 1-4( 4 being best) and both of mine are 3+. So tomorrow morning I get to have them back where they belong.

Neffi I believe a positive is a positive. Looking forward to hearing you BETA.

<b>MzTia</b> Yeah!! They are little fighters!! I am happy to hear the one decided to join the party and they got good grades 600 FSH does seem like a lot to start at. Last cycle I started at 150 then moved to 300 but didn't respond well. This time I have been at 450 the whole time. Keep the PMA. Good luck tomorrow!!
