MzTia - That is awesome news about your dark horse embie! Yay!!! So you are going in for ET tomorrow? Good luck!! I will be thinking of you!! Lots of sticky vibes, MzTia...remember...it's all about the PMA! Tomorrow...PUPO!!

I went in for a check today...the cyst has not really changed, and I had lots of follies! There were 5 that she measured on my right ovary (sharing space with the cyst) and about 8 or 10 on the left (she measured 7). There were 7 under 10 (6-9 range) and 5 over 10 (10-12 range). My E2 was 317 (is that good? This was after 4 days of stims. I am feeling a little better, but my stomach is still bothering me. A small price to pay! Also, it was only one night that my stim shot hurt like a MFB. I have kept with the right leg the last couple nights, and no big pain to speak of. The one night in my left leg...holy crap it hurt.

Looking forward to everyone's updates over the next couple of days. Hope you all had a great weekend!! Take care, ladies!

MzTia What a rollercoaster! You were on too many meds....I had the exact same thing happen. I had a few 15's at day 5 too and most of them were too big by the time ER came around, so only 3 eggs for me. 7 days is not enough stimming!!
I've decided to force the RE, no matter what protocol I'm on to do a bloodtest U/S on day 3 so they can slow me down if necessary. Day 5 is really too late to change it a lot.
Hopefully these 2 little fighters will hang on though...I'm rooting for you!!

Neffi Hang in...only one more day. A faint line is still a line, but I know the chemical is going to loom over my head too. Just keep your PMA.

Turtles Sounds like you're right on track...I'm really happy for you :)

You too Ads....woo hoo

Good morning Ladies

Valerie & SDtrying - No my clinic don't do Betas' even if I get a positive on the HPT. The next stage is a scan approx 2 - 3 weeks later to see if there is a viable pregnancy. I do the HPT 14 days after ET - and seeing as I will be in spain on hols then, I will be packing some HPT's in my suitcase! I don't know why they don't do Betas and I have never asked but too be honest I don't mind as I would rather not know (ignorance is bliss). I will worry obviously but also try and enjoy the moment (if it happens) and be really positive.

MZTia - I am so pleased to hear that you now have 2 embies to return. Good luck with your ET.

Neffi211 - I am dying to hear your Beta news, good luck.

As for me this 2ww is not too bad, I think about it probably only 90% of the day!!!! i had some really sharp pains low down in my abdomen yesterday and they took my breath away. Not sure what they were but i suppose could have been anything, prob just wind as usual!
I have got a busy day today and then back to work tomorrow which will be good as I will be really busy (last week prior to hols) and my mind will be occupied. I only work Tues, Weds & Fridays and then enjoy the other 2 days with Gabriel and all his activities Soccertots etc.

Well take care ladies

Louise

P.s We have had some sunny weather here in the UK, how bizarre is that...

I hope everyone had a great weekend and Happy Monday!

Neffi - I am so excited for you - I can't wait to hear your beta. I know this is the one - third time is definitely the charm!

MzTia - so happy your little ones hung on! Good luck with ET.

Emmy - what amazing numbers! I am excited to see how many are in there!

Prawnster - enjoy your holiday. I studied abroad in college in the south of Spain (Sevilla) and I love that country!

Irish - so glad your numbers are going up, but I am sorry to hear it is been so rough. Hopefully it is only going to get better from here!

Ads - seems like things are moving right along, that is great!

Hope everyone else is doing well - can't wait to hear all the good results this week!

Good morning ladies. Hope you had a great weekend! So much going on as usual!

Prawnster: That is the weirdest thing that your clinic doesn't do betas! I don't think anyone else has ever said that! But I hope you enjoy your trip, and get that BFP at the same time! At least you should stay busy enough to be distracted during the dreaded 2ww!

emmy: Congrats on those 3 little embies! Hope they are snuggling in and getting cozy!!

IrishHope: Glad those numbers are rising! That is always a good sign! Hopefully the rough part is over, and you get to enjoy being pregnant!

Ads: Your follie count sounds awesome! Glad that nasty cyst isn't interfering! And your E2 sounds great! I ended up with a NASTY bruise on my left leg after one of my stim shots, so I know what you mean. I hope they get easier!

turtles: I can't wait to hear about your upcoming ER!! I am still here pulling for you!!

MzTia!! That is GREAT that you had a new little embryo join it's sibling!! Good luck with your ET today!!

Neffi!! Another BFP on the way!! I can't wait to hear that beta today!! We are all pulling for you!

Everyone else, hope you are doing great, too! We went to the bank about our loan. We filled out the application, and we should hear from the loan officer today or tomorrow. It looks promising, so hopefully I will get to start BCP's with my July AF!!

I just posted a big long post and my internet shut down! Poop!!

neffi-cant wait to hear your beat today!

mztia- wow, thats fantastic, what a little fighter you have there! GL on your ET today.

adgirl- sorry your stims hurt, but hey, WTG on the follies!

irish- nice beta girl! congrats. i hope your feeling well.

prawnster- yeah about 90% of the time! I hear ya loud and clear!! sound like you could have had implantation yesterday!! How exciting!! Will you have access to internet on holiday?? I dont know if I can stand it to wait and her until you come back :D

jharris- hope all goes well and you get your loan!

Me, no signs. Nothing. Just the same cramps I had before I had the ET. I thought about testing on Sat yesterday, but I think I may do it on Thurs. What do ya'll think??? I'll be 6dp5dt, it will be pushing it, but I've seen some get the BPF on 6dp3dt. I am far from a patient person, but I have to keep telling myself, good things come to those who wait. Crap, I've waited since the year 2000, so I think thats long enough dont you??

Hope all is well and everyones follies are growing on schedule, the 2wwers little embies are snuggling right in there and the BPF's #'s are rising and rising!!

hey ladies--

I am going insane! It's 12:45 and no call yet! I don't think my stomach can handle this much longer! Don't these people understand that waiting for this call is torture!? Well I guess I'll know in the next couple hours....the longer I wait the less PMA I have!

Don't panic Neffi!!! Most people don't get the call until after about 2pm! That's when I got mine. So only about 1 more hour!! Keep that PMA up! You are about to get the BFP!! I just feel it!!

Dakota: Don't look for symptoms, because they can go either way! You will drive yourself crazy thinking about it. All pregnancy side effects come from the prgesterone and increased estrogen anyway, and you are dosing yourself up with that! I'm sure those little embies are getting cozy! I'm sure SD can tell you the best time to test. She's like the pro around here!!

jharris -I am glad you are still here. Hope you get good news from your bank. I will have to keep an eye on the Aug/Sept board for you.

neffi Hope the call with good news comes in soon.

Well things are looking good. I am waiting for instructions and possibly a day for ER. The nurse who did the u/s said they would probably push me one more day. Anyway, on the right they saw a 19, 16, 16,12, 10 and a few smaller. On the left 20, 16, 16. Looks like 16 is a common number today :) So I am thinking 6 are the right size. I don’t know if the smaller ones can catch up or not. I hope they call soon.

Hope everyone else is doing good today.

Hi Girls--

Neffi--I feel your pain! There is nothing worse than waiting for the nurse to call. Wishing you a sky-high beta! High beta! High beta! High beta! (Imagine I am chanting this in a sing-songy game show way!)

Rinnie--Given the overstimulation last cycle, I think you are wise to demand more frequent monitoring. I am REALLY pulling for you.

Dakota--I didn't have a ton of symptoms and frankly I was convinced that it didn't work. You may want to hold off on the HPT for a few days to ensure an accurate result. Good luck!

Prawnster (Louise)--If the 90% fixation is making you crazy, here is a sneaky alternative: Why not request a beta from your regular doctor before you tuck a rose behind your ear and head off to Spain? If it's positive, you can celebrate. If it's negative, you can pour yourself a tall sangria (I am HOPING you have a sangria-free holiday!). In the meantime, try to relax. Hold Gabriel tight and kiss his face until he squirms!

JHarris--I am glad you made the decision to move forward. I am envisioning a kindly bank officer (like George Bailey in It's a Wonderful Life) reviewing your application and stamping a giant red APPROVED on top. Fingers crossed!

LB & Rubylee--How are you girls feeling? Sick? Tired? Moody? Yesterday, I yelled at DH for making the bed incorrectly. "YOU KNOW I LIKE IT FLUFFY!"

IrishHope--As unpleasant as OHSS is, I imagine that the gallons of liquid you're guzzling is going down a bit easier with that divine little embie growing inside of you. And given all of that Gatorade, I expect GREAT things from you son or daughter in the 2028 Olympics. :D

SDTrying--Gee, thanks for the career counseling! However, I suspect that once my belly pooches out, my porn star breasts will fail to draw. So exotic dancing is out. But, perhaps, on the the thread, when we are not obsessing about follies, fert reports and betas, we can develop a line of IVF greeting cards. Here's one:
Your follies are growing nicely,
And you're feeling big and fat.
But try to look on the bright side
Dh scoops litter for your cat!

Update: Today I went in for b/w and an u/s. I don't have the results from my b/w yet, but the scan! Oh the scan! My RE told me up front that it was too early to see a heartbeat, but I did see the most exquisite, beautiful, charming, intelligent, friendly, gracious, polite, artistic, self-motivated, humorous, tenacious little dot on a screen. I love that little dot already.

After my appointment, I was scheduled to head down to Trenton for a conference. Instead, I called in a personal day, shed my business suit, donned a t-shirt, linen peasant skirt and flip flops and headed off to the quaint little Italian market down the street. I selected plump organic chickens, fragrant boughs of rosemary, papery white heads of garlic and the most adorable little fingerling potatoes. As I type, my house smells heavenly as it all roasts, bathed in a fruity olive oil. I feel poetic and happy and Earth Mothery. I want to feed and nourish the world!

ForMaggie: I love to read your posts!! You have such a way with words!! I am all for George Bailey reviewing my loan application! Hopefully he will be that generous, and call me soon so I can go ahead and set up my next appointment to get going again ASAP! :D I have got to catch up with the rest of you ladies! Sounds like you have had the dreamiest afternoon ever! And I think I can small your house all the way here in NC!! Thank goodness I had lunch already, or I would be drooling!
