As for me, I went in appointment today and everything seems great!! follies are doing great. I am not going on numbers this time but whatever I have should be of good quality. The doc has given me approx. ER date as Saturday which means 6/21.

I am quite anxiously looking forward to it. I pray to God that this cycle is for me....Lord...are you listening??

Hope everyone is doing well. I am really ready to be off of this bedrest. I've got one more day. My back is killing me from laying here so long, but I know that it is worth it.

hi everyone ,

went in today for bw and us, e2 is at 235 (day 4 of stims) seems high but from what I read on here from all of you , maybe it just means I have a lot of follies

Kate65 - Welcome! I am on Lupron and now menopur and follistim. it is my first IVF cycle so I don't know the pros and cons but i will say that according to my doc, I am responding very well to these particular meds...I hope you have the same luck. what were you on before?

Tarebeltwo, good luck with your follies, grow, grow, grow! My nurse drew some big circles on my hips too and my DH had a good laugh, but no pictures. I am going to have to do the progesterone shots until my pregnancy test too.

Welcome Natalia, I know what you mean with the ups and downs from day to day and even minute to minute. Just hang in there.

Congratulations Brit1612 and hooray Christty143, glad to hear the transfer went so well.
Jcurlygirl, from what I’ve read everyone’s E2 level can be pretty different and it just sounds like you’re responding really well to the meds. Maybe mention your cocnerns to your docotr. My E2 level was 568 after 6 days of stimming and than 757 on day 7.

Bella123 LOL about the Lupron being your favorite shot, I totally agree! Compared to the pen shot Lupron wins hands down.

Sonu911 I’m glad they gave you an ER date, that’s exciting!

As for myself. I went in for BW and US on Thursday and had 11 follies and 11 more too small to measure. I went in for BW and US today (Saturday) and had 15 measurable follies and 10 too small to measure. I guess they’re trying to give all of them a chance to grow a little bit more so I take my Gonal F again tonight and Lupron again tomorrow morning and than go in for BW and US again. So we’ll see what they say tomorrow, I just want a retrieval date!

Hi Everyone

Had my ER today! They got nine eggs and said they looked good. Been sleeping almost all day. They had to give me Percoset for pain but that seems to be ebbing now.

Did my progesterone shot night. I was really nervous about this one because my doctor said it would be pretty painful. First shot I let DH give me but I really didn't even feel it. He did a good job.

Looks like my ET will be Thursday 6/19.

Hope everyone is doing really well. Thanks to everyone for all the support.

Bella, I had Follistim last time, but the Lupron and Menopur are new. It went pretty well that time - 9 eggs, all mature, all fertilized and all seemed to grow normally. In the end, none of the embryos tested normal with PGD, so no transfer. Since that's usually an egg problem, my RE wanted to improve egg quality this time around and I think that's why he added the microdose Lupron and Menopur. I don't know anything else about them, though.

I'm also trying to cut back on exercise, because I read somewhere that body temperature exceeding 102 degrees could impact egg quality, but I can't find more info. Anyone know anything about that?

Hi ladies - welcome to the newbies - not got time to go through last couple of pages now

Things are really moving along on this thread with a couple already in the dreaded 2WW x - sending you loads of sticky baby dust x

Had my follie scan on friday and there were t least 4 on eachg side >15 and lots of smaller ones - well delighted as last cycle there were only 3 follies

- got another scan tom and have moved ER to probably thursday - which better work wise as not back till tom after 10 days off - am sure they would be pretty annoyed if worked 2 days and went sick - 3 a bit betterx

Will catch up more tom

Hooray, they finally gave me my ER date, it will be on Tuesday and than the ET will be on Thursday.

I take my HCG shot tonight at 10pm. My DH works second shift so I will be heading down to his work tonight and he'll give me the shot in a little conference room

LOL it will make for a good story down the road I'm sure.

I'm so happy to be done with the Lupron and especially the Gonal F.

Kate65, I've read some things on temperature too and I believe in the literature my doctor gave me it says you're not supposed to take hot baths.

Tarabeltwo, I'm glad everything went well. And I'm glad to hear the progesterone oil shot went well too. I have to take that and my doctor also told me it's a painful one. Supposedly if you warm up the vial a little bit before you take the shot it's supposed to help, but you don't want to get it too hot or you'll burn yourself. So I'm going to try that.

I went to my appt this past Saturday and unfortunately my E2 values werent good enough to start Follitism that day. I was told to continue Lupron until my next appt which is Tuesday to see if i can start follitism then along with 5 units of Lupron. My expected ER is the first week of July. They will following with the ET 4 days later. I am definitely looking forward to sharing my experience with all you guys.

bell- congrats on getting the er date, it will all start going quickly now.

Tarabletwo- sounds like your er went great, congrats. Best of luck with your transfer. Do you know how many you will be transfering?

Kate- my first cycle went really poorly and my doc thought that my egg quality wasn't great, the next round and this round I was on microdose lupron. My embryos did a complete turn around and looked much better. It really can make a difference; I also responded better to the meds when I was on microdose. Good luck and maybe this is the change you needed.

Wishfull- follies sound great, it seems like you are responding a lot better this go around. Good luck!

Hi Brit

We will be transfering 2. Because I am only 32 my Dr. won't do more than that. That's ok though cause I don't know about the whole triplets thing.

I am waiting for the Embryologist to call me this morning and tell me how many fertilized. I am in panic mode waiting for this call. I had dreams that none of them did.

It is amazing how you can talk yourself into crazy things.

Hi brit1612, great that things are going well for you. all the very best for you and the rest of us.
do you remember your stimming dose? did you take puregon shots? what units? I am taking 350 units of puregon and 0.05 of superfect(same as lupron). My scan is on Friday, after 6 days of stimming, I think you all got your scan earlier than that, dont know why they didnt want to see me any earlier.
