Hi all thank so much for the supportive words regarding your E2 levels. I am still very terrified they are going to cancel this cycle. I go in in an hour to have my b/w and u/s done again. I went in on Saturday and my E2 level was >1400!!!! I wanted to scream that they did not cut my meds back when it was 578. We have two RE's that work together and the one that I don't see was on that day and just didn't do his job in my opinion. Even my RE said "ya, I am suprised they did not cut back." Also I had over 44 follicles, some maturing some very little. So Sat/Sun they decreased my Bravelle to help slow me down. I am terrified that today will show and E2 of >3000 and it will all be over, my RE mentioned that this is a possibility. Well got to get in the shower for my appointment. I will keep you all posted. Hey everyone. I've read every page on this thread and I just wanna say
good luck to you all.
I would like to join if it's not to late. I started my bcp's june 10th.
I will start my lupron june 29th.
I've been ttc for 2 years after one miscarry at 25 weeks and
one eptopic. This is our first ivf cycle and we are paying out of pocket
for treatment.
So far we've spent six thousand that's because we're in a research
study for ivf.
Anyway good luck yal.

Hi brit1612, great that things are going well for you. all the very best for you and the rest of us.
do you remember your stimming dose? did you take puregon shots? what units? I am taking 350 units of puregon and 0.05 of superfect(same as lupron). My scan is on Friday, after 6 days of stimming, I think you all got your scan earlier than that, dont know why they didnt want to see me any earlier.

Helloo ladies - just got back from my scond follie scan and the little ones have not grown as much as doc wanted so have to stim for another day and ER has been moved to friday - so please all get your dancing shoes on and do a little jig for my baby follies x

hi wishfull, thanks a lot for the info, I worry about every little thing these days. I was getting worried that they are not bringing me in for a scan on time. last time (more than a year ago) I was on 175 IU puregon and my first scan was after 6 days of stimming and when I had the scan they had to cancel the cycle coz I didnt respond and it was way too late in the cycle to up my dosage. this time my dosage is much higher than before, and I do feel much different - cramps, headache, bloating and fatigue from the shots, so I am hoping the drugs might be working. My first scan is on Friday, June20, will find out then. Thanks and all the best!

Don't be too disappointed. I had to wait an extra day last week and my follies grew quite a bit and they even got more than they thought. It will be ok. Good Luck.

Well I just heard from my RE and my E2 level was at 3,400. I have 13 mature follicles on my right and 12 mature on my left all are 19+. This sounds great but still sounds like OHSS. My RE said she would get concerned if my E2 was >5000, from what I have read most believe OHSS is >3000?!? I don't know. I do know I am still going to retreval. ER is scheduled on Wednesday at 11am. I am excited I made it this far, hopefully I get some good eggies out of the deal and one super special baby! So far I will transfer back on Saturday! Here is to a long week!!

Tarabeltwo - How is the 2WW going? Pretty soon we are going to have a lot of BFP's on this board.

rs - I am with you on not responding well on the first cycle and wondering if the RE's could of done something differntly. My first cycle I had a dominant follicle and they didn't do a scan until after 5 days of stimming, I always wonder if they would of caught it sooner that they might have been able to do something differently. Hopefully this cycle will be better for both of us.

wishful - Don't worry too much about waiting another day. You are just giving it a little more time for the follies to grow. Also, I would think it would be better to have ER on a Friday and that way you have all weekend to recuperate. Good Luck at Er.

ndgo82 - welcome to the board. What kind of study are you doing? I am going to have to look into a study or something like that if this cycle doesn't work. My insurance only covers a lifetime max of $5000, which basically will be just this cycle. Where is the study taking place?

bell - GL with ER. Hope you get lots of eggies.

brit1612 - How is the 2ww going. Are you going to POAS? I am a POAS addict, I will probably start just a few days after ET. I know I waste a lot of money but I can't help it. One of these days I will find out if those test are actually telling the truth and they do come with 2 lines. When is your beta?

Well, I know I have missed a lot of people. This board has really taken off. So I hope everyone else is doing good.

For me, I am on like my 100th day of Lupron. With my cycle I don't do BCP but I am on Lupron longer then most so I feel like I have been on it forever compared to a lot of you. O'well at least I am doing something. i go for b/w and u/s on wednesday so hopefully I can start stims at the end of this week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

<b>jcurlygirl</b> That sounds like a great number of eggs. I have heard OHSS is a problem when E2 is over 5000. Your number is probably high (but hopefully not too hight) because of all the eggs you have. Good luck!!

<b>wishfull27</b> Wow, your first scan wasn't until day 9? That is a long time. I am on day 10 of stims and have been 3 times now. I am waiting for the call now to see how much longer they want me to stim. I am thinking they will push me at least another day so ER might be Thu.

Well things are looking good. I am waiting for instructions and possibly a day for ER. The nurse who did the u/s said they would probably push me one more day. Anyway, on the right they saw a 19, 16, 16,12, 10 and a few smaller. On the left 20, 16, 16. Looks like 16 is a common number today So I am thinking 6 are the right size. I don’t know if the smaller ones can catch up or not. I hope they call soon.

I have a little ways to go still. I am a July IVF cycle and I just got my June menses. On my third day (Wednesday) I will start taking birth control pills to ensure that my FSH is nice and low and I am on a microdose Lupron day 2 protocol.
