Cramps and pain in back in 2ww? Beta is 18th 11dpt.

Post by IndieBlue »

I started getting some positives on my pregnancy test strips at 6dpt, 7dpt and then on day 8 I got 3 negatives and 1 positive. Today is 9dpt and I got a negative again. I've been having morning hotflashes for the past week and I normally have those before I start AF, I've also been very grumpy and weepy...again AF symptoms. I'm actually having all my AF symptoms LOL; cramps, missing vocabulary/short term memory, cramps and hotflashes, ewcm.

I know a lot of women say they have AF 'like' cramps during the 2ww....but these are painful and my back has been hurting too....should I be worried? I have come to the conclusion that I'm probably not pregnant (those evil HPT sticks) but it's only 9dpt and our embryo's were a little slow (6 cell and 5 cell and we put back 3) so I am keeping some hope that this could be late cramping due to them burying in my lining?

I guess I'm really just concerned that these cramps hurt, as does my back...it's not 'uncomfortable' like the week before AF, but stronger.

I've not had any bleeding though...so again, I'm just looking to see if anyone had these types of cramps? And what your outcome was, if it was something I might need to look for? Thanks!!!

I had ALL of my AF signs the night before and the morning of ET. My nurse told me that it was the progestrone. She said that women who use progestrone inserts have more AF type cramp symptoms because the progestrone tends to build up around the uterus and causes more pressure.

I had the emcm as well, and I dont think she actually answered that part when I asked her. But, I really felt like it was going to be my worst AF, my hips felt like they were being ripped apart, my pelvic hurt...it was ALL there, but she said that it can be normal.

Here is what I asked her..."the progestrone will stop you from bleeding, but is my body "trying" to have a period natually, but cant". She said that very well may be the case.

She didnt give me the reassuring answer that I wanted, but she did make it sound like it was ok.

So women...the AF lady has not sung yet, you still have till Wed and as you said they were a little behind when you had them put in, so you still have a chance.

I wish you the BEST of luck!!!

Hi IndieBlue
I had to write you a note because I just feel sad for what you're going through and it feels like you've started to accept that you're not pregnant even though you don't know for sure.
I've heard that those evil HPTs are just that: EVIL because they can be so unreliable. That's why I didn't use any. My nurse just forbade me to do it and DH was my pillar of strength.
Please keep believing that you are still PUPO, in your case it's not proven that you are not!!!

I do believe that you can start AF when you're on progesterone, I did.
So, as long as you don't have AF, it's a good sign in my book.

You do still have a chance, send lots of positive energy to your embies, talk to them and believe without fail that you are preggo.

Maybe all that sounds a little crazy but I think it can only help.

Wishing you the best of luck and I'll keep on eye on you and see how you're doing.

Big hugs

Valerie

IndieBlue- Don't get down. I had back pain and some cramps before my I found out. Keep your head up and remember you haven't had any bleeding and that is a great sign. Good Luck!!! :)

Indieblue, when i was pregnant i had all of those symptoms. The problem is that the symptoms for AF and being pregnant are so similar :? just remember it's not over till the blood test says it's over.

Keep us all posted.

Thanks ladies :) I started yesterday evening though...so AF is here in full force this morning. I got positives at 6dpt, 7dpt and 1 on 8dpt mixed in with some negatives so I think I was probably beginning to see one implant....it just didn't get to stay very long :(

Thanks again for all the uplifting comments and positive vibes though :)
