Wow, I can't believe how much has gone on since I checked in last!

Jcurlygirl- it sounds like you will get a ton of eggs. I would just be real carefull after the retreival and make sure to let the doc's office know of any pain, since you seem to be at a little risk of ohss. Good luck with everything and that is great that you get to continue.

wishfull- I guess every clinic does it different; I have to go to the doc every other day during stims and during the 2ww (except for bedrest). Sometimes I feel like it is not needed to go some much but I would rather go too much than too little.

Turlte- sounds like you are going to have some good follies, maybe a few more of those will catch up.

Tarabletwo- congrats on the 7 out of 9 that's great. We seem to be having many good er on this board, hope they keep coming to everyone.

To have fun- I don't think I will poas because my doc takes blood work almost every other day, so technically I get a beta every other day. It is not official until 14 days after the retreival. I had my first bloodwork today, but I did not ask for the numbers this time because I know it is still way too early. I will ask them on Wed and Fri. Hope you get to start stimming soon.

rs- I am not familiar with the meds that you are on, but I am sure that they are similar to mine. I was taking 150 u of follistim, and 150 u of repronex every day until my 6th day of stimming and then they lowered my dose to 75 of the repronex. I was also taking 20 u of microdose lupron in the morning and in the evening.

Chrissy- when is your beta? I think mine is supposed to be of the 24th, but I hope I will find out sooner than that. Good luck.

Welcome ndgo and any other newbies that I have missed. Sorry for anyone I am leaving out, hope everyone is doing great.

Hello,
Welcome to the group Rosario, let us know how your E2 levels look at your appointment tomorrow.

Jcurlygirl, They stopped giving me my E2 levels so I can’t compare, screwy about the doctor not cutting back your dose. I’m sure everything will be just fine now that your regular dr. is back in charge. We are almost on the same schedule, I do ER tomorrow and ET on Friday. We can go through the dreaded 2ww together!

Tarabeltwo, congratulations on lucky number 7, good luck on Thursday.

Welcome to the group Ndgo82.

Wishfull, more time gives your follies more time to grow.

Rs, let us know how your appointment goes on Friday.

Hang in there tohavefun, keep your chin up. Let us know how your appointment goes.

Turtle, your follies sound like good ones, more time=more growth.

My HCG shot went well last night. DH had trouble getting a stubborn air bubble out of the vial but other than that it was fine. The shot didn’t hurt at all going in, in fact, I kept asking him if he really had the needle in. My muscle is sore today though. I go in for ER tomorrow at 7:30am.

A lot of people talking about POAS, how accurate is that really?

Morning everyone. I'm starting Lupron and Provera tomorrow morning but concerned about my situation. I've been spotting and haveing all pms symptoms since yesterday. I called my clinic and the nurse said i should still start the drugs and she thinks that spotting is from the biopsy test i had 5 days ago. I've never spotted in my luteal phase, today is my 7dpo, and I've heard that some women get implantation bleeding. I know i've been trying to get pregnant naturally for too long so i dont really have a chance, but what if i am and then i'll start the drugs which will either cause a miscarriage or damage my fetus. I'm confused. Any thoughts?
And good luck to everyone, think positive.

Bell - good luck today with your ER praying for many eggies!! You will have to keep us informed. It will be great having a 2WW with someone. When does you RE test? On my paperwork it says after 16 days!! That is so long. I wonder if they do this to miss a chemical pregnancy if it happens. Well who knows. I am going to try not to POAS ever! I even gave my DH strict instructions to not let me. We will see if I can make it that long.

Love, luck and baby dust!

just have fun-there are ivf studies going on around the country.
I live in philadelphia,pa and penn hospital is doing mine.
My dh and I spent 6,000( i just added all are reciepts) and that
covered everything. My meds are coming tommorow, and those only cost 1,947.65 for everything.

It's a research study that's doing investigational drugs with a progesterone ring that you insert in your vaja-ja or the supository like one with the progesterone in it. So we don't do the shots at all, it's one or the other.
They might have this close to you..ask your RE maybe.
Good Luck.

Glad to hear all the great news ladies.

Natalia71 - I would ask for a pregnancy test just to be sure. I first attempted IVF in Feb. and had been on bcp for a month before starting lupron. One week into lupron I had an ectopic pregancy. We have been ttc for 4 years now and I get pregnant on bcp  So it doesn't hurt to check. Hope things work out for you.

bell-02 - good luck today with ER.

Well, went in again today and things look great. The nurse said she thinks that seven follies will be ready for ER :D:D:D The seven are between 15 and 22. Looks like ER will be Thur. Just waiting for instructions. Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Everything went fine with my retrieval this morning, just a bit sore. But they just called and said DH's deposit this morning produced nothing viable. They wanted him to go back in right away to do another one (that's where he is now). He has two frozen samples that they'll resort to next. Has anyone ever had this happen to them? I'm freaking out here. Help!

Well i still cant start stimming just yet. Turns out my E2 levels werent as expected once again. Last visit (Sat) it was 105 I did b/w on the side yesterday and my level was 85 but i forgot what todays level was. I now have to start 20 units of Lupron. 10 units in the morning and the other 10 at night. I will have b/w again on Saturday to see if anything has changed.

Now i am a bit worried. If this is happening with Lupron can this happen with Follistim? I mean they want me to be on 600 IU. But I am scared this might do nothing or might be too much. I know its not a good thing to stress but I might just be getting a little impatient hehe.
