Help Has Anyone Got BFP and Had no symptoms

Post by cheekskuss »

I am feeling discourged I had my transfer on last thursday 6/7 i transferred 2 blast 5AA and 4AA grade. My I had alot of pain from stimulating and from retrieval. But saturday following transfer i felt like little cramps and when my bladder got full it really hurt and on sunday, monday and tuesday worst backacke. I wake up this morning i feel nothing. but the last two days i have to sleep when i come home from work. and i get headaches on and off during the day also for the last two days. My nipples are still sore. but i feel like since i dont feel anything now that i am not pregant i am even thinking of not going in for beta. I need some encourging stories right now and for some reason the last two day i cry for everything but i believa all of that is my hormones from the progestrone.

Hello, I have a DD that I conceived naturally she is 7 1/2 now. We are doing IVF for our second due to a diagnosis of diabetes with DH. I can tell you that with my first I felt absolutely nothing EXCEPT that I had to sleep all the time. I would come home from work and pass out and sleep like 12 hours and this went on for the first 3 months. So it sounds good to me you sleep cause you need all that rest to grow that baby. Please don't get discouraged and don't miss that BETA I am sure it will be great.

I would not be disouraged yet. I have heard many people on these boards say that they had no symptoms at all, many even said that they didn't want to go in. I had a bfp on my second cycle that ended in miscarraige, but I had no symptoms at all. The day before the beta I had a bad headache, and those lasted for the next few days. When is your beta test? Good luck with everything.
After 7 attempts (2 negatives/3 miscarriages), we have TWO miracle boys!! If you would like to hear our story, please visit http://www.ivfsuccessstories.info. Never give up, it can happen for you!!

There are typically no symptoms of early pregnancy. That's why they need the test. The lack of symptoms means nothing at this point.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I had no symptoms, from the day they called about my beta until I hit 5 weeks. After 5 weeks, I started to have morning sickness. Some women don't even get that...so this early on there is no way to tell if you are pregnant or not based on symptoms.
Dont stress!

I also get headaches but i think its from the progestrone. If i took a hpt would i know my transfer was last thursday the 12th.

Ghost is right, even if you were having symptoms right now they would most likely not be caused by a pregnancy but rather caused by the meds & the procedures that you have just been through in the past couple of weeks.
We can drive ourselves crazy trying to interpret symptoms/no symptoms -I know from experience that it's really hard not to. But I can tell you that on all of my cycles, I didn't really feel that different on the BFN ones than I did on the BFP one. Pregnancy symptoms from the pregnancy won't kick in until a couple of weeks after the blood test -unless you are lucky & have no real symptoms until your belly pokes out.
Keep up the PMA!

I don't think that you should do a hpt yet, because they don't pick up the hcg until the level is around 50. From what I have read this couldn't be picked up until around 12dpt. I am not sure about the day, but I know it is not until very close to when they do the beta test. Good luck on your test, and try to relax in the mean time.

symptoms

Post by MyBoyParker »

Well, when I got my BFP with Parker, I STILL didn't get any symptoms at all until about 4-6 weeks AFTER I found out I was pg. So I wouldn't go by symptoms at all.

But I know how you feel. I'm in my 2ww after our 2nd FET (got a BFN in April) and I have 6 days left!!! But I'm trying not to drive myself crazy with all the things I feel. Sometimes I get slight sharp pains down there, that last only a few moments.....and don't happen very often. Part of me is worried that there's something wrong, and the embies didn't stick.....and part of me is thinking maybe it's because I'm PG. It's so frustrating!!!!!!

I guess we just have to remember that we'll never REALLY know until the big day!!!

Good luck!!!

I had NO pregnancy symptoms. I did still feel the progesterone, but nothing other than what I was already feeling from the progesterone. I didn't get any symptoms until 6 weeks pregnant and then BLAMMO-- they hit me like a ton of bricks- fatigue and nausea. But NOTHING before that!

Don't worry, I had no symptoms either. Nothing until about 7 to 8 weeks. You can still get a BFP! Don't do an HPT since it might not pick up, keep the progesterone shots and the positive mental attitude. I know this is very emotional but this early on it is very normal not to feel pregnant!
