Question for Ghost please tell me....

Post by ndgo82 »

if you or anyone knows or have ever heard of RE'S digging in your uterus lining when doing embryo transfer so that they stick for sure?

I would think that that would work right? If so they can get the digging on me. I've heard one woman's RE did this and she actuall saw on the u/s monitor when her embies latched on. Now I'm like so excited to go ask mine to do the same :D

No, I've never heard of that.

Also, the transferred embryos are too small to see on ultrasound. They can see the air bubble, though.

Implantation takes a couple of days. Only a hatched embryo can implant, and clinics rarely transfer hatched embryos. They usually transfer day 3 or day 5 embryos. The embryos hatch a few days later and then begin implantation. A couple of weeks after that they will have grown large enough to see on ultrasound.
Avoid IVF and surrogacy in Ukraine. Ukrainian centers pay shills to post here under numerous sock accounts pretending to be patients in Ukraine. Centers using such deceptive advertising cannot be trusted and should be avoided.

I asked my RE if he went into or touched the lining when he was doing my transfers and he said no, that disturbing the lining could prevent implantation.

I'm not gonna ask my re that, she'll look at me and laugh, it was a joke. I'm just desperate and I wish I had control over what and how it would implant but I don't.
Congrats on your pregnancy though, hope you have a good nine months :D

Sorry, I didn't think it was a joke. I thought it was a very valid question and was sharing because I had the same question and asked when I was going through transfer after transfer. I understand how frustrating unsuccessful transfers can be and wanting to do anything possible to make those embies stick. I found doing visualization in my mind a good way for me to feel some control with transfers. I'd close my eyes and imagine the embies setting on the right spot and burying into the lining themselves. I also took control by doing accupunture, had my teeth and gums cleaned, and chiropractic work to align my spine.
Thanks on the congrats for me :D . After 2 fresh and 3 frozen, it was my fifth transfer (FET) that finally worked for me  . RE Transfered my last 2 ice babies and one stuck. My pregnancy has been very good with only 64 days to go until baby's due date. I'm so excited about becoming a mom and I'm doing my best to read everything I can to do the best job I can. Hang in there and keep a PMA....I'm sending lots of baby dust your way.
