Morning Buddies
Aly the chinese herb sound lovely  I'm on chinese medicine so I just take them with water, for a few weeks I had to take one cup of their tea with only an inch of hot water cos it tasted that awful I just made sure I had a bottle of water handy, that was really bad and I only had to take it for 2 weeks so I really feel for you .I have also been having acupunture I have had it since Dec and the chinese doc said I would keep failing ivf because my body isnt ready to keep an embryo she put me on some chinese med one to warm my ultraus (spelling :!: ) so we will see if it works.Good luck with your iui on monday.
Jen welcomto the 2ww hope you are resting? when do you test?
Sue oh my god what a day you and your dh had, well done on having 3 put back, when do you test?
Dawn how are you?
Michelle how are you?
Well the pains stopped on Friday,my boobs are not sore so I havent got any pg signs  The only thing thats different is that I've really gone off strong tasting foods like curries, but that might be because I've got a bit of a cold, who knows! I have postive days and negative days I just praying that some one will give us a break and make our dream come true.
Go back to work tomorrow I've been off since Tuesday I've got into day time telly,uk gold is brill during the day.
Hope everyone is ok and keep thinking postive its got to work for one of us.

Hi everyone

Had really strange niggly pains yesterday in right side, then fell asleep at 9.30pm! Today I feel like I have pmt, bloated stomach, craving sweet things, dull headache etc, surely my af cant be on its way already :( ! When I have had IVF I have always put these things down to your hormones being all over the place and your body getting back to normal, but I have had a natural cycle!!!! So not feeling too positive at the mo.
Gem, know what you mean about one day feeling good and not the next, wish you could take a pill and wake up after the 2ww, this bit is the worst! Still daytime TV has a certain appeal! Fingers crossed, PMA etc etc! What date do you test? I am going to test on 6th unless af has already arrived by then.
Dawn where are you?? How did ET go yesterday and welcome to the 2ww!
How is everyone else on 2ww feeling?

Hi Sue
I am also testing on the 6th. Apart from being completely bloated and also an odd twinge on my right hand side, I've got no other symptons whatsoever.
You are so right, the 2ww is the longest, most drawn out part, I'm at home till tomorrow and then back in the office on Thursday - which in a strange kind of way am looking forward to as hopefully the time will pass more quickly.
Did you have a 3 day transfer? Sorry to sound so dim but what does a natural cycle mean - did you use frosties?
When are you back to work?
You are right PMA, PMA, PMA!!!
Love, Michelle x

Hi Guys

Well from falling asleep at 9.30, I was awake from 3 til 5 with mind working overtime this morning, so am a bit tired today!
Still feel like af is on its way :( , but there you go, so did others and then turned out to be pg. Fingers crossed.
Gem, you only have a couple of days to go,hang on in there, counting on you to start the JCBs off with a big fat +ve. How many days after EC/ET are you testing?
If I go by my last period I should be due af on 4th so if i make it to 6th I will be feeling more hopeful.
Michelle, yes I used frosties and havent had any medication, they transfered them back on sat which was 3 days after ov. My clinic uses nat cycle 1st if you have normal hormone profile, and although I am 38, my consultant assures me that my profile and the way I respond to the stims are more like a 25yr old(if only my face and body were too!)
Has anyone heard from Dawn? She was due for ET mon and we havent heard since, hope she is ok. Maybe she is tucked up in bed for the 2ww!
Am thinking of doing either acupuncture or reflexology if I get a -ve next time. Aly have you tried reflexology aswell as acupuncture?Must admit having my feet rubbed has more of an appeal than someone sticking needles in me! Dunno if I could handle those chinese herbs though, only chinese I like comes in a takeaway carton!
Take care all

Has anyone got any snow today?
We got some this afternoon and it was settling so we could go home at 3.30 once the children went home which was good has we had a staff meeting  but it stopped when we went home and hasnt started again so it looks like the school werent be closed tomorrow :( god its only my 1st day back today.
The last few days are going to be negative they always are I think its because I dont want to get my hopes up so I havent got a big fall on sat.

Hi Everyone
Great to hear from you Dawn we can all stop worrying!
How is everyone doing? GEM really thinking of you and hope you test positive on Saturday I'll be thinking of you!
Sue , your having fun sleeping I hope your managing to relax a little Michelle stop analysing! How is everyone else?? It's all gone a bit quiet so wanted to make sure everyone is OK
Jen how are you doing?
I'm back to consultant tomorrow so will know when they will inseminate after that it's the long wait.

One of the problems I have is that my body is hypersensitive. When I fell pregnant last year, I knew the exact time of implantation because I had a severe cramp in the middle of my stomach and then a warm burning sensation for approx 10 minutes. I also had incredibly sore boobs and fell asleep at the drop of a hat so unfortunately I can tell pretty early if it's worked or not (all happened before test date) (M/C at 5 weeks), I wish it was different and I could at least get to test date without knowing!
Does anyone else have feelings like this?? I can tell you the exact minute I ovulate as well as I have severe cramps so no chance of missing it!
Sorry to prattle on big hugs to everyone
Aly

Hi everyone

Am feeling v sorry for myself today as have the cold from hell and was awake most of last night cos I couldn't breathe!! Have been laying on the sofa all day in my pj's with the duvet. I did manage to crawl to the shower a little while ago and then into more pj's!! I've coughed so much I think I might have coughed the embies out! Am still so bloated I look 4mths pg which dh thinks is hilarious - he's affectionately calling me his little whale (to***r)!
So how is everyone? Have you all got lots of snow?
Sue, your right Norwich came to a complete standstill yesterday! The buses didn't start running until after 9am today. A couple of inches of snow and everyone panics!! I hope your feeling more positive today, I now know how hard the 2ww is! But like the others have said lots of girls get af symptoms and are pg.
Gem, I can't believe you test on Saturday!! I'll be thinking of you and can't wait to see the first of the JCB's to get a +++.
Am due to test on 9 Feb which is 2 wks after et but I thought it was 2 weeks after ec???
I have to say you girls are brave drinking the chinese herbs! I would definately throw up at the sight of them!
Take care everyone
lots of love
Dawn

Hi Girls

Hope you are all keeping well!!??

Dawn - Hope that bloody cold leaves you very soon!

Gem - My thoughts are with you for tomorrow!

I am still alive - just!! I think I may end up in the funny farm at the end of this 2ww. I started off really positive and now I am not so sure.......I have convinced myself I would know if I was pregnant!! I am due to test on Sunday 8th.........spent a lot of yesterday in tears.......poor DH did his best.

Sorry, just had to vent my worries on people who I know would understand.

Hope everyone else is ok and keep thinking positive

Hi

Gem honey! Come on its not over yet!! Loads of girls on this site were pg and had no symptoms at all, except for af ones! In fact there was a post from a girl who had tested early but got a -ve so went on to drink, have baths etc etc(all the things you deprive yourself of on the 2ww) then discovered a few days later she was in fact +ve!!
My af pains have gone today so I am following your pattern! I wish you all the luck in the world for tomorrow and will be checking for your post!
Dawn- hope your cold is getting better, at least you have an added excuse for being on the sofa!!
Aly- I too can tell exactly when I ovulate by pains, sometimes they are really bad. Havent felt the implatation pains though :( , my af pains have gone now and still really tired, oh well this time next week it will all be over one way or another.
Jen- I was really tearful on Tues, convinced it had failed etc, I have even planned in my next full IVF cycle on the calender, but today im a little more hopeful. Think are hormones are all over the place and the stress of treatment has to come out some how. Hope you are feeling brighter?
Michelle- how you feeling? Any symptoms at all??

Good luck again Gem, keeping everthing crossed for you hun!

Hi Girls
Well I'm with Gem and Jen today - I've been so positive up until this point, and then I woke up today and just got a feeling that it hadn't worked...I told dh and he told me that I am mad and that it has worked....I just don't think he can imagine it not working again....please let him be right. But I must say Gem, you are almost there and you are going to do it and follow in Juliana's wonderful news!
Dawn, I also look really pg.....dh has taken to calling me Tubby - bloody charming!!! Hope that your cold is getting better.
Sue, apart from feeling and looking like a big fat pig - I've got no symptons whatsoever. When I had my first IVF which was positive (m/c at 6 weeks) I am sure that I had very sore boobs and was weeing loads in the night, but can't remember if that was before I tested or just after...so I'm obviously worrying that I feel nothing.
My mum gave said to me today that I have done everything that I possibly can to get this far and if it has happened it will have by now! But I just wish I knew....this 2ww feels like a prison sentence.
Anyway loads of love JCBs and have lovely weekends.
Sue, this time next week you and I will know - OMG
Love, Miche x
Our darling son Jake was born in October 2004 on our 3rd IVF attempt. I have PCOS. We're now trying again naturally, before embarking on our next FET IVF possibly late 2005... so watch this space!!!
