wishful - Good job that you got more than last time. I will be rooting for your other two to fertilize. So you won't find out anything else until right before transfer? It is hard to relax not knowing. I will get one more call and they will grade my embies with 5 being the best. So all I am thinking about now is come on be 5's. :)

kate - I didn't feel as much in the belly after my hCG shot and things were still fine.

Well, I think I was trying to break a record in how many times you can get up in middle of the night and pee ;) I got up I think 6 or 7 times. Guess I had a lot of water retention. I am feeling a little better today. Yesterday I had the worst acid reflux/heartburn.

Hope everyone is having good weekend.

They called with the grades on my embies!! I have two grade 4's and one grade 3. A 5 is the best grade this clinic gives. Of the grade 4's I have a 4 cell and a 5 cell. Which I think is really good for day 2. The grade 3 embie is a 2 cell. So embies keep on dividing :)

So transfer is at 8:30 tomorrow morning. :D:D:D

Turtles - it sounds like your little guys are hanging on. Grow embies grow, good luck on ET.

Wishful - Congrats on your fert report. Monday will be here in no time and your little ones will be back inside snuggling up.

rs - How are things going? Any news on your cycle. When do you go back for more testing?

How are all the 2ww ladies doing? Seems we are going to have a lot of Beta's and BFP coming soon.

We have awesome weather today. It is sunny and 80 degrees with a little bit of wind. I don't feel like doing anything so I have spent most of my day on my front porch reading a book. Now I am down with the book and still don't want to do anything but enjoy the nice day. I am such a bum. I get to go back to the RE on Wednesday for another U/S and B/W. Keeping my fingers crossed that my E2 level goes down and that I am not too suppressed.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

WOW! A lot happening on this board!

Turtles - ET Tomorrow!! That is awesome! Your three embies sound just perfect...and tomorrow you will be PUPO!! YAY!!

Kate - Good luck with your ER! I have my ER Monday, so we will be in the 2ww together!

To-Have-Fun - How far along are you on your stims? Hope you get a great report when you go back...Wednesday seems like pretty far away! Or are you just on lupron for now, waiting to start stims after you have been suppressed...sorry, I guess I'm behind on what's happening in your cycle...but that seems to make more sense. Anyway - Hope all is well!

Wishfull - Congrats on the fert report! So you have ET Monday? Good luck!! Do you know how many you will be transferring?

rs - I am so sorry (and so shocked!) to hear how you haven't responded to six days of stims! Have you and your doc made a decision about what your next step will be? You must be so disappointed. I was blindsided when I first started my cycle and it was canceled due to 2 gigantic cysts...hopefully you'll find a way to work through this setback!

Bell & Brit - hope you're hanging in on the 2ww! Do either of you plan to POAS?

Well, I am triggering tonight!! I still have about 17 follies, and she thinks 10-12 of them (maybe more) will be good for trying to fertilize...sounds great to me! I think if we really end up with that many, we may have them do one the "old fashioned way" (ha ha) and the rest ICSI. It would just be nice to know if DH's sperm can get the job done...for future reference. So ER Monday morning and ET Thursday or Saturday (that seems like it is SO far away!!!)

They called with my levels also, progesterone at 1.2 and E2 at 3300! I'm a little nervous about OHSS! It went from 1600 on Thursday to 2700 on Friday and now 3300! She is only having me do half of the HCG trigger shot so as to help ward off OHSS. Has anyone ever heard of this? She said it will still do the job of getting the eggs ready for ovulation, but I wonder why do they use 10000 normally if 5000 works just as well? I hope this isn't putting my eggs at risk!! Any input out there would be appreciated.

Anyway - DH and I are both really emotional at this point...he asked me today if I've been sneaking him estrogen because he keeps tearing up! LOL! We are both just so excited.

Update on my appt!!!

Post by Rosario »

There is a bigggg chance that I wont get this far this cycle. My e2 levels keep rising. They went for 85 last visit to 156. I went from 10 units of Lupron to now 20. Right now i want to give up because i didnt even make it to stimming. Not even close to suppressing. Has anyone gone through this? BTW i have been on Lupron since June 2nd. I went ahead and asked when i can try again and this said after my next period.

Rosario - I am so sorry to hear about your suppression difficulties. Hopefully they can try a different approach next month...try not to get too down about this setback...is this your first time starting an IVF cycle? I know it's frustrating, but when it comes to determining the right protocol, I think they need to learn some things by trial and error. PMA!

Hey Everyone, back from transfer. They transferred two. One nearly perfect 8 cell an one nearly perfect 5 cell. Though he said the 5 cell looked like it was going to divide again soon. So I am now PUPO :D:D

Going to take a nap now.

Turtles - Congrats on ET. Hope the little guys are snuggling in tight.

Adsgirl - sounds like you have a lot of good follies. Good Luck with ER and KUP on your fertilization. I am still currenlty on Lupron. If my E2 level is good on Wednesday, hopefully I will start to stim after that.

Rosario - I feel you pain. Last cycle they over suppressed me so this cycle they have had me on less Lupron. So when I went in for my baseline my E2 level was too high to start stims. Now I am doing another week of Lupron. Keeping my fingers crossed that my E2 level is lower this week, if they aren't I believe they will cancel this cycle. I have been on Lupron since June 5, they started me out at 10U and I am still taking that amount. I guess they didn't want to up it just in case they over suppressed me again. I know that every body acts differently to the meds, I guess it is all just a game to find out what protocol is right for us. Have they officially canceled your cycle or are they giving you a little more time to see if your levels drop?

Turtle - They look great. Isn't the coolest to get those pictures. I received a picture of my two as well I didn't know they did that.

Did you get to see them do the transfer? My RE had a televisison I could see and watched them do the transfer! That was pretty cool.

Best of luck during your 2ww.

Hey Tarabeltwo - I was hoping I would get a picture, but wasn't expecting such a nice one. I sort of watched the transfer. The tv was at an angle that made it hard for me to see well. I think my DH had a better view. I really like my doc and embryologists. They are so nice. Of course DH and the doc talked fishing most of the time

Oh a lot has happened since I last logged in.

Wishing all the luck in the world all the ladies here who have had transfers or are going in for it. Enjoy being PUPO....:D Its a great feeling. Take care and get pampered if not by anyone else them by yuorself. :)

Carolyn - I will be praying for you when you go for transfer today, hope everything goes well. Just remember taht this our year!! :D

, I also go for transfer today. I had 18 eggs after thr retrieval on Friday but my experience says that the number don't really matter and it just takes one strong embaby to make it!! Hope I have some to freeze.

Prayers for all

This is my very first cycle. I have been on Lupron since June 2nd. My RE is giving me until tuesday before they officially cancel this cycle. I am more than sure it going to cancel since they up'ed my dose to 20 units and my e2 levels seem to go up all the time. I dont mind waiting since i have no other choice i guess. Are there any herbal teas i can take for this?
