We got the call saying our ET is scheduled for tomorrow at 1PM and we'll find out in the morning if they're going to push it to Friday. I'm so eager to hear how many have made it thus far, and I'm praying that they've all succeeded. I would love to transfer 3, but RE says we'll see how good the quality is and then make a decision from there. I've been working from home this week, trying to relax, not get stressed, and just take it easy. I'm so freaking bored! I've watched a few chick flicks and know I'll be on my back the next couple of days, after the ET...so it'll be a few more chick flicks for me :)

Hope everyone is doing well and M/S isn't so bad these days.

Indie, I'm thinking about you and know how very sad you are at this time. I was there a couple of months ago and time is the only thing that heals.

Today's BETA was less than 5, so I go in Monday for my 'final' visit. I really really prayed that today would have turned out to be a miracle but sadly I'm left wondering what went wrong, and why God let me get this far only to face such harsh disappointment. I'm so afraid to go through another cycle....afraid of the financial strain, facing the same outcome and just the whole emotional rollercoaster.

I guess only time will heal and I'll continue to pray that God had me walk through this valley to get to a bigger promise on the other side.

I'm still praying for all of you....and I pray that you all get your BFP's and beautiful babies :) You all have been a great circle of friends and support over this whole thing....and always had the answers to my crazy questions so again, THANK YOU!!!

Angram: we are all happy for you...let us know what is decided.....

Faith - I'm very sorry for your loss, you and DH are in my thoughts and prayers.

Stress - I hope everything is okay, let us know how you're doing.

Well we did a 3dt today and put back 2 perfect beautiful 8 cell embryos :) It was awesome to watch on the sonogram and they gave me a pic of my uterus with the little white air bubble (goes in after the embryos so you can see it) and a pic of the kiddos. We actually had 9 fertilized, so the last little fighter made it through, but it's only a 2 cell today. This morning at 8AM they had planned to put back an 8cell and 7cell, but by 2PM (ET got delayed a bit), the 2nd one was an 8cell :) RE and embryologist did not want to put 3 back in, since the first 2 were so perfect. Anyway, they will watch the other 7 until Friday and hopefully a couple of the fighters will make it through to freeze. Other than that, I'm gonna head back to the couch and lounge today and tomorrow.

I hope all you other women are doing terrific!

Good news Angram...and yes 2 healthy is the best....now rest rest rest.....

Me: I think I was sad for Indie since she was there since the begining.....I am doing fine.....my hypersensitive nose is smelling everything....since I cannot take the smell of cooking....my DH finally agreed on eating 'outside' food. He is soooo used to eating home cooked food that it was hard in the begining....and poor thing even though he has no problems with cooking for us...I cannot allow him to cook becoz of the smell....my nausea is there in the evening more than in the afternoon unlike before....

How are other ladies doing.....

Indie- I am so sorry. You must have had a chemical with the +'s you had. Which that doesn't make it any better, I know - I have had one. Let us know how the visit went today. Will you see Dr. P today?

Stress-I hope you are feeling ok.

Angram- Your transfer sounds great & hopefully you will get some snowbabies too. Keep yourself busy, this next week or so can make you nuts.

My 3rd beta was good and I have my 1st u/s next Friday, it can't get here fast enough.
Karen

Hey Stressball, the twins are doing good so far. I have one more U/S for the study at 12 weeks, so it is scheduled for 7/13/08; however, I knew I couldn't wait that long to make sure everything was still okay, so I scheduled my first visit with my local OB for 6/30/08, which will be just past the 10-week mark. I know it sounds crazy, but as closely as I have been monitored throughout this process, 30 days seemed like a long time to wait between visits. Keeping my mother in check has been the most difficult part. We have told our parents, but are trying to wait until the 10-12 week mark to share our news with other family and friends. My mother wants to tell everyone, and she has already started shopping for maternity clothes for me. She is very sweet, but sometimes difficult to restrain.

How is everyone else doing? I hope you all have a great weekend!

baylorbear33 - That's totally understandable about not wanting to wait a month for another u/s, especially in the first trimester. Now you'll get to have 2 more :)

stress - My beta is on Sunday, 6/29 and I'm not sure if I'll POAS before then. I'm going to try and hold off, but we'll see how things go. I love strawberries and eat a container every week, so that's good news on the folic acid. The only thing I've cut out so far has been caffeine and alcohol, but other than that trying to eat healthier but definitely give in on burger, fries and pizza sometimes :)

Indie - Not sure if you're checking the site right now, but I'm thinking about you and hope you're doing ok.

karen - Great news on the 3rd beta and I hope the week goes by fast for you, the first u/s has got to be so exciting!!

beccatx - Hope your week is going well and you're feeling good these days.

Same ol' same for me, just hanging out and counting down the days of this 2ww :)

Hi all!

Stress...I am now 12 weeks and 2 days. My family (mom and siblings) have known since the first beta...they all knew we were doing IVF, so they wanted daily updates. My S.I.L. was most involved because she went through IVF/FET 5 or 6 times to have my one nephew and it was the same clinic I went to, so it was easy to talk to her. My school close friends (like 3 or 4 people) knew very soon after beta too, because they all knew I was doing IVF...these are people I am close to, not just "co-workers"...my church close friends knew too by week 6 0r 7 because they were praying for us during all my bleeding scares, and my husband told EVERYONE and anyone who would listen that we were pregnant that first week when I had several good betas...I asked him not to, but he couldn't stop himself apparently. The people I told were people who I would also tell if something bad happened and I lost it. The people my husband told were another story and that's why I wanted him to wait (even though it was sweet he was so proud and happy).

I have had 5 sonograms already- 2 from the study that were planned, 1 from the study because I was bleeding and scared, 1 from OB at my first visit at nine weeks, and one "emergency" one from my OB last week because of another bleeding scare. Each time the little baby is great, good heart beat, great size, and no visisble reason for the bleeding and clots. I have been fine since last Wed. June 11 and I get 2 sonograms next week. One from a specialist- a 3-D one because I'm "advanced maternal age" (36 today :)) and one on Thursday as my last visit for the study. Do you think the 3d one will show sex of baby yet?

I forget my vitamin several times a week and feel like a huge LOSER! It's hard because I am feeling sick so often and I have to really prepare to take it. I vow to get better.

I'm glad you ladies are hanging in there! Angram...how are you
feeling????

Hi becca - Wow, I cannot believe you're already that far along, incredible!! I've also told my family and closest friends, but not planning to tell everyone we're pregnant (when that happens next week :)) because it is so hard to have to go back and explain a misscarriage. It almost killed me when we got pregnant last year from an IUI and then had to go back and say we lost it. I am so happy to hear your little one is doing great and that you've had so many ultrasounds, how awesome is that!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY...I didn't know we were "advanced maternal age", I'm also 36 :) Well I don't care what they call me, as long as it's a pregnant momma! I'm feeling good and a little crampy way low, not sure if that's where I should be feeling crampy or not. I'm only 3 days past 3dt, so hoping my little bean is working on implanting as I type :) Other than that, I'm just keeping a low profile and then planning to go back to work on Monday.

I hope everyone else is doing great and having a wonderful weekend.

Becca: you are already 12 weeks....wow....has you nausea and other symptoms stopped yet????? You asked about the sex of the baby...I doubt it if Doc can tell this early......do u have a preference....by my moms grace all mt family members know about my pregnancy....my in laws side nobody knows. My DH is scared to death to even talk about my pregnancy with me so no way he is going to share with anybody.....

Bear: I dont blame you for extra sono....it feels like that 2ww is never ending.....

Angram: I want to be there for you...it is possible that I might disaaper for some time but will come back...

Me: Nausea and sleepy...other than that...just fine....To beat the smell part I cooked 3 hours before eating and then went out of the house...it helped...

Waiting for AF

Post by Soderbee »

Hi ladies! I haven't taken BCPs in years so I am clueless and anxious to start my period....go figure! I started the lupron last Wed and took my last BCP on Sat night. Do you know when I should start? I surely thought Mon/Tue but now that Tue is up, I am getting frustrated. Also, usually about a week after to start stims, correct? I am the type of person who hates surprises, so the wait is killing me. So not anticipating the 2ww. Thanks everybody! :)

Soderbee - I think everyone is a bit different, but I believe I started AF 3 days after taking my last BCP. My first IVF a few months ago was a little different, AF didn't start for about 1 1/2 weeks, but that was due to a cyst. Give it a day or so, she'll arrive. I believe most RE's start stims on day 2-3, so you're almost there :) Oh yeah, waiting and stress are the name of the game on this process..hold on for the ride :) I hope she arrives very soon and you get to start stimming, it all flys by from that point to your 2ww.
