.... this site is the business!
next time i log on am going to have a decaf cappuccino and great big muffin and pretenend i'm in st@rbucks with my mates!
thank you all so much for your immediate support and warmth. because yesterday was my day of discovery, last night was my night of mad dreams and this morning was that horrible first morning when you open your eyes....and then remember what you've been told.
Alisonn and shell, big congrats, Shell hope your midwife has been giving you good tips to get into labour*(!)
because i'm a midwife, it's such a no mans land, as soon as i saw ICSI scribbled across the sperm count result yesterday and the 6 mil number i knew enough to know the news wasn't good - so my throat went tight and my ears closed over and my head span and never really heard much else of the consultation, but i've never been a gynae nurse and really know little about it at all, so this site and your fantastic input is really going to help me, and lost and nickie and anyone else....on our way.
thankyou already.
LOL Amity x

*s*x and lots of it - lets face it, you were denied that oppurtunity to get you pregnant! can't wait to hear any news.....

Yes, I work shift work and am currently working what we call the "graveyard" shift all night so have the early hours when all calms down to catch up on correspondence - found this site and thought it was amazing!

Take care

Am I just being a scardy cat to not go straight for ICSI and trying clomid first? Am I just living in a dreamworld to think that this month will be the lucky one? you hear so many "miracle" stories of people given no hope and then conceiving naturally or going thru 10 years of IVF to give up and then conceive naturally.
I guess I'm still at that venting phase.
I just want to make some progress
Thanks for being out ther and listening.
What do any of you know about acupuncture? or alternatives? A friend of mine said today I shouldn't rule anything out.
Any insights?
Hope you 're all tucked up in bed sleeping well tonight. I need one of those - a good night's sleep.
