Tarabel - I don't know how you are handling 5 days of bed rest. I am having a hard time on day 2. Of course it could be because my husband is clueless about things around the house. He can't find anything!! I swear he walks into the kitchen and you can see his IQ just drop I mean he can't even do instant oatmeal!!

Well guys wish me lots of luck. I have my appt for b/w at 1pm and from there they will decided wether or not they will cancel this cycle. For those who dont know about I have been on Lupron since June 2nd and i am not suppressed. As a matter of fact my E2 levels keep going up instead having them go down. Keep me in your prayers.

Sonu are you in India? I think I read something like that in one of your posts. I am not from India, but I was in Bombay last year in July, for a donor IVF cycle. It rained like anything... I liked the city. I loved the doctor there. Dr.Firuza Parikh at Jaslok Hospital, she is amazing!

rs, I know your question was really for turtle, but I asked my RE the same thing a few months ago. As I recall, he said the number of follicles you're going to have in a cycle is kind of pre-determined (I think as a child) for every cycle you'll ever have, and it will vary from one to the next. The medication may help more of the follicles grow eggs, control the rate or improve egg quality within that crop, but it doesn't change the follicle count.

FERT REPORT - Got the call...12 out of the 14 eggs fertilized! DH and I are both so excited! We are planning a 5-day transfer on Saturday. They didn't give me any more info on our embies, but just knowing that they are there is enough! 12! We feel totally comfortable with our lab and know that our embies are in good hands. PUPO, here I come!

Need your HELP!!!! I am on my 3rd fresh cycle (also had 2 FET) and this is the first time that my 1st estrodiol level came back on the high side 102 ( I have been on lupron for 14 days and not started gonal -f yet, start on Friday) The RE said it is on the high side ( and at this begining stage my other levels have been between 50 -87) but he is going to start me anyway. Is this going to mean a failed cycle??
Please give me some kind of feedback, I am also going to post for Ghost.

I am just chilling and trying to relax and wishing my life away - well until test day - not sure if I will test before as test day is like an extra 2 days due to weekend - so nurse said could do HPT on the friday - but will see !!

Well the results are in.... My e2 levels still in the high end of the game. Cycle has been cancelled. I am now starting BCP for the next 21 days and then we will see whats happens from there. Seems like my e2 levels were going up because a 2cm cyst formed on my left side. Well i will definitely keep all you guys updated.
Rosario - I can totally relate to what you are going through...My cycle was canceled in May due to 2 gigantic cysts (both in the ballpark of 3.5 - 4 cms). I had been on lupron for a week, and they canceled on the day I was supposed to start stims. I actually don't know what my E2 levels were...I guess since they were so big, she knew she wasn't going to go forward anyways. I had little hope I would be able to get going again the following month since everything I read said about 2-3 cycles for cysts to disappear. I cried for a day then decided I was going to stay positive and do something about it.
Anyway, I went on BCPs, and I did acupuncture...three weeks later, I went back and one cyst was gone, the other had shrunk to half its size. She let me start back up on the lupron right away and said as long as the cyst wasn't functional (i.e., causing e2 level changes) or growing, that I would be able to go forward. I started my stims the following week and am now going in for ET on Saturday!
I was totally blindsided by the cyst problem when it surfaced, but I truly believe the AP helped shrink they cysts and made it possible for me to get to where I'm at right now. If you're not already doing AP, I highly recommend it. If you are, make sure you tell your APist what's going on so they can focus their treatment on ridding you of that cyst! I think it will help! They can also prescribe some herb supplements, although I did not go that route.
