chelly180 wrote:sameera- do you have any friends that recently gave birth or are bigger than you? If they make maternity clothes that will grow with you, then it wouldn't be so bad to buy some now. Do you work in an office where you have to dress up? Fortunately for me I wear scrubs, and my scrubs have drawstrings so I can wear them for quite a while! I can't wait to start showing...its so funny to tell people you are pregnant but you don't look it!

God Bless!

Hey Chelly,

You're not showing at all? Aren't you in the 2nd trimester?

Chelly - you are so funny!? I think your patients would understand if you have drool over your face :)

Yes, I have had those pains on my lower tummy - it feels more on my uterus though very low and when the pain starts I cannot concentrate it hurts!!

I dunno if it's uterus getting bigger or something else.. but I will ask my OB when I go to see her next week!

jim- glad to hear from you, you've been quiet lately! nope, not showing yet, and havent gained any weight. I am 11wk2d I've never had a flat stomach, just a little pooch but I haven't 'popped' out yet. I wish I would...its weird b/c I know I'm pregnant, but then I dont. I have my last RE appt on the 30th, then its off to the OB!

sameera- Thanks for the reassurance...sometimes those pain really hurt. But I haven't called the RE b/c its not cramping or bleeding, so I figure I'll just wait to ask at my next appt.

well, i thought my m/s was gone, but it reared its ugly head this morning, I feel like crap. And I have a long day...I work all day then I have to go renew my CPR tonight...I'll be gone practically 12 hours! But I did bring plenty of snacks so I don't starve!

God Bless!

Chelly - I hope your m/s really go away it sucks! try to eat crackers and stuff even though it isn't the best..

I am so not feeling good - yesterday i had fever and sinus headache, body ache you name it..

I took me some tylenol multisymptom and thought it would get better well it didn't, now I feel worse :(

I wish I was at home snoozing right now!! I don't think I have temp today but I feel like crap..

on top of it every night around 1 am or 3 am I have been getting up cause I am HUNGRY and starving - and I have to fix something to eat and then go back to sleep..

I still have 5-6 months to go - I dunno what I'm gonna do!!

sameera- I hope you feel better soon! sounds like you may have caught a cold or something. I am really paranoid about getting sick too, I am constantly washing my hands and I wash my face & change as soon as I get home from work. I have patients that have diseases so I am really careful with needles etc.
maybe you should go home sick and get some rest. I am so happy I have Mon & Fri off next week...so its only a 3 day week for me!!

Get well soon!

Chelly - I tried not to get sick but i dunno with all the ppl around me getting sick and my lil girl got sick last week!

it's kinda hard not to get sick no matter how many precautions you take :(

But I'm hanging in there and trying to feel better.. hopefully it will be gone soon.

sameera - sorry to hear you're sick. Hope you get better soon. I've been pretty lucky so far, but travelling by a crowded London Underground every day gets me worried. I carry an antbacterial spray around with me! I didn't know you had a little girl? How old is she? Do you mind me asking if she was IVF too? It must be tough to have to be responsible when you feel rubbish.

chelly - hope your m/s goes soon. Mine wasn't so bad last week, but got worse on Wednesday and last night I fell asleep on the train back from London (2 hours), then fell asleep in front of the TV, then went to bed at 10pm! Wierdly I fancied some meat and had some lasagne which was OK - first meat in about 6 weeks! I'm going to one of DH's friends for lunch on sunday and dreading what they will serve.:?

I sing in a choir and we have a concert tomorrow. I have to wear a costume which is basically a top with black trousers, but I may have to try a few alterations tonight or it could be embarrassing!
They don't know I'm PG. I hope they won't notice me stuffing my face with biscuits between songs to ward away the m/s demons!

Tin - I do carry disinfectant hand sanitizer but you know how it is when you have so many ppl around it's hard NOT to catch something..

I don't mind you asking me anything :) My lil girl is 3 1/2 yrs old, we named her Jasmine!!

We conceived her naturally when we weren't really trying or anything - I was shocked to learn that I was pregnant.

I have always had issues with endometriosis but after she was born it got worse and that's why I was having a lot issues getting pregnant again and being in pain!! so we finally decided to go with IVF - and I'm really glad that I did :)

Sameera - that must be so special for you. And what a perfect age to have a sibling - she will be old enough to give a little help and not be too jealous.

Tin - Yeah, she is always coming and talking to my belly and kissing the belly and saying how much she loves her baby brother and sister LOL..

even though we have no clue as of yet what we are having! Im sure she will get jealous a little because all these years she has had our attention and she is spoiled!!

Sameera - That's so sweet! Maybe, she'll be jealous but I have a couple of friends who had kids with 4 year age gap and it seemed OK. They made the older kid feel important and the kid felt really proud of the baby. A real life doll! What age do kids go to school where you are?

I guess pre-school. I suppose this is quite good timing - just when you have to deal with demands of new baby, Jasmine will be out for a while each day.

Hi girls!!
TGIF!!!! I am so ready for my long weekend!
DH is out of town again this weekend :( but my mom is coming to stay. I have been sooo tired, mom really helps me around the house and with my fur-babies.
My last PIO is tonight!!! I am soo excited!!!
What does everyone have planned for the 4th? DH wants me to go to his mom's side family reunion, but its at a lake, and I don't do 'outdoors' so good, and its even worse with my pregnancy. The idea of sitting outside in the hot Texas sun (100 degrees) does not thrill me. He thinks I'm being a weenie, but I don't want to get heatstroke or dehydrated. Duh right?!

Tin- I hope you get those "modifications" done to your pants! Does your choir group know you are PG?

Sameera- How are you feeling? You are almost to the weekend...then maybe you can catch up on rest! That is so sweet your little girl is excited about the babies! I don't know how my fur-babies will react....

God Bless!

We celebrate on July 1 in Canada, and I think we're just laying low this weekend.

I haven't had M/S like I had when I was pg with the twins, but I'm tired alot of the time.

Very excited to be so close to 12 wks, just one more to go. Honestly, though, no secret anymore. I'm way popped out already.
