Well ladies i wannt to thank you for all your love, caring, prayers, and support. However, the journey is over for me. I am absolutely gutted as this was our last shot. While I have not yet started my period, the HPT was as negative as negative goes. I will go ahead and go in for bloods on Monday, but I already know the outcome. Thank you for everything and best of luck to those of you still awaiting that bfp.

Oh, Robbo. Are you sure? Wasn't there someone else recently who took the hpt, got a neg but was still bfp?

If it really is the end of the road, I'm so sorry. It just isn't fair.

Hi all!

Robbo - Sorry to hear your news, but really - are you sure? I have not been keeping up as much lately, but how many days past were you? Are you going in for a blood test? I wish you the best of luck. This journey is so very hard.

Vicky - CONGRATS to you! Yeah!!! I am so happy for you. I just shared the news with Noah and asked him to please treat me as well as Benjamin has you and make the delivery go easily. I don't know why, but I am not scared. I figure whatever happens, is what will happen. But geez - if I labor for like 2 days, I will probably go in there and pull him out myself. I am so happy yours went so well. You are SO blessed!!!!

Ok all, gotta run. Crazy weekend - had our huge couple's shower and had friends in town all weekend. It was wonderful, though!

Hi all!

Robbo~ Sorry to hear you think you have a bfn but did you get your beta results today? I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Tina~ Good to hear from you. Is work still keeping you real busy? I can't believe you're 31 weeks already! Time flies!
I hope Noah got lots of stuff at the shower.

Vicky~ How's our baby Benjamin? We need pictures...but I'm sure you've been a little busy!

Angie~ Glad to hear wombat's room is finished. That's got to be a huge relief. How are you feeling? Have you been having contractions?

How is everyone else?

DH is off this week so we are doing lots of projects. Stainging the deck, cleaning the siding, etc. Lots of very exiting stuff!
Our dog is sick AGAIN. I took her to the vet yesterday and on top of the diahrrea she has (which he thinks she has developed a sensitivity to the preservatives in ALL dog food), she has a bacterial skin infection. We truly have the million dollar dog! It's insane how many things have been wrong with this dog in her lifetime. My sister always says she better be glad she got you guys as parents because noone else on this earth would have dealt with her for this long! Poor baby!

Talk to eeryone soon.

Hi everyone.

Robbo--Thinking about you. Hope you're hanging in there.

Angie--Tired of being pregnant yet? I bet you're ready to meet that baby already!Don't worry if you're not having any contractions--I didn't have any Braxton Hicks or anything until the night I went into labor. I was worried that I wouldn't recognize a contraction, and wouldn't know that i was in labor but trust me, you'll know it when you get it! It's like a menstral cramp times 2000!

Vicky--Hope you're enjoying motherhood. Remember, these first 2 months are the hardest simply because of the lack of sleep. It gets easier as you and the baby figure out a routine! Hope things are well.

Sassy---How's the trio doing? Hope you're feeling okay. Can't imagine that being pregnant with triplets in Las Vegas during the summer is easy!

Nickster--Poor dog. I'm glad he has you to keep him in vet's bills! I love my dog, too, so I can totally relate! Try not to do too many yucky projects...enjoy your summer while it's here!

Fee--How's Rio? What's he up to these days?

Ditto to Jen and Anna!

Lucy is doing great. She's into eating dog food now, which is unfortunate! I keep catching her munching down at the dog's bowl. And she gets soooo mad at me when I take it out of her mouth. It's so gross. My dh would be aghast if he knew---luckily he's never seen her do it and I'm not going to be the one to tell him about it! I read an article recently about how it's good to expose your babies to a little dirt now and then to help out their immune system, so that's my new favorite reference! "A little dirt won't hurt her!" I'm sure the same can be said about dog food! She's just about walking--and has the bruises on her face to prove it! She looks like an abused child. Poor thing.
Well, Lucy and I are officially leaving for vacation tomorrow, so we'll be off line for 2 weeks. We're going to Cape Cod--can't wait! Our family is lucky enough to have a house there (my stepdad is originally from there) and we try to spend time there every summer. 2 weeks of just hanging out at the beach--I can't wait! Hope it's a good two weeks for all!

Hi everyone - have a great holiday Meg - hope Lucy enjoys the beach - I think if my geography of the US is correct there is a beach at cape cod! Keep her away from the dog food now! (although I guess it's all meat - some pet food these days looks very high quality!)

Tina - glad the baby shower went well - did you receive some lovely gifts. Baby showers aren't really tradition here but my friends put on a small one for me with afternoon tea (mmm! home made cakes!) and I received some lovely items including a funky nappy bag.

Robbo - sorry to hear your news. I hope you can come to terms with it - did you get the official result?

Nickster - sorry about your pooch but sounds like she has very caring parents - hope she is well soon. Good luck with all the projects - we will have projects to do in this house until we retire I think!

Vicky - are you home yet - how is little Benjamin?

Sassy - we need a triplet update please - hope you are feeling well and not too hot - I know when it was hot here in my 2nd tri I was really struggling - am thankful I am having a winter baby.

Jenn and Fee - hope you are well and Anna and Rio are too.

Well I guess I am still pottering along - getting a bit bored at home now - have done all the chores I want to do - still putting off the ones I don't want to do (like going through my superannuation - boring!) Weekly check ups all fine, feet are a bit swollen but doesn't matter as I am living in my uggg boots . Next Monday is the next check up - I will have a trace put on to check movements etc. If all well I will come home and then if no labour happens next week, I am going to be induced on the SUnday. I would prefer not to be induced but also have to weigh that up against leaving wombat in there for too long and dr j wants to be cautious given the IVF background.

So best scenario is natural labour in the next 10 days - bring it on - send me some sista vibes! NO sign of anything yet I must say - not even a twinge!

Well I had better and keep an eye on our cleaners -I still have the cloth phobia - hope they are using a separate one for the toilet!

Bye for now.

Hello sistas! Sorry I have been so out of touch lately. Things just got crazy lately with work and everything else. My husband and I sometimes pick the strangest time to take on certain projects. We just started on a pool about a week ago! So, Noah is due on Aug 21st. My husband graduates on August 14th - yeah! The pool should be finished mid-August. Could we cram anything else into the month of August??? :?

Vicky - Hope you and Benjamin are doing splendid! Can't wait to see pics!

Angie - Wow! I didn't even realize you were that close. I mean, I knew your little one was due in July, but holy crap! It is right around the corner!! How exciting!!! I am still predicting boy, but for some reason I am starting to think girl all of a sudden. Hmmmm....not sure. Can't wait to find out! I am glad the wombat's room has finally made its transition. You must be getting excited. I am sure the last week is tough being so tired and swollen. I have to admit that I am starting to feel it all now. It is this damn back pain that is killing me....but then again, I have been dealing with this since March. Oh well! You can count on me to send you some sista vibes for you to go into labor ASAP! My due date prediction is July 3rd. :)

Meg - Enjoy your vacation!!! How fun! Oh - and I have three little nephews and they love dog food. My brother thinks it is funny, but truly I think it bothers my sister-in-law a tad. They will get down on their knees and eat out of the dog's bowl!!

Nickster - Your poor doggy! I think I have mentioned before that I have three big dogs and they are truly my babies right now. Each one of them has had an issue of some kind lately and man - does it add up!! They are all in the 8-9 year old range, so unfortunately they are getting up there in their little doggy years. I hope your pooch is doing better! What the heck can you feed him if he is allergic to all dog food?? How is work going?

Robbo - Any official news from the doctor? I just hate to see this not work out for you. It just isn't fair!! I just wish the best for you. Are you sure you won't try again?

Jenn - How are you? Roasting in the hot weather? I know I am!!!

Sassy - We need a triplet update!

Fee - where are you? You are entirely too quiet! How is Rio???

Ok sistas, I posted a pic from the shower this weekend. I look huge - I am blaming it on the dress personally! It was quite the party! My best friend hosted it at her house and we had close to 50 people there. There was a margarita machine, pina coladas, beer, wine, and lots of food. Noah did quite well for himself! We had friends from my childhood, college friends, grad school friends, neighbors, work friends - everyone came. I was so touched. My college roommate drove down with her husband and 8 week old baby and they spent the weekend with us, along with my husband's best friends from Denver. We had a full house! Noah even got - are you ready for this - china from Tiffany & Co!!!!! Is that not funny??? My Executive Asst from my old job bought him that! My little kiddo is going to be one stylin' dude!!! So, with the gift cards we got, I went and bought everything else we need. I think we are ready! Our childbirth class is this Saturday. I can't believe how time flies!! :)

Take care and talk with you all soon!!!

Hey girls!

Angie~ poor thing- this last stretch to wait is the worst! any day now huh? I don't think I had any contractions either before I went into labor. you will know when you get one! Keep us posted- i'll be praying for an easy delivery for you!

Tina- You look great in the dress! Sounds like your shower was a success! You are in the home stretch too. I was very impatient toward the end! You do have a busy August coming up! A pool will be nice though- it is HOT!

Vicky~ hope you and baby are doing great. His room looks cute! Let us know how you are doing!

Sassy- hope you and your trio of fun are doing well!!

Fee- how is Rio?

Nickster- Sorry about your dog. They are family members! I hate to see mine sick!

Meg~ have fun in Cape Cod. Sounds wonderful!

Robbo- I have been thinking of you. I am sorry about your bfn, and to hear this is the end of the road. That is hard. This just isn't fair.

Well, have a good rest of the week everyone. This is the last weekend in a while that we don't have plans. I will be relaxing by the pool I think! Summers are busy!

Meg~Hope you and Lucy have a great vacation! Take some good pictures for us!

Tina~ I thought you looked adorable at your shower. And..I like that dress, a lot! Glad to hear Noah got so much stuff. Sounds like after that shower all you need is him!

Angie~ I'm hoping to hear any time that wombat has arrived. I hope he or she comes without having to be induced, but I guess if it has to happen it certainly won't be the worst thing. Speaking of he or she..I'm starting to side with Tina, I'm thinking girl. Not sure why, just a vibe! I guess we will find out real soon!

Jenn~ Sounds like you will have a relaxing weekend. I want to be by the pool this weekend, but unfortuantely I have to work. Summers are busy, don't you hate that? I LOVE summer but sometimes I really do dread that every day off work (and especially weekends) there's so many things to do. How's Anna? We need new pictures.

Sassy~ How are you lady?

Vicky~ I hope everything is going well. Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Fee~ How are ya?

My dog is getting better. So far the diahrrea is gone but if history repeats itself it will be back. Tina to answer your question, we COOK her food. Yes you read that right. I joke that I cook more for her than I do for us! We have to boil hamburger and mix it with steamed rice. So when she's on that alone she does just fine but when we try to mix her food back in with it she starts back up again. We've tried several different foods and now we are in the process of mixing in some kind of prescription food that we can only get at the vets office. So we'll see how it goes.
I'll talk to everyone soon. Have a good weekend!

ok- That is enough talk about doggie diarrhea!! I just came home to it AGAIN!! What is wrong with her. I had 4 poopy diapers this morning and then I come home to poop on my floor. I have had it! She can't do it on the tile either, it has to be right in the middle of the family room. Why???? I guess we will be having the carpets cleaned AGAIN!! They are going to know me by name at the carpet cleaning place if this keeps up!

Aww Jenn...I am sooo sorry, I jinxed you again! I promise from now on, I will keep my diahrrea stories to myself. But if it makes you feel better, we too are on a first name basis with the carpet cleaners!
Well I hope things are better and I hope you're weekend is going as relaxing as you planned.

Oh dear ladies - I hope the diahrear jinx doesn't extend to adults and babies - don't want any of this heading my way.

Well - I am still here - all test this morning were fine and I am booked in for induction on Sunday night if nothing happens before - so this time next week it will all be happening as it's now Monday pm here. WOW!

Had a few period like cramps on and off but not at all strong and I think the mucus plug is coming out - but only very gradually. Let's hope nature takes it course.

This week I am planning to hibernate - it is going to be cold so I am going to sleep and eat. I made a carrot cake with cream cheese icing and can't stop eating it . Oh well - it's my last week so I can eat what I like!

Hope you are all doing well.

Angie~ I had period like cramps all day before I went into labor. I thought it was nothing. Then I woke up that night with what I knew was a contraction! Maybe you are in the early stages!! I hope so. Maybe you better finish that carrot cake soon, b/c you may be headed to the hospital before long...

I am hoping for a safe and easy labor for you and your little one, good luck!!

Angie - How exciting!!! You are almost there! I can't wait to find out what you are having!

All is good here - little Noah weighed 4 pounds, 10 oz today. That seems huge to me considering my size, but oh well! The scan was great - he is doing perfectly, fluid level is good - all just wonderful. However, I appear to be growing larger by the minute. I am starting that stage where you just start to look BIG. Oh well!

Nickster - you cook your dog's food??? You are a way better pet owner than I am! My dogs are lucky some days that we drop food in their bowls!!

Where is Sassy???
