Wooo Hooo. The board is humming!!! Just took 5 days with DH in Santa Barbara & it was so nice to get away & not think about everything.

Dakota Way to go...def looks like more than 1...how exciting. Prunes are actually as good, if not better than the juice because of the fiber & skin. So go ahead. I also took natural fiber tabs from Whole Foods morning and night. You have to take about 10 a day, but along with the prunes and dried unsulphered ( the dark ones) apricots it helped a lot. Also ground flax seed sprinkled on anything helps too..it's a good lube.

Queenie I'm so sorry to hear, but you go girl!! It's a numbers game & your attitude is great!

Ads I hate that waiting time for ET...waaay too many decisions. I'm glad you'll have frosties...that's great. I don't know how old you are, but if early 30's then def no more than 2.. I wouldn't go more than that with blasts. Congrats though...it's good to have choices :)

Prawnster Thinking of you in Spain...hope those HPT's are getting darker & darker.

IMblessed I switched to Endometrin sups. It's like a dry hard pill, so not as much leakage. It came out eventually, but not really messy. Only problem is, it's new so more expensive than the others.

EmmyCongrats on the Twins!! Woo hoo...hopefully it;s one of each :)

Turtles Thinking about you...just enjoy the rest and being PUPO!!!!

BabyGurl Hope you're ok!! I just went through the same thing & it's so hard waiting....I feel for you & am saying a prayer.

Baby dust all around for everybody still waiting!!!!!

Hello ladies! Well, the waiting is not getting easier...I'm not getting anything done around the house even though I took the week off of work, because I am just too distracted! Finally today I got out on a nice bike ride (before the storms set in...again...)

Transfer is tomorrow morning at 9:30...we have to be there about 45 minutes beforehand, and they make us stay for two hours afterwards. That should be loads of fun! Then...it will be me and my embies...waiting it out (oh, and DH also :) ).

We decided to transfer two embies. Although we both originally thought 3, we really started questioning that right before we went in for ER. Input that some of you provided helped reinforce the reasons we were hesitant. So...it's our first shot, I'm still pretty young, and things have been going well so far...we are very optimistic that we'll have a BFP even with 2 embies. Hopefully we'll have some to freeze, as well.

Dakota - I have a friend that swears 4-5 dried apricots do the trick...you may also want to try that. Hope you're feeling better soon!

Turtles - That's too bad that your PIO shots started hurting! Every time my DH gives me mine, I cringe and whine beforehand. They haven't really hurt yet, but you've just reinforced my fear!!! lol

MzTia - Any news yet?

CRWJ - How did your U/S go??

HopefulinIL - Your beta numbers rock! Congrats!

Angram - You are so strong not POAS! How have you been feeling? I don't know about your lab/doc, but I always seem to get much quicker results phone calls on the weekends...hope you won't have to be waiting too long on Sunday! Hoping and praying for you!!!

Jude - Did you get an update on how your embies are doing? Are you going in tomorrow for ET? What time? Where do you live, Jude? Will be thinking of you!!

Question for everyone...What does your screen name mean? Mine is my screen name for a hockey forum I visit sometimes to ask questions about what's going on with my favorite players (kind of dorky, I know) The Milwaukee Admirals are an AHL Hockey Team that my husband and I have season tickets to...hence AdsGirl (It was still hockey season when I started visiting the IVF forums...hockey was on the brain!)

Have a great afternoon and weekend everyone! I will definitely post tomorrow after ET. Wish me luck!! Sorry for the super long post...I guess being isolated from the world all week has made me a little extra chatty!

Adsgirl - I think the reason they hurt is because he is doing them to slow now. Before he jabbed real quick, but lately he has lost his nerve and is more hesitant. Last night bled quite a bit  and freaked him out so I hope he goes back to the way he used to be.
As for my name, it is from a fantasy football name my husband came up with. He knows I love turtles and saw a bunch of turtles on a stump and voila. Of course I stole the name because I love it and it is never taken!!
Do you know if you take valium before transfer? I did and man did I need it. I didn't realize how anxious I would be. I also stayed 2 hours after and ended up taking a nap.

Hello Ladies,

I just got back from having my BETA drawn and the nurse agrees with all the negative HPT's it will most likely be negative so they will schedule me for a follow up with the Doc. Hopefully I can come up more cash I feel like I just flushed 18k down the toilet. She said I have to wait 3 months to try again that is just sooo sooo long. Well I guess 2 months one natural cycle then one on BCPs. I just have to get it in this year for the tax write off. Isn't it just awful to have to worry about taxes when doing something like this.

Good luck witht he ET's this weekend, I will be thinking up embies so happy to be back in their mommas thye just ahve to stay put.

I will post when i get my official results but for now looks like I will stare at the walls at work.

Oh quick question for the Rinne and the AP ladies. How often are you going to AP in preperation for you next cycle. I went weekly for hte month prior to this one but now that I have 2-3 months I am not sure how often is needed to be effective. I iwll be honest I so don't look forward to those needles, they hurt me everytime they are put in but wow I do feel great afterwards.

Back to work.

Have a great day!

MzTia - I'm so sorry to hear about the negative results and I wish you the very best of luck on your next round!

AdsGirl - The 2ww is also driving me insane and I swear has only gotten worse these past couple of days. I think I'm actually making myself sick today with worry, analyzing every single thing I feel or don't feel :) I've been cramping since Monday afternoon, boobs are absolutely killing me, peeing like crazy, but pretty sure all of these symptoms are caused by progesterone! Anyhoo, I'll see if I make it tomorrow morning without POAS'ing, I'm just not sure I can hold off any longer!!! Oh yeah, my screen name is boring..just part of my first and last name..Angela :)

Hope everyone is doing well..gotta run to eat lunch and will do more personals later.

Hi everyone Thanks for all the warm wishes and prayers. Beta went from 17 to 21 in 2 days. No longer on any meds. Went in for blood today ,waiting for dr to call. How long before AF? Is it going to be bad? Wondering how long before I can try again?

Tip for the injections....I have been induring these wonderful 1 1/2 inch needles for the progesterone for the last 5 weeks. I have learned to put a frozen bag of whatever I have in the freezer on the "injection site" for at least 10-15 minutes before hand. I no longer feel a thing when my husband does it. However you must put a warm compress on that area immediately afterwards. This cuts down on the bumps and bleeding.

As for constipation... I agree 100% with the apricot suggestion! It worked for me!

Have a great weekend everyone! :D

Angram- You still hangin in there? I tell ya, yuo are a champion for holding out  I bet it is killing you!!! 2 1/2 more days, actually if you really think about it, it is only 1 full day. Your symptoms sounds great :D
Hang in there!!

Jude- taht is gerat that you got 4 fertilized eggs. Wow!! GL on Sat. Cant wait to hear how your little embies turned out.

Turtles- You are silly already POAS. ALthough I cant say much as I POAS at 6dp5dt. Am I going to ehar you screaming all the way in GA when you get your first faint line? I thought I was going to pass out. I literaly started sweating like a pig. The back of my shirt was soaked. I said "omg" like 35 times. Just a few more days for you!!!

Adsgirl- Good luck tomorrow. I know you cant wait to have your little ones bak with you. Get lots of rest and tell DH you need much pampering.
My screen name in after North Dakota. It's our dream place. So peacefull!! We recently bought a big farm there and are leasing it back to the farmer awaiting for when we can move there.

MzTia- I am still routing for you!! I started AP a few weeks before BCP's. I was going to start 3 months prior but I had out of state funerals to go to back to back so it put things off for a while.

I wish I could get my U/S next week!!! Aaahhh!!! I have the patience of a wild boar.

I hope all is well with everyone. Besides today, we have 3 beta's in the next week??? We need to end the month with a HUGE bang!!! Come on BFP!!!! Lots of sticky baby dust!!!

So sorry to hear your news. the 2 months will fly by then it will be your time !!

Adsgirl
No US for me yet. I need to wait for the 9th July. I am so upset my clinic doesnt do Betas and will make me wait to 7 weeks before the US.

I have just passed the point where I m/c the last time. I am so nervous it is going to happen again. Every time I go to the loo I feel it might be over! Need to pick myself out of this "low" and celebrate that we are where we are!

Have a great weekend everyone!

cwj- Have you thought about going to your Reg Dr and getting a blood test done to ease your mind? I dont know how thigns work over there and if you can even do that, and if so if it is really expensive, but it may be worth a thought? You need to draw your blood and send it to SDtrying, she knows how to be sneeky

You'll get your U/S the same week as me. I have not finished my serious of Beta's yet, but I will next week then the u/s the 2nd week in July. How are we going to make it that far? Women amaze me making it through the 9 months and still coming out sane. I'm barley 5 weeks and I feel and look like I've stuck my finger in a socket I am so worried  .

MzTia - I am so so so so sorry to hear the news. Take what you've learned from this cycle and do everything you can to get that BFP next time around! Praying for you and your DH...

CWRJ - I don't know why I thought you had an U/S yesterday...I just got confused. I can't believe your clinic doesn't to betas! Try to keep your PMA, girl...congrats on getting past where you m/c last time...that has got to be a great feeling...I know you must be so worried, but try to enjoy this time! You are Prego!!

ftg - It was YOU that was supposed to have an U/S yesterday...how did it go? How are you feeling?

Dakota - What makes you love ND? Where do you live now? I grew up in MN and have also lived in CO, NJ and now WI. I love the northern midwest states...the open space, the great people and the beautiful scenery...It's not very often you hear of people dreaming of living in ND...but I totally understand why!

Hey ladies--

Just wanted to let you know that I am still reading everyday even though I don't have much to post.

Mztia-- sorry to hear your news. Take time to heal.

Babygurl-- my AF after my chemical wasn't horrible, but it lasted 2 weeks and two days were pretty heavy. My AF came three days after I stopped my meds.
