Day 3 Transfer - Question

Post by Bree08 »

Hi ladies,

I had my day 3 transfer on wednesday of this week. I lay low on the day of transfer but the following day. I ran an errand and walked (slowly). My sister said I may have done damage to the cycle . since then, I've been laying low. I still experience cramps, was wondering if anyone give me advice. I also took an over the counter test to see if I'm pregnant but it came up negative. I'm afraid and know i should just wait.

Congrats Angram I am SO excited for you!!
I had my blood test last Thursday and everything looks really good, they said that my BETA was over 600 and that was really good. So I went today for another blood test and I won't have my results til Monday. Oh well, they said not to be worried that everything looks good. I am so happy I don't know what to do!!!

9dp5dt and still BFN when POAS....I'm starting to worry, I mean I know I have to wait until my beta but i see all these BFP and wonder what's wrong with me??? I have not had any symptoms lately except some mild cramping but it lasts a few minutes and that's it gone for a day or so. One thing DH noticed my BB's are swollen for the first time throughout this whole process he was pleasntly suprised. Another thing is I continue to wake up with a headache that is ongoing don't know if that means anything. I'm still hoping I'm testing to early...

Hi all you 2WW ladies,

I joined you today with my ET of 3 little embies, so roll on the 11th!!
Decided this time to POAS for sure, last time I waited for the Beta and it sucked hearing the BFN from someone else..

Hi Bree08 - my nurse and RE say that you can rest on the first day, and then try and stay off your feet a fair bit for the next day or two - but you can go to dinner or something like that, and just to avoid any heavy lifting/exercise.

I'm sure you've done no harm to your chances. Did you have a 3 or 5 day transfer - either way it's still to early to see a +ve - have to wait somewhere between 10 and 15 days post retrieval so don't worry

Roll on all the BFPs!! :D

cheekskuss - Take good care of yourself and your family. Great 4th beta!!

jude - Congrats again on the ET, being PUPO, and welcome to the 2ww club :)

MsSassy - Try to keep the PMA, I'm hoping for the best on your beta. Try not to think something is wrong with you, although I know it's hard when this process doesn't work. I went through the same thing my last cycle, but I tried my best to be strong and know my time would come. Best of luck to you.

Chrissy - Wow a beta over 600, that is oustanding. Congratulations!

Bree - Congrats on the ET and try not to worry. All RE's seem to be a bit different with their recommendations, so I'm sure you're perfectly fine moving about. Just as Jude said, just be sure to avoid heavy lifting and exercise.

I'm eager to hear my 1st beta tomorrow, hoping for a nice high number. My goodness, the waiting game never ends on this wonderful journey :)

cheekskuss- Great 4th beta!!! Wow, you are on your way. When do you get your first u/s? I am felling good. Really tired, I had my first bout of nausia today, but it onlu lasted about 10 mins. I get my 3rd beta on Tues then I can schedule my u/s.

How are you ladies hanging in there? Its a rough 2 weeks, but you can do it. Keep the PMA and try not to read into every little thing. I did and STILL am and its enough to drive you looine

Angram- How many times did you POAS today? I think my record for 1 day was 3!!! hehehe...

Dakota - I actually can't wait to have some nausea, what a sick thought huh :) I have seriously bad indigestion tonight after eating pizza, wondering if this is a sign of things to come. I only bought a 2-pack HPT yesterday, so one last night and one this morning...had to make sure :D Not planning to do anymore right now, just going to wait for my beta tomorrow.

MsSassy - PMA is positive mental attitude :)

Dakota- They did'nt give me any exact numbers, and they did'nt give a number for progestrone? Should I ask next time? For some reason I will have taken all of my beta tests before I get any of them back, something about my insurance. So Moday I will get Saturdays and then on Tuesday I will get Mondays, its weird!
