Gosh, is it only midday already!!

On this side of the pond, planning on going out on the boat to watch the fireworks on the 4th - all idle zone, so shouldn't be any bumping around to speak of. No swimming though

My test date is July 11th. Although I think I will def. POAS on the 10th and count that as the result unless the blood says otherwise.....

I need some encouraging stories right now. My beta came back at 4 and my p4 back at 11. I am feeling really discouraged. They told my I am POSITIVE! But not BIG FAT. They said anything greater than 2 was considered positive. I am crying and feeling terrible. This is what I am thinking last thursday 5dp3dt they checked my levels because of my OHSS and my beta was 3 and my p4 33, so it went down!!!!!!!!!! The called to tell me to increase my progesterone and take it easy. I just wanted a BFP with great numbers. I am scared it is chemical!! Anyone have any positive stories?

jcurlygirl - I am so sorry that I don't have a story to share with you similar to what you're experiencing...but I HAVE seen BFPs come from single-digit first betas! Keep the faith!! Also, I wouldn't even think about the numbers from 5dpt...the hcG number there is irrelevant...I can't believe they even shared it with you...in the meantime, your hcG may have dropped back to 0 (from the trigger) and is now climbing again. I know it's hard, but try to stay positive...I'll be praying for you!

Jcurlygirl, sorry that your beta has come back and is not one way or the other. I am praying that it goes up. For them to tell you that it is positive, is a good sign.

Hey guys its been forever!! Well I got my BFP!! I am so happy my first beta was over 600 and my second was over 1600, they don't give me exact numbers for some reason?!??! They called me today and want me to go in tomorrow for my us, I am only like 5 weeks, I am worried that something might be wrong, anyone think so?

jcurlygirl - I am sorry you have such a hurdle to cross. Try to keep up the PMA even though it is so hard. I'll be praying your next beta is a huge number!!

JCURLY - I would think it might be a little early and if you had a late implanter then that could be the reason for your low beta. Like in PP the other #'s could have been the trigger shot leaving your system. Hope your next Beta is a lot higher.

Chrissy - CONGRATS on your BFP!!!! Those are awesome #'s. I don't know why they would want you to come in so early for u/s. I know most places don't have you come in till 6 weeks so then you might hear the heartbeat. Maybe they want to check for twins since your #'s are so good.

I was suppose to be sharing news with you guys by now. Sucks my cycle was cancelled . Well I have to still wait another 2 weeks until i finish off the 3 wk BCP i am on. ANyways i just wanted some insight... I have wanted to more or less get an idea for the future how many embryos i should implant when i get to the end of this journey. I would like to know how many you guys implanted

Hi Rosario - sorry to hear about your cycle .. did they say why cancelling it?

In Uk you are only allowed to trasfer maximum of 2 embryos - although trying to get legislation through at moment to reduce to 1 due to high number of IVF multiple births ... all decisions prob made by peole never had to deal with IF

Am sure in US its more as am sure have read some have transferred 3 and 4 embies

Sorry I have been mia for a while. I was out of town until a few days ago and I didn't have any real news. I have been pretty down and didn't want to be a bummer to the rest of ya'll. I had my beta on last Friday and had a 21 but I had an hcg booster shot on the previous Monday. The nurse said that the 21 could be from the booster or from being preg. so I tested again today and I am still waiting for the results. I don't feel very good because the number went down from 54 to 21. Also today is 17dp3dt and I know that the numbers should be really high by now.

The awaiting treatment thread under general forum is a good venting ground come and join us on there as I am only one on that thread at moment having treatment so we all understand how you feel
