Chelly - yay on your last PIO! no more shots on your tush :)
I agree with you about NOT wanting to sit in the 100 degrees and humidity of Texas.. that would make you tired !!!

I'm doing so much better than i did yesterday and a day before that! so glad this sickness didn't last too long :)

I was hoping to go do a family thing this weekend and watch some fireworks with my lil girl but my DH ruin the whole plan..

He said my hormones are driving him nuts to the point where he is going to have a heart attack!! WTF i mean really all i said is - why does he have to go to his friends 27TH b-day party instead of going with us and hanging out as a family and watch fireworks..

he said I was being mean blah blah..whatever I don't care! I'm gonna take my daughter to do something on Saturday :)

Ok, enough whining about my DH and my problems...

Denise - Enjoy your July 1st celebration!! yay on getting closer to the 12th week mark. It's wonderful to make it this far and hope everything stays good through out the pregnancy :)

Good morning! Hope you all had good weekends.

Chelly - hooray for no more injections! I'm so relieved I had pessary progesterone - I couldn't bear jabs for this long. Well I had my choir concert and I think I managed to conceal my bump. My top was a bit big for me before I was PG, so there was a bit of space to grow, but it was still bulging out if people looked. I held my music in front of my bump mostly and sucked my tummy in when I could, so noone could see - I hope it wasn't obvious! I wouldn't want to do 100 degree heat - fortunately there's no chance of that over here unless I climb in the oven! Tell DH that it's not good for PG people to overheat! Does his family know yet?

Denise - you must be close in dates to me, as I also have 1 week to go before 12 weeks. My EDD is 20 Jan. It's so exciting, but I'm a bit nervous about the scan (I'm having mine at 13 weeks as DH is not around the week before) as I haven't seen baby since 7 weeks. I'm also popping out, but have worn very baggy clothes in the hope people are stupid and not noticing! Happy 1st July!

Sameera - loads of sympathy over silly DH. He thinks that your hormones are driving him mad - what about the hormones driving you mad?! Hope you enjoyed the fireworkds anyway. Glad your m/s is going away. I thought mine was, but it's been its worst yet this week.

Good Morning ladies! Hope everyone had a great weekend..

My weekend was horrible I started bleeding on Saturday and had to go to ER and spent most of my saturday there.. They couldn't tell WHY I was bleeding but they did the ultrasound and both babies were doing well and had strong heart beats..

I was crying and crying cause I didn't know what to expect! they put me on bed rest told me to call my OB first thing Monday..

Today I'm at work and I'm still stress about this bleeding cause it hasn't stopped!!

Originally I had my appt scheduled for this Thursday but I might see if she can squeeze me in for early appt and make sure everythign okay and nothing serious..

I tell you what though this scared the c-r-a-p out of me!! I have never experienced bleeding with my first pregnancy so this is new to me and OMG was I crying!!

anyways hope you'll have a great day!

Oh Sameera, how horrible. At least they still have good heartbeats. I hope your OB can see you sooner as it's very stressful to worry. Can't you take any time off work today? I can't imagine what you're going through. Thinking of you.

I went to my OB appt - they did the detailed u/s and both babies were moving around and doing great!

Baby A : 13w 6d
Baby B: 13w 4d

I'm officially 14weeks pregnany YAY!! I cried and cried cause I wanted to make sure everything was fine and they are doing great and they looked so big!!

I go back again in 2 weeks for another scan and appt. Looking forward to that

OB said try to take it easy as much as possible and no intercourse till the bleeding has stopped - she said to do Pelvic rest LOL whatever that means..

She said blood looks to be old blood but if anytime I feel like I need another scan or need to see the doctor to call and come in - because they understand how stressful it is when you are bleeding, so that was a relief!!

Ladies I'm all happy that I get to see and hear my babies

Hope you guys are having a great day!

Hooray hooray hooray! I was thinking of you last night and hoping that everything would be fine, so I was really relieved to see your message this morning. Good that you have a sympathetic OB. I haven't met mine yet, so I hope I have one too!

Now you can get back to enjoying the progress of your little tots!

Really happy for you.

sameera- oh, honey I am so sorry to hear about your traumatic weekend! The good news is that the babies are healthy and ok! I would react the same way you did to the bleeding...praise God the twins are safe! So they really didn't have a reason for the bleeding? Maybe you had a blood vessel spring a leak...I guess DH ended up staying home with you right?! Keep your feet propped up at work! Oh darn, no intercourse....hmmm it is doctors orders! I think you were perfectly within your bounds to ask your DH to spend time with family vs. a b-day party for his pal...I would have done the same thing. Nothing is more important than family!

TinNotts- So your choir concert went well? At least the rumors haven't started flying! I wish I was showing already...I actually lost 2 pounds! I have PIO free since Friday and it is so great!

As for me...I am offically 12 weeks today!!! YAYYYY!!! My last RE appt was yesterday...they gave us a DVD of the sono...baby is so cute swimming around! I am offically graduated to my OB's hands...my appt is next week. I thought my M/S was going away but I had a really rough weekend, I have been having aweful migranes (plus DH was out of town). The I so desperately wanted pancakes yesterday...so we had some with OJ...bad idea...it all came back up within the hour. That was the 1st time I have vomited during my PG...and (TMI) is was projectile!! So I was totally wiped out the rest of the day, luckily I was off.
Today I am still queasy, so its back to soups and toast.

God Bless!

Chelly - glad to hear from you - I was wondering where you went!!
I'm sorry about your M/S that just sucks! may be you should ask your OB when you go in next week about m/s and see if they could give you something..

I hope you feel better real soon :) and Yay on your 12 weeks!

I get to go in 2 weeks for another u/s and check up hopefully I will find out then if i'm having girls or boys or both :)

yes, my dh ended up staying home lol after all my whining and complaining I end up being on bed rest and he ended up taking care of me LOL - I still love him, he is my life!!

yep no intercourse no nothing she said pelvic rest and she said try to take it easy as much as possible.

Thank god my cervix was closed when she checked and i think she is gonna start checking for that every time i go in - I hate that!!

Tin - thanks for worrying about me but you need to NOT worry but relax :) after all you are pregnant too :) you are too sweet and kind dear!!

Sameera, thank goodness everything is ok. No vacuuming or heavy lifting either.

We were off sex during pg with our twins too, poor dh.

Officially 12 wks on Friday for me. Probably about time I fixed my ticker too.

this is a dumb question, but how do they check if your cervix is closed? Oh, and are the OB sono's transvag or abdominal? I have no idea what to expect since its my 1st!
OH, this is funny. DH swears we are having a boy...he said he could see the wee-wee on the sono...he was like, oh I'll show you on the DVD...the tech just didn't want to say cause its early. I'm telling you, he wants a boy so freekin bad its ridiculous. He refuses to call the baby "she", he always says "he". To be honest, I always wanted a boy 1st.
I mean, I want a girl b/c we are so much fun  ...but then i always dreamed about being the football/basketball mom with all the picture buttons. And belive me, if we have a son, DH will probably have him in sports as soon as he can walk. DH is the type that he will play catch with our son, and teach him boy things, and camping, fishing etc.

anyway, enough blabbing.
God Bless!

Denise - How are you doing?

Chelly - the OB usually stick her finger down there and check to see if your cervix is closed.

so far all my ultrasounds done by OB's office are done via abdominal - which i'm happy about - i hate those transvaginal ultrasounds.

Aww, your dh sounds funny! well when you want something so badly i guess you believe it till the end LOL unless proven otherwise!

so i really hope for your dh sakes that you end up having a boy and maybe when you do decide to try for second one - I really hope you have a Girl :)

Chelly - yes, the concert went well, but I don't know if there are any rumours. I was meant to be going to Korea for an international conference that I had organised but it happened during my 2ww and I pulled out as I couldn't face long-haul flight plus doing PG test in a hotel room by myself. My CEO told me that loads of people there who know me asked if I was PG?!!!! He doesn't know - but there seems to be speculation worldwide!

Tell DH that girls play sports and go camping too! I was a tom boy - I went to see our team play soccer every week with my dad and I played all sorts of sports myself, so my parents could still scream and support me! I'm sure you'll both love whatever it is and they will drive you equally crazy!

Congrats on 12 weeks! Shame about the pancake/OJ event! Hope it's just a blip and you'll be back improving soon.

Sameera - can't help being concerned! We're all sharing our journeys. But glad it's all fine. I don't know how anyone feels like sex anyway - too busy falling asleep feeling sick! Poor DH? I suppose, but is he feeling sick every day? At least he can eat, drink and be merry! Hehehe! (See, I'm not that sweet!)

Tin - I still think you are sweet LOL you are hilarious :)

How are you feeling??

I'm so ready for the weekend so I can rest - bah i feel like my body is so exhausted and over worked it's not even a joke!!

I have to clean my house it's a mess and I asked my sis in law if she would help me and she said she would but my DH is freaking out!!

Bah, he doesn't want to ask for help but I said what's wrong with asking for help - I cannot pick or move around a whole lot - i'm after all on modified bedrest and would like this house cleaned over the weekend since we are off - But NOoooo he wants to do it all and he takes forever to clean anything...

Hi Sameera, Doing fine, I suppose. I'm exhausted pretty much every day and feel sick if I don't eat regularly, but I'm managing OK and the sickness is not as bad as a lot of people's. I'm just relieved that there are no scares. My boobs are a bit itchy! I keep having to stick my hand down my bra for a scratch! How ladylike! Looking forward to my scan on 14 July! Just hope it's all OK.

I'm lucky with DH and cleaning - he is very good and cleans more than me anyway. (Though sometimes a bit annoying as he clears up things I'm in the middle of and makes me clear up everything before I go to bed, when I'd prefer to do it in the morning). Maybe if you nag him whilst he's doing it and say he's doing it wrong, he'll prefer to let you get sis in law to help!

Anyway, I'm off to get dinner and watch the tennis on TV - Wimbledon is on and we have Andy Murray fever here. Have a good evening.
