jcurly - That is great news about your beta numbers! Stay positive, girl...it will keep rising, I just know it! When are you going back in? Good luck!!!

Chrissy - Congrats on the twins! You will do just fine carrying your two little ones! I am so so excited for you!!

Tara - I cannot believe you didn't get your beta results same day!! You must be going crazy for the news...be sure to update us as soon as you hear!!

Ladies - Have a wonderful weekend! I may be somewhat absent over the weekend, as I have family staying with us, but I will try to check in when I can. beta is Tuesday!! Will probably POAS right beforehand...will keep you all posted! Please keep your fingers crossed for me and my DH that we are celebrating a BFP next week! Happy Fourth!

JCurly, I love your attitude!

Welcome to Steph and babygurlsolages.

Saturday will be 2 weeks since ER, so that's a likely day to get AF if not pregnant, right? Anyone know how that works on IVF (i.e. does it not happen because of all the hormone shots)? I just don't feel pregnant this time and don't want to get my hopes up or even think about it till Wednesday beta if it's not going to happen.

Kate - I don't want to pull your hopes down or up, but I will say what happened with me. All the three times when I got negatives, I got my AF only after stopping progesterone pessaries which was about 1 or 2 days after the test day and approx 4-5 days after my AF due date.

But each ones body acts differently, some people don't feel anything and they get high beta numbers. Keep you chin up!!! You are officially PUPO!! and no one can deny that.

Well, this wasn't my time. It was a negative. I actually got the call right before my massage so had some of the tension relieved right away

I will be o.k. Will have a some wine and a long hot bath tonight

. They have already put me on the schedule for the next cycle in August if I start AF soon. So I will try to lose a few pounds for the next cycle by doing some swimming. I might try some acupuncture the next time also.

Hope next week there will be a nice long string of BFP's!!

Well I got my second beta. It was 1125. They are very happy and I am very relieved.

I don't have another beta. I will just do my ultrasound in a few weeks. I think that will be like the 2ww all over again. These numbers are postive so I will hold onto that.

Turtles ((((HUGS)))) sorry that this cycle didn't work out. I guess you could look on a positive note that you finally make it through one cycle. I am glad you are already looking in the future at your next cycle. Enjoy your wine and a nice hot bath.

Hello,
Thanks for the nice notes from everyone. My doctor called yesterday and I was talking with the nurse today and we're on track to try another transfer in August. Provided AF comes by Sunday, we are tentatively planning to do another transfer on August 21. We had 9 embryos frozen and my doctor said that half of them are of good quality and should unthaw okay so I won't have to do the stimming or retrieval part again.

Glad to hear your numbers are going up Jcurly and congrats on the twins Chrissy.

Sorry about your negative Turtle, looks like we're on about the same schedule.

My FET will be in 2 weeks hopefully. My first try was in nov 2005, ICSI, and I have a beautiful little girl, I have had 2 miscarriages since. I am quite nervous though cause it worked the first time it might not work this time.

Well, glad the long weekend has got here, and my 3 stepkids are actually going to be with their mum this 4th, so me and DH are getting in some us time (no nookie though

!!!!) - Only 7 1/2 days to go!

However, I love your attitude. I admire the strength and perseverence!! Definitely enjoy the wine and bath - you deserve it after all your body has gone through.

I'm STILL waiting for AF fo I can begin IVF #2...ugh.....

Thanks everyone for your thoughts. I haven't had my good cry yet. Probably when I have my bath.

My son did make me cry a little. A good cry though. He sang me a song he made up that just got me going:

I love you mommy,
I love your heart,
I give you flowers
I kiss your baby
I give you big hugs
The end

I think there was another line after the baby but couldn't remember it when we got home. He is such a sweetie. I tried to explain that I don't have a baby in my belly when he kissed my belly again. He said, "I know, I'm kissing the eggs!!"

I hope every one of you ladies is blessed with a sweetheart like mine. They are worth every shot, the money and time we put in trying to get them!! Good luck ladies!! I want a nice long string of BFP's next week!!

to_have_fun08- I am also glad I finally made it through an entire cycle. I hope the next goes smoothly!!

steph2 - Welcome and Good luck with your FET!!

jude7702- Wouldn't you know it, you finally get some alone time with DH and can't do anything!!

Hope the next week flies by!!

venus25- I have heard parsley tea is good for starting late AF's. It makes it not so bad if you use it with another tea.

bell-02- glad you had some frosties to work with. Sounds like a FET is less trouble. At least less shots!! Good luck!!

hi everyone,

happy 4th tomorrow! DH and I actually got to go out to dinner tonight as I finally feel like I have some energy. It was sooo nice to get out of the house for a little while. And I don't know what these hormones are doing to me , but let me tell you about my dreams lately!!! Hot and heavy hahaha

And of course, I can't do anything about them!

Besides that, I have had some cramping since the transfer, they subside if I sit down for awhile and take it easy. thursday can't get here fast enough!

chrissy - i too am 5'2" and weigh 105 lbs and everyone in my family has been joking from the start that we will end up with twins

you will do great and i am so very happy for you!

jcurly - that is great news!! Lets keep those numbers climbing

turtles - i am so sorry! you are so positive and it gives all of us hope

you sound like you have a wonderful family who loves you very much! good luck next time and hang in there. Have a glass of wine for us too!
