Hi girls.

Seems like its a quiet week with everyone but i guess no news is good news!

Well DH and i went to the FS today to see whats up! He is now putting me on the long cycle which means i start sniffing next week for what seems like ages - 3 weeks i think he said and then i start the injecting FSH but at alot lower dose. So fingers crossed this time works x

How is everyone else going?

Hi girls,

Sorry about being MIA but June is turning ut to be a bit of a big month!

Susan, I am so sorry to hear that you got a BFN, but so pleased that you are back on the horse again. A new approach might be just the trick!

Ozstock, Congrats on your little (??big) girl! Its so lovely to read each time that one of us actually holds our baby in our arms after all we go through.

Jomae, A princess for you too!!!! Isn't it just like getting your cake and eating it too? I still feel like the cat that got the cream.

Kery, you must be getting close to nuchal by now. Are you having one?

Well, we had the boys first birthday party last weekend and had a huge party (over 80 people!) and then got them baptised on the sunday. It was great to have all our families together.

Well, I'd better keep going, I haven't checked emails for three weeks!

Hi everyone
Whats been happening lately? Its very quiet around here!! I guess its because no-one is on a cycle.

Well I went for my scan last week and everything is fine. Dh was back from work so he was able to come this time. My tummy seems to be expanding every day!!! I didn't start to show with ds till about 4 1/2 months but this time is very different. Mind you to most people I would just look very fat. Yep that fat not quite pregnant look gotta love it!!!!

Em, god your boys are one!! Sooo cute. Where does the time go???

Jomae, what ya up to girl?

Hi ladies - nice to hear from you all and very happy everyone is progressing well.

Well i've had an interesting ride as of late as ive just found out im pregnant again! Now this would normally fill most people with joy however having had 2 ectopics (one in each tube) prior to this i am understandably terrified! I was actually day 12 of sniffing syneral which is also concerning but the nurse seems to think this will be ok. I am due for a scan on monday which will make me nearly 5 weeks i think but not sure i am going to see anything as it will be too early - i just want to make sure if it is an ectopic that we catch it early and it doesnt ruptured. So i guess the next few days / weeks are going to nervous ones in our house. Out of interest my beta count at 4w 3d was 550 - anyone have an opinion as to whether this is ok?

I have to say im still in shock over all of this - you emotionally prepare yourself so much for when you start IVF and then when life throws a curve ball like this it takes a while to get your head around it all.

Fingers crossed this little beanie is meant to be here for the long term xx

Hey Kery
Hows things any weird cravings to speak of i have lovely indigestions if you want that. its funny how each pregnancy is different isn't it i couldn't stand the smell of bananas or bacon with ds but nothing this time last time even brushing my teeth made me sick not the taste or anything but the bubbles touching the back of my throat but this time nothing that i'm thankful for. i think i jinxed myself with mentioning my weight in my last post iv'e actually put on three and a half kilos in the last month not the two kilos i thought it was lets just hope i can breast feed this time that helps you loose the weight doesn't it. Anyway best go bed time

hope your well JOMAEXXX

Hey Jomae
Yea isn't it weird how you crave different things. Last time I craved garlic bread and believe me I ended up with a rear end to show for it!!! This time it's fruit, I can't get enough of it. The last pregnancy I put on so much weight and it was so hard to get rid of. So this time I am really trying to eat right. Do you think you started to show earlier with this pregnancy?

Hi ladies,
Not sure if many of you will remember me, I'm Belinda and am from Bris-Vegas. We have Annie who is almost four (yikes!) who was a FET bubba, then Eleanor who was conceived the old fashioned way. We have one frozen embryo from Annie's cycle and have met with our specialist with the view of giving it a shot. We have thought long and hard about this. I was quite sick with PND after both girls were born, but much worse with Elle (I spent six weeks in a mother baby PND unit). We really feel though that this little embryo deserves a chance at life and that what will be will be.....
Back on the rollercoaster!!
Tiger, how are you my old friend? Where are you up to on the IVF world? and life in general?

Hey BelB
So great to hear from you i know you were struggling after ellie was born and have often thought of you and hows things were going

For the ladies who don't know BelB she is one of the first supports i had along with tiger when cycleing for my ds with out fail Belb was there to lend support and put a postiive spin on any situation which was the best which is why it's great to see her posting again.

Bel so your back on the rollercoaster again hey perhaps a little man for you this time. Annies nearly four wow and if i remember correctly Ellie are you calling her ellie or Elanor is a couple of weeks older than Jacob who is definately growing up so much. Hows the hubby well i hope. BTW don't go and stay with your brother this time or you may have to wait again to use your little embie HA HA. So how are things for you now are you feeling on top of things i hope so it's not a pleasant thing to go through. Anyway on to good thoughts when do you plan to cycle you'd be doing a natural frozen cycle is that right .

Best go great to hear from you and definatley look forward to posting with you soon and even more to reading about your Bfp

Take care give the girls a cuddle
Jomaexxx

Hi everyone and nice to meet you Belinda.

Well fanastic news my end as it appears the beanie has found the right place to bed down (or at least a sac has - won't see a heartbeat until a scan next week)!! After 2 ectopics i cannot tell you how relieved i am! I know we've got an enormously long way to go but this milestone for me is VERY significant.

So i get to give my drugs back to Monash now and beg for my money back as i had just handed it over the morning of my blood test last Friday - apparently its not going to be easy.

Take care everyone and thanks for all of your good wishes.

WOW Susan that is very cool news to hear!!! You must feel so much better now that you know your beanie is safe and sound. You are lucky that you could take back your meds. My clinic has a policy that once you buy the drugs there is no returning them. I hope you get your money back or at least some of it!!

Hey belinda it sounds like you were one of the orginal girls around here. Welcome back to the board and I look forward to hearing how your next ivf journey goes.

Hi there ladies,
:D
It was so lovely to be so warmly welcomed back here..To be honest I have kind of peeked in every so often over the past twleve months or so I've been "away". I'm so pleased to hear of Jo's news, Jo I definately remember your journey, your Jacob is a little bit older than Eleanor I think? (she was born on the 30th of August 2006). And you're pregnant again is that right?? Is this a "natural" pregnancy or an assisted one? Either way my dear, it's GREAT news! And I so hear what you're saying about starting a second pregnancy with a bit of extra weight. I showerd SOOOOO much earlier with Elly Belly, I had people asking me if I was pregnant at about seven weeks. Having said that, I'm always amazed that people dare to ask such a personal question..My good friend is a GP, she reckons you never ask / assume until you see that baby crowning from the birth canal!!

My Eleanor is pretty amazing, she's 22 months old now, walking , talking, peeing and pooing in the right places and OMG she never stops talking!!..Actually, it's kind of hard for her to get a word in, Annie is a HUGE talker as well, poor Johnie, he's surrounded by chatterbox women.. I had a really tough time after her birth, I've only just weaned off all of my anti-depressant / anti-anxiety medication and am doing OK (touch wood!!!) I'm still in regular contact with my Psychiatrist and if I get pregnant again I'll need to be treated through the pregnancy preventatively with a low dose of medication with the view to boost up my dose as soon as I had the baby..I'm quite scared to be quite honest, of going through it again, I was really dreadfully sick. We figure though that what will be will be. If it's meant to be it will be..I may not feel this philosophical if the FET doesn't work..Gosh I'd forgotten how hard it all was..

Susan, that's fantastic news that your little bean is in the right place, that's a fantastic indicator of positive things to come I would think..Make sure you let us know as the pregnancy progresses, it creates a lot of hope and general positivity for all of us other chickies still on the rollercoaster.

OK gals, gotta go, phone is ringing!!
