Hey everyone,

Prawnster - I'm sorry to hear about your cycle this time around. I'm glad you had a great holiday though in spite of, and hope you are able to get going soon again.

Well - I did POAS this morning, and.....it was two lines!!!!!!! So I am cautiously very excited! And really hoping that the lines stick around, now of course I will have to POAS every day until Friday to make sure they do!!
Holy smokes!!! OMG!!!! Can't wait till tomorrow morning now!!!!

Jude - That is awesome news!!! Looking forward to the daily updates all week!! Congrats!!

OK ladies...It has been impossible for me to be incognito in going out to buy some HPTs this weekend...However, yesterday afternoon, I was dying to POAS, so I just took a quick check in the little bag where I had my ovulation test kits to make sure there weren't also any HPTs in there (I was sure there wasn't). Well, there were three!! So immediately I ripped one open and peed on it. It was negative. I had just gone to the bathroom about an hour before, and I wasn't that surprised that it was negative...it nagged at me just a little, but I knew I would have to POAS again in the morning. And I couldn't give that negative any credibility. I woke up this morning and snuck into the bathroom, turned on the faucet so DH wouldn't hear me opening the package. Waiting and waiting...Faint positive!!!!! I looked at it several times before I crawled back into bed. I started to tell my DH, but I stopped. A minute later, got up, went into the bathroom to look at it again...then came back to bed and told him. We are both so excited, cautiously excited, but excite none-the-less!! Keeping it quiet for now. Will POAS again in the morning...and of course will keep you all posted! Beta Tuesday!!

Hope everyone has had a great weekend...Parents leave tomorrow and back to work for me :(

Hugs,
Jen

Thanks guys!

Ah ha!!! Ah ha Ah ha Ah ha!!!!

Adsgirl I knew you would cave and I just knew it would be good!!

That is awesome girl! Big congratulations to you!! Lets keep it going, come on lines every day!!!!!!!!!

Thats so funny with your sneaky story! - When I told DH approx 10 secs. after I saw the lines in the bathroom, he said 'Don't be getting your hopes up', and that was about it. Huh. Well, I will be the serenely excited one for both of us until the official beta!! I have been back to look at the lines at least 4 times already!

Adsgirl - CONGRATULATIONS, what a great day for you!!! You're cracking me up with the stealth peeing :) I can't wait to hear your actual beta, just 1 1/2 days to go.

Jude - My DH is the same way, cautiously optimistic. We did not see a heart beat last year at our first ultrasound, so he's on pins and needles for another week and a half. I'm keeping the faith and know this is our time, so I'm totally excited!

My 3rd beta was this morning and it was 6689! I was hoping for at least 4800, so this was a pleasant surprise!!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday..unfortunately it's back to work tomorrow :(

Angram- WOW, what a great 3rd beta!!!! Did you get to schedule your first u/s?? I bet you are thrilled!!

Turtles- I am so, so sorry  (((hugs))) for you!!! I am so glad that you are going to jump right back into things. I am wishing you the best!!

Adsgirl- Holy crap!!! That is awesome!! Congrats on a BFP HPT!!! I cant wait to hear your high beta in 2 more days.

Jude- OMG, congrats!!! When is your beta??

Neffi- I am so glad all wen well with your visit. I bet you are busting at the seams waiting for your u/s next week!

Imblessed- Congrats on graduation to the OB!

Prawnster- I am so sorry things didnt work out this cycle, but I am very glad that you guys can jump back into a new cycle, and right away at that. I hope that this is it for you!!!

Well, I am back from vaca and it was a rough one. No sleep, exhausted & worn out. I am so afraid I WAY over did it. The roads in MI are HORRIBLE and I got stuck riding in the way back of a mini van everywhere we went. The only thing I can compare the roughness to is a wooden wagen with the wooden wheels while a team of horses are running as fast as they can. My Dr told me no horse back riding or anything that jars the pelvis, so I am scared to death because it was rough. DH rode in the back on the way back to my dad's. Then I started spotting. Lets just say I am a nervoud wreck and Thurs cant get here soon enough. Now, to ad to this, I just found out my dog of 13 1/2 years has cancer. I am trying SO hard not to get upset because I know that it is not good. Aaarrrhhhh... I am not suppose to lift anything over 15lbs and I have been carrying my dog around all day today and she weighs 40lbs.
We did have a nice visit with family, it was very HARD not to shout out real loud that we are pregnant, but we didnt. OMG, I dont think I am going to make it to Thurs!!

Well, sorry to piss and moan

I hope ya'll had a great holiday!!!!!

Prawnster - I'm so sorry about your BFN. It sounds like you already have your plan to immediately start again. That's great! Are they going to change your protocol?

AdsGirl & Jude - Way to go on the HPTs! I look forward to seeing great beta numbers this week.

Dakota - I'm so sorry about your dog having cancer. I have a dog and she's almost 10yrs old....they're like kids....they really do become a part of your family. I know I would be an emotional wreck. You have to find the strength to take it easy (which is easier said than done). But, it sounds like you're hanging in there. I'll keep you and your dog in my prayers.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, ladies!

Angram - Awesome beta numbers!! Congrats! When is your u/s?

Dakota - I am so sorry to hear you had a rough vaca!! I have to ride around in the back of a van for work sometimes with six other people...and it absolutely sucks. Minivans are to transport kids, and adults should not be forced to sit in that back row!!! Anyway - I am so so so so sorry to hear about your pooch. I've had a dog that suffered at an old age from kidney problems, and it is one of the most difficult things to endure...praying for you and your dog (what is her name?). Please try to take it easy! When are you going back to the doc?

Jude - I know, I know...I totally caved, but I didn't expect anything less. You have no idea the excitement that went through me when I realized those three HPTs were in there! I can't believe I hadn't checked earlier! Anyway - POAS again this morning, and it still looks promising. When is your beta? Wednesday? Good luck! Are you still POAS daily?

Turtles - Thanks...I've been thinking of you...how was your weekend? When are you going back to the doc?

ImBlessed Thanks! We are pretty excited for those beta numbers tomorrow, as well! How are you feeling? When is your next visit to the doc? Are you going back to your ob/gyn soon? Hope all is going perfectly for you!!

Adsgirl- Thanks for the well wishing on my doggy. Her name is Sitara and she is a Siberian Husky.
My U/S was scheduled for Thurs, but I called today and had it changed to tomorrow. WIth everything that is going on I am about to have a nervous breakdown and I cant wait until Thurs, I am just afraid it will be too soon and we will not be able to see any hearbeat(s). I'll be 6w2d tomorrow. I've heard alot of people can see them between 5w6d & 6w3d, but they recomend to wait until 6w5d. Who can wait that long?????

Anyway, I am glad you got more lines this morning!!! I cant wait for your beta!!! How exciting!!!

Adsgirl - Woo Hoo on the great tests so far. My weekend was fine. Didn't do much. Went to a watermelon festival. I haven't been feeling real good. My throat is still bothering me. I did start AF yesterday so I am happy about that. :D I just got off the phone with the nurse and I start BCP on Friday. I think my estimated ER is the week of Aug. 18th. I also had a voice mail from my main doctor. He was saying how sorry he was it didn't work out and if I wanted to talk to him to just call. I thought that was nice. I already know we are doing the same protocol so I can't think of any other questions for him.

Dakota
- I am so sorry to hear about your dog. That is not something you need at any time, let alone now. Wow, sorry your vacation was rough. Vacations are suppose to be relaxing!! :) Anyway, can't wait for your u/s.

turtles - Congrats on AF arriving and awesome news you're already getting to start BCPs and get the show on the road :)

Dakota - I am so terribly sorry to hear Sitara is sick, my heart goes out to you and I'm praying for her. I have a 12 year old German named Sadie and she's the love of my life. She's had a rough road the past year, so I completely understand the heart break of watching your little one get sick. I'll be thinking of you both and wish her the very best. Good luck at your u/s tomorrow, I'm sure you'll be able to heart beat and everything will be great.

I had another round of vitals this morning and everything is looking good. My first u/s is finally scheduled, it will be next Wednesday (7/16) and I'll be 6.5 weeks. I'm already going crazy waiting and that's another 1 1/2 weeks away! Is anyone else totally exhausted? I consider myself in decent shape, not excellent, but decent. I am actually getting winded just walking up the stairs and my pulse is elevated. My nurse was giving me a hard time this morning and then said it's just the extra blood working my system so hard. I'm walking every day to get more exercise, but I just feel so pathetic in how easily I get tired. Not complaining for sure, just wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing?

angram - When I was pregnant with my son I was really exhausted the first trimester of pregnancy. My husband thought I was pulling his leg because he thought it was toward the end of your pregnancy that you got so tired. Not so!! Your body is working really hard making a new life so you will be pretty tired. So you are completely normal being so tired. Just take it easy and it will get better in the second trimester. I ended up having to take lots of naps. Good luck!!

Hello Ladies

Thank you all for your kind words and good wishes. I spoke to one of the nurse's at the clinic today and they will send me through a follow up appointment to discuss the cycle etc. Though to be honest I don't think they will change anything for the next go as it all went fairly smoothly - it was just that they didn't implant and that's fate I suppose. Still I can get going again on my next period, so estimate September hopefully as the whole thing took so long last time. I think if the next one doesn't work then we may look at adoption as I am not getting any younger and we are skint!!!! (like all of you I should imagine). Plus I have always liked the idea of giving a child a home especially as I myself had a rough childhood and was fostered. I feel like I need to do something really good for someone else.

Anyway I am so thrilled for you: AdsGirl, I'mBlesssed and jude7702 !!!!!
You all really deserve it and I looking forward to your progress reports.

dakota - I am sorry to hear about Sitara and I will pray for her. I lost my cat of 8 years last year and I was devestated and still grieve. I totally understand the pain you must be feeling. x Good luck with the U/S tomorrow.

And thanks Rinnie and turtlesonastump and everyone, I will imagine that I will be poking my head around the Aug/Sept thread very soon.

Louise
