Post by carebear110b »

Hello ladies! well i have a question for some of you, after 5yrs of trying and male factor infertility we did ivf, we have 9 frozen embryos left ad since giving birth to my son on march 11th, 2008 we have decided that after his first bday we want to try to do a frozen embryo transer and try for a sibling. does anyone have any success stories from the fet? and can anybody tell me what to expect? we had a successsful ivf on the first try and im hoping for the same results if thats even possible. i would just love to give my son a sibling any comments and success stories/advice are welcome thank you

Hi, my little girl was the result of a FET. For me everything just went along with my normal cycle and when i ovulated i rung the clinic and 2 days later (i think). i went in and that was it. I just took progesterone for the 1st couple of weeks, it was so easy compared to whole fresh cycle. Some clinics do the process differently but mine tried to keep it as natural as possible.

I had 3 frosties and all 3 de-frosted well and they put the best 2 back in.

Good luck, when the time comes

Hi

My little boy was through FET. This was out first attempt at FET and we transferred very small embies as they were frozen immediately so (2 & 3 cell). It definately works! Love Vicky

we are pregnant with twins and the cycling is much easier than a fresh cycle. you still have lots of ultrasounds though.

My boy is from a FET. We were not successful with the fresh and had 6 left over from that cycle. It is so much easier than the fresh cycle..at least it was for me...
